Yes, I think Pacquaio scares him. I think he knows that to win, he will have to go through hell and unlike all his previous opponents he knows Manny has a 50/50 chance of beating him. With 100 million dollars in the bank he doesn't think an extra 40 million is worth that.

Let's say Mayweather is not scared of Manny. Lets also say Mayweather wasn't scared of all those fighters he choose not to fight because the were a threat to win. For the sake of discussion lets say he a wise business man that realized the importance of remaining undefeated and protecting his legacy. In that view one might realize that Mayweather did his legacy and his career more damage than good.

read the sentence in bold and think about it. thats not logical that sounds retarded as ****. demanding extra tests means you want to make sure that the opponent is clean. thats logical. negative media coverage.. thats part of floyds bad boy vs pacquiao good boy image. I'm not saying Floyd is ducking the fight, but logically the argument you're responding to makes perfect sense. If Floyd wanted to duck the fight then the most sensible way to get out of it would be to hammer the steroids issue and hope Pacquiao doesn't agree to his demands. That's the best way out of the fight from Mayweather's perspective because it makes it look like Pacquiao's a cheat, rather than Mayweather looking like he's greedy or scared of losing (which is what would happen if the talks broke down over money or the weight or some other issue).

If Floyd had been left feeling like he was calling the shots, I think we'd have a fight. As it happens, I think ego is more of a stumbling block than his physical well-being or undefeated record. He's only comfortable being the boss (read: he's a bit of a twat) and I suspect he has enough nodding dogs around him to ensure it's a big shock when other people (in this case Arum with his ultimatums and nous around the negotiating table) exercise their power. If they want Floyd to sign, they'd probably be best making him feel like every detail of the contract is his ****ing idea. You make sense. That's why fans should stop supporting this divaistic attitude. It's got to end. As a Pac fan I have hoped that Pac team would accept everything, I mean everything the Queen Mayweather demands and get on with the fight. I doubt if the Queen is really interested or just bluffing.
