Why is it becoming a pattern of dangerous #1 contenders always getting caught for PEDS. Especially the Heavyweight division. Jarell Miller caught before Joshua fight... Povetkin caught before Wilder fight Ortiz caught before Wilder fight Dillian Whyte caught before Wilder fight (Mandatory as of 7/24/19) Now i give Joshua a pass because it was only one opponent, but something is going on with WILDER, WBC, and PBC. Is this the new way of ducking a stiff challenge?

I jus want to say somethin about Roy Jones and his knockout losses to Tarver and Johnson. Does this tarnish he legacy because Thomas Hearns and Sugar ray Robinson both got knocked out and where still looked at as good foghters after those fights so jus askin maybe it was the other fighters and not Roy...i Mean Tarver was a tall southpaw who gave Roy trouble with his style and Glen Johnson has legendary stamina and a solid chin so can Roy still be good and maybe it was jus those fighters

Man ive been thinking about this for some time and i jus wanted to see wut u guys think. I watch espn and sportcenter a lot and they hype of a lot of things like NBA finals...world series....even hockey and soccer...but boxing gets only a small portion of tv time. The most hype i eva seen for a fight was may-dlh wen they had mini interviews on espnews...other than that they dont hype of names the way they should and i garantee that if they did ppv number would definetly increase. And ppl would finally say the sport is not dead

i mean IMO james is one of the best fighters in the last 20 years p4p than anyone i have ever seen. He has speed, a chin, defense, and a bad ass attitude, also he shows showmanship. This highlight i believe will show you why he will win.

I been on the forum on and off most of the day and i can say that i been hearing a lot of people say that Pavlik will ko P will and all that other stuff but i have a different view. I think that P will will feel very comfortable at this weight being that he once replenished to 164 at one time in a fight with being said. imma keep it brief Power: In this department a lot of people give it to kelly but P Will mostly gets his knockouts off by overwhelming opponents but showed he has a right hand in his last fight. Pavlik has better ko percentage though Jabs: i think that this fight will be a battle of jabs most of all. P Will has a tendecy to throw his jab and so does pavlik.but i will give the edge to pavlik being that he shoot hard straight jabs for the most. Speed: P Will has to be the favorite in this department...he throws all kind of punches from different angles and is capable of throwing 100 punches per round (seeing if the weight class is a problem) ...While Pavlik shoot basically straight punches throught the middle and occasional hooks to the body Defense: This would have to go to pavlik being that he keeps his hands high picking of shots...while P Will has shown in many fights he can be overwhelmed with shotS(Marg, Cintron 1st fight). Chin: Lastly neither fighter has been knocked out but both have been stunned at times. But in most of their fights these two have shown they can take punishment without ever being knocked out. Even My Take: P Will by decision by throwing to many punches in this fight and maybe even hurting pavilk at times..with pavlik also having his share of rounds..7-5 p will

Last nite i was watching Leonard-Benitez and a though came to my mind that i felt i need to address with people on this forum. I cant help but think how it was back in the day when the best constantly fought the best so that the winner with out a doubt would be the champion of that division. And i was tryin to name names for guys that Ali, Ray Leonard, Joe Louis, Ray robinson ever ducked and i cant name any. these greats all have defeats on their records but every single one of them came bak to beat the guy that beat them....Ali-Frazier, Leonard- Duran....and so on. In todays era or ever a little bit bak....the present fighters duck the shit out of each other. Its sad to the fans and overall its sad to theiselves. When i see Mayweather, and Roy Jones...i say to myself why not fight all the big names in the division i mean are they really this scared to lose or is it just the money factor. Is it legacy or salary nowadays? Floyd says he is the best fighter today and is one of the all time greats.....but can he rebound from adversity is the question? What if Cotto beats him (if they fight) can mayweather rebound to beat him bak. If he does he becomes bigger than he is now...So Floyd y not take some risks and lay it all out on the line with all that talent he possess??

I hear people on hear sayin alot about Floyd and thats ok but lets be real and not dumb for a minute... 1. Running from Antonio Margarito: Lets be honest is this guy someone who is going to affect Floyd's leagcy when he retires just because he didnt fight him....Simply put NO...i mean the guy has 5 losses and 4 were to bums and 1 to an overrated annorexic. I watched this fight 4x so far and i come to the same conclusion that Juan beat Manny. Then there goes the how factor: The 12 round in my opinion is what won that fight and look at how marquez neutralizes manny's left hand and make him stumble twice. Goin in to that round the fight was even...how did Marquez lose???????

I been following Chad Dawson for about his last 7 fights. He is a prtetty good southpaw with good speed and power. Lacks good defensive skills(but floyd Sr should change that). If he beats Glen Johnson and beats him is impressive fashion. What does that do to his stock.....i believe it would b time for the legends to pay attention to him.

This guy just beat Jermain Taylor for the second time. The same Jermain Taylor that was givien 3 gifts (Hopkins 2x, Wright) and 1 questionable(spinks) because he was supposed to be the next big thing in the boxing game. He did have the athletism, speed and power to fool most of the people on this forum that he was the next big thing and the best in the middleweight division But here comes the kid from Ohio.....and knocks Taylor out the first time and then outpoints him in thier second fight. What does that mean for Pavlik is he the best in the division and who beats him at 160?????
