ye but look at Rigondeux vs Donaire, it was the bigger, more powerful guy vs the smaller more agile one.
Rigondeux made Donaire hit thin air, that could maybe happen in Mikey v Loma too, no?
I think Mikey is too big for him! 135 is stretching it for Loma who is 5'6 with only a 65 inch Reach
Yeah I'm sure people are thinking Pacquiao but Pacquiao had way more Power! I do think Loma could possibly out-box some bigger guys but seeing how he did have issues with Salido Size I don't know if he should move up that far because again he is not a big guy nor does he have the great Power that Pacquiao has
he said himself that he will go to 135 once he's cleaned up 130
oh my lord, kell brook fans are embarassing.
eddie hearn has you believing that kell brook is a top p4p fighter when he's had 1 credible win out of 39 (which was very close and could have gone either way)
is the fight at 140 or 147?
regardless of weight, mikey schools him
mikeys got a crazy work ethic, hes always training, i see no way in which mikey can loose to be honest, easy win for him
wilder is the most overrated boxer imo.
just throws autistic swings/hammer fists in peoples faces, no technique at all. phoney fighter. aj deserves the popularity more than him because he is a better fighter than him, simples.
kells fought 3 big names in his career, one of them was a close, scrappy win over shawn porter. the other two broke his eyes or w/e the **** happen to em.
i fully agree with Ali Boyame, khans 3 wins at Welter over collazo, algieri and alexander are all bigger wins and more convinicing wins than all of Kells career
Explain how he left Kovalev outside of that list. And how Golovkin fits there only if he beats Canelo.
because its his list and he can do what he wants to it.
I actually wanna go back on my statement. I don't think he's trash, I just think he's overhyped and not as good as people say he is. He COULDVE been, but his choice of opposition in his earlier stage of his career ruined him. If only he went to America like khan and tried to make a name there.
Brook is completely overrated. His only win of note was a MD against Porter in a fight that could of gone either way. He's quit in his other two big fights. I don't understand how anyone can even put Brook in the same league as Khan to be honest.
amir khans chin is very questionable, but he's more exciting than brook and his record is 10x better than brooks aswell.
i honestly cant see why kell brook fans rate kell so much. imo someone like eggington will beat him anyday.
Khan is no 1 welterweight in U.K. Then it's brook, then eggington or w/e. When you compare khans resume to Kells it says it all really.
Olympic Silver medalist at 17
Former unified 140 pound champ
147 silver champ
Commonwealth lightweight champ
Defeated the likes of maidana, collazo, Judah, barrera, kotelnik, salita, malignaggi, alexander, diaz
Whilst kell brook on the other hand
Has won a IBF welterweight title
Has beaten porter (very close and scrappy decision), and the rest of bums and cab drivers like gavin and jojo dan
Says it all really. Eddie Hearn and himself had u believing he was elite. Fooled the public.
dont understand why the guy gets so much hate. he got knocked out 3 times, all by big punchers. his fights are always full of energy and explosiveness, one of those guys that will make sure u get ur moneys worth
So. Does that make us poor, stupid or simply masochistic?
It is true though - the popularity of boxing in the UK is something of an anomaly vis a vis the rest of western Europe - but then so is darts.
I mean, Germany has a lot of boxers
This is a tame thread while at the same time being interesting and non-aggressive and really an ideal thread in many ways. Very solid comments all the way around. This thread gets a green K!
thanksss, im so glad no one took offense to it or got triggered by it, i was just geniunely wandering what are the reasons for it.
some solid and creative answers
Lack of boxing gyms in white neighbourhoods?
They go into wrestling or MMA instead?
Just my guesses
