Total mismatch.....Broner easily. This guy will walk through competition for years to come. Hand speed is equal to Gamboa, but he's bigger, punches harder and is a million times more technical.

I really want to see these guys duke it out. Who you got? FYI... Young fighters need to start fighting each other... im tired of all the Al Haymond/GB boxers getting bums for breakfast i like the concept, but gamboa is 30 years old and that's not young at all, especially for a man so tiny. they're around the same size and if they're looking to take a step to the elite level it will just be a matter of getting the business squared away.

Great fight. Broner will have his moments maybe even drops Yuri but I see Gamboa winning this fight. I think both men can knock each other out. Wouldn't be surprised if either won to be honest but man it would be a hell of a fight!

Right here. I don't know who lied to ya'll and made ya'll drink the kool-aid on Broner being a good "technical" fighter. I also don't know who lied to ya'll and made ya'll drink the kool-aid on Broner being a good defensive fighter. I'm not for triangle theories at all...but you already know what ima say as far as both fighters ability to adapt and adjust. If there's anything ya'll got right is the fact that Broner is significantly bigger. Broner is no tomato can, but he's hella overhyped in comparison to his counterparts. Gamboa by a very, very wide UD. I never claimed he was very technical or a good defensive fighter for that matter either. I just think he has more talent then Gamboa and has the mental edge plus he's hungrier. If he's anything like his idol he'll be at his best when the lights are the brightest.

C'mon fellas... Broner's defense is an optical illusion. The guy covers up, shoulder rolls, and still gets hit... He only tries to be like Mayweather. Salido shreds him up, Gamboa does too.

I'll take Gamboa by UD or some kind of stoppage late in the fight. I think he's faster on his feet as well as having a slight edge in handspeed. Also think he hits harder. And I just don't see Broner being the second coming of Sweet Pea or even PBF at this point. I'll grant that Gamboa seems to be closer to the end of his developmental curve than Broner, so in a year or two I might change my view. But for now, Gamboa is the man imo. Btw, it's such a great matchup it'll probably never happen. :sad:

Ahh, you see, these are the fights that should happen, but hardly ever gget made. Like Im not into the mma much but damn do they put together the fights people want to watch. If boxing did this again, I think the sport will get another wind and be the powerhouse it once was. Just too much recycling and building up fighters too easy...

Gamboa by KO in 8 rounds or less. I hope it happens but I doubt it will. They are bring Broner along slowly and carefully.
