Naseem Richardson said that the only thing which shocked him about Manny's weight is that a man of his natural frame managed to make the lower weight classes for such a long time. And If Naseem believes there's nothing to be suspicious about, then that's good enough for me.
And I'm very much a Floyd man.
I really think Zab is the most well rounded fighter in the division right now, but time is ticking away and the competition will develop. He needs to get his shots at the cream of the division as soon as possible.
They can change to 148 for all I care. Margarito is a 147 fighter anyway.
By fight night, it'll be 22 months since Margarito made 147.
Same old Pacquiao scheming.
Really wish there was a section on here dedicated to bait/loaded threads concerning Manny and Floyd. So much of what is here is the product of idiocy and a serious waste of bandwidth. The place is a bit of a joke.
and posters?
I'll second that. Ordered this tonight:

But there are a thousand and one other fight posters I'd happily cough money up for but can't find.
Edit: This site is well worth looking at...

If Floyd says screw the Pacaqiuo fight because of the complications of getting it done and fights the winner of Williams vs Martinez next is he still critcized of not getting the pac fight done?
The opening segment of this video should answer your question:
Click
Right out of the horses mouth himself on Pacquiao - Margarito 24/7...
"we pretty much agreed to everything with blood testing except, not within seven days."
...so Manny agreed to everything? Smoke and mirrors, Manny wants none of Floyd.
If I were one of the many on here who've been spouting off about Manny agreeing to random blood testing, I'd feel a little silly right now.
Don't understand people who've shown a problem with the original thread starter. He's supplying a valid point to a topic that is discussed on here everyday :dunno:
I think 24/7 and, for that matter, HBO's face-offs are a couple of the real bright points about the sport right now. They do a fantastic job of promoting not just sales but the sport as a whole. I was/am only very tamely excited by the Pac-Marg bout, but I know that - just like for a lot of other people - 24/7 will whet my appetite for the fight. It always does.
I think some real credit has to go to Frank and his matchmakers for the job they've done of late. Ricky Burns-Roman Martinez, Liam Walsh-Maxwell Awuku, Nathan Cleverly-Karo Murat; these kinds of fights show how it should be done.
They're two GREAT fighters (obviously) and on paper it's a very intriguing fight. However, I think it could prove to be another 'boring' Floyd victory. And I think his jab could be key against the smaller Pacquaio.
I am slightly biased, though.
The media sure are sticking the knife in.
I think the boxing media think they can play a part in coercing a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight into existence. And they may well be proven right.
For a 36yr old, he's in tremendous shape.
Granted. And maybe the lethargy he suffered in the latter rounds can be put down to being out of the ring for 10 months(?) or coming back down in weight. We'll know better after his next fight.
If Floyd had been left feeling like he was calling the shots, I think we'd have a fight. As it happens, I think ego is more of a stumbling block than his physical well-being or undefeated record. He's only comfortable being the boss (read: he's a bit of a twat) and I suspect he has enough nodding dogs around him to ensure it's a big shock when other people (in this case Arum with his ultimatums and nous around the negotiating table) exercise their power. If they want Floyd to sign, they'd probably be best making him feel like every detail of the contract is his ****ing idea.
