Would Floyd still be bashed if fought winner of Williams vs Martinez instead of Pac?

surely you don't me on the ATG list? Even if Floyd beats Manny, he will still be rated below Manny as far as most historians are concerned. Same reason Duran is above Hearns, and Pep is above sandler. That makes sense... Maybe I should have said today's era specifically (p4p etc). But than again, for every excuse about some Floyd fought there's one for Manny too. So, let's say he beats both PWil and Martinez... I'd say he'd be higher. (I can't see anyway Pac beats Martinez, so I'm pretty confident about that).

Hell no. I'd rather him fight the winner of that fight, hell maybe even the loser. The Pac fight I've lost interest in, unless it happens at 140.

Sergio Martinez is fighting at 157 lbs in his next fight, and 160lbs naturally....Floyd is currently extremely comfortable at WW. again, that fight will NEVER happen. williams or martinez are not tougher fight that Manny. Manny has the skills, speed and power to end Floyd. if anyone here think Martinez and Williams are better than Manny is just plain stupid. manny already considered ATG's while those two are considered what? a 3rd ballot hall of famer? Williams would crush Pac-man if they fought and Martinez probably would win by decision on points! Martinez can box and we all know Pac has trouble with technical boxers!

I would give him credit that only if he fought valiantly and loses the fight if he won it must have been fixed.

Actually I have always gave Floyd props, especially when he beat Floyd. Hell there probably isn't a poster on this site that gives Floyd as much credit for his win over Judah as I do. Pre-Kostya Tszyu I truly believed Zab would beat Floyd. That's why i used the term 'most'.
