dont understand why the guy gets so much hate. he got knocked out 3 times, all by big punchers. his fights are always full of energy and explosiveness, one of those guys that will make sure u get ur moneys worth
Can you offer any reasonable explanation as to why he didn't fight him? Especially when Khan has a big fan base and could help sell more PPVs? Floyd is not a KO king, and if Khan goes the distance it's anyone's fight. Floyd still has the Dave Moretti advantage, but outside of that, Floyd hasn't really fought anyone with Khan's skill set before. Zab comes closest but he basically quit against Khan and lost to Floyd after losing to Baldomir.
Skill set? Khan has poor defense and no inside game.

honestly, there really isn't any reasonable explanation per se'...unless you want to count Floyd Sr. saying he didn't want his son to fight Khan, because he didn't want Khan to make any money off Floyd..
LOL @ thinking Khan could beat Floyd.
The gulf in skill is too great.

the gulf in skill with Floyd and Ortiz, guerrero, Maidana, and Berto was even greater, but its more about the level of competitiveness, than it is about who would beat who...
If Floyd hadn't ducked Khan and he won that fight he would have been considered the best in the division by most people. There's a reason Floyd ducked him so many times, he knew Khan was a very difficult stylistic match up which is why he chose Maidana, someone Khan already beat.
I agree. Always thought Khan was a style matchup that would make for an interesting fight, but I don't know man. The Floyd boys just used any ol' garbage excuse for the non-fight. I enjoyed the Maidana-Broner rumble, that was the rematch imo. Floyd-Maidana, eh, that was a guy Floyd expoited for a check 2x.
Like I said, If it wasn't for all the tops guys 'ducking' Killer Khan then Amir would be the P4P GOAT....sure.

Khan takes a lot of heat for his KO losses, but he has heart and balls man. He is a skilled boxer, but he's prone to mixing it up and that is a formula for disaster when you are chinny. He was boxing well against Garcia and Canelo when he got caught. Khan defeated Maidana...the guy Floyd chose 2x over Khan even after his fans chose Khan as his next opponent.
This leads back to the original point. Many fighters ducked Khan because of the risk they'd get beaten by him. Tim Bradley even admitted it in a live radio interview, and Nacho Beristain is on record admitting it too. With so many ducking him, including the very best fighters in the division by resume, Khan has very regularly been ducked by your "murderous fighters".

Khan may be the most ducked fighter in history... Mayweather, Pacquaio, Marquez, Bradley, Broner have all ducked Khan, to name a few.. others too.

You are right, the criticism Khan receives it totally unjustified.
He has slain so many murderous fighters it is beyond doubt that he is clearly being discriminated against because his skill is a rare and unique gift.
Or he is a complete twonk.

The only people who'd remember those things are sad haters. e.g. Pacquiao, Wladimir, Roy Jones Jr and Tyson got knocked out more than Khan (and in many cases knocked out by far inferior opposition than the calibre that knocked out Khan) but only a hater would fixate on those knockout losses now wouldn't they...

Yes, he is without doubt the greatest boxer never to have been given an opportunity to show his true greatness and superiority.
So tragic that all Khan will be remembered for is his twitter account, getting KTFO and jerking off on Skype...

Floyd outright avoided him.
Arum killed the Pac fight but it could still happen at some point this year.
He fought an overweight super welter though.
Agenda fail.
Fixed it for you
Brook called him out to no avail but fighters at the top of the game like Pacquiao and Mayweather never considered him worthy. Probably because he lost so many big fights and plenty by knockout.
Can somebody please research and list the fighters Amir has called out in the last 2 or 3 years but not fought?

He fought a full blown middleweight though.
