Arum's plan is for the Pacquiao-Bradley winner to face the Marquez-Peterson winner in November.

Of course. He has no intention of making the Mayweather fight. He's going to ride Pacquiao into the money green sunset.
Marquez and its not even close. I can't remember the last time i've seen Pacman/Freddie Roach adjust the gameplan mid-fight. His high volume of punches usually puts the onus on the opponent.
I never been impressed with Bradley. He maneuvered his way through his loaded division in search of a big 147 payday, which obviously he has found. Plus he ducked Khan.
In one corner you have a hypejob and in the other a fighter who hasn't been the same since Hopkins took his lunch money. One thing is for certain, this fight would put me to sleep.
I say Chavez wins
how come black people are angry a killer is a celeb, do they forget OJ Simpson? He murdered 2 white people and was a huge celeb living the high life after getting off on the murder charges
Hey numbnuts, OJ Simpson was one of the best running backs of his era and he was already a celebrity (heisman trophy winner, commercial spokesperson, etc.) prior to being tried for murder. Zimmerman is and was just a local nobody who put himself in a bad situation.
On a side note, I think even less of Zimmerman now for even partaking in something like this. He should focus on just living inconspicuously in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure that Joshua Clottey's trainer or someone connected to his training camp once said Clottey lost because he was having too much sex before the fight. I know about the myth that it causes boxers to perform worse when they have sex before a fight, but still, thought that was an interesting excuse.
You know this was an excuse because Clottey's ugly @ss isn't getting laid like that.
Actually, that is the reason he lost to Cotto.
Negative. Did you really just quote the Examiner as if it was supposed to be a defining argument for him losing?
Actually I think this was the last thing he needed. ANOTHER devastating KO defeat. If anything was going to humble him it would have been the Prescott fight (lol) or more recently Peterson.
I think last night was the last of Amir Khan, pretty sad in my opinion. He's a good guy.
Right here.
I don't know who lied to ya'll and made ya'll drink the kool-aid on Broner being a good "technical" fighter.
I also don't know who lied to ya'll and made ya'll drink the kool-aid on Broner being a good defensive fighter.
I'm not for triangle theories at all...but you already know what ima say as far as both fighters ability to adapt and adjust. If there's anything ya'll got right is the fact that Broner is significantly bigger.
Broner is no tomato can, but he's hella overhyped in comparison to his counterparts. Gamboa by a very, very wide UD.
I never claimed he was very technical or a good defensive fighter for that matter either. I just think he has more talent then Gamboa and has the mental edge plus he's hungrier.
If he's anything like his idol he'll be at his best when the lights are the brightest.
Personally I wasn't impressed at all with Broner last night as far as inside the ring. I think he is so fascinated with looking like Mayweather that it takes away from his offense. He could have stopped Escobedo before the fifth round if he came out throwing more.
I don't think Broner realizes that at lightweight (his current weight) Mayweather threw combinations better than anyone has ever seen. It wasn't until he moved up in weight a bit where he started fighting from behind his defense. To me Broner's antics are premature because Mayweather already had a few solid wins before he really started his PBF/Money Mayweather persona.
Hard to keep a career going when you're fighting top guys twice a year for almost 20 years.
In the last 6 years
Mayweather had 5 fights
Pacquiao had 11 fights
Mayweather went up 1 weight class
Pacquiao went up 4 weight classes
not to mention he fought Fighters Mayweather blatantly ducked.
Which is why Pacquiao is one of the greatest to ever box
To be fair, a few of those opponents Pacman fought in those years were Floyd leftovers.
And you can't really fault Mayweather from only moving up 1 weight class. What did you expect him to do fight at middleweight? That does not make sense at all.
For me it is def Antonio Demarco vs. John Molina Jr. I was expecting bombs away for a while in that fight and than Molina decided to sit on the ropes when he should have taken a knee and put the ref in the awkward position. Another fight that I expected better action was Chavez/Martinez apart from the 12th round it was just a straight boxing lesson and Chavez just let it happen without pressing the action and throwing bombs.
The fight in your avatar. I never thought i'd see Dawson look so outclassed.
