Hopkins is going to lose to Dawson. Klits are heavyweights. They aren't in the p4p discussion. On topic: Not surprised. whatever. Floyd isn't #1 that's all i know. Says who? P4P is all about how fighters would match up if they were the same size, hence the phrase pound for pound. Its ridiculous to leave them out, and if you are then how the hell are you going to compare fighters with such massive difference in size such as, say Hopkins and Donaire?

Ofcourse. Who in there have the right to claim that they're number 1? Ortiz is ranked number 2 while f*ckin Berto is number 3. Shows you how weak the WW division has become after Pac cleaned the division. which Pac win made him the number 1 welterweight?

some people really are daft. floyd's wins only sound better because he wasn't in the rankings taking up a spot! ortiz wouldn't be ranked number 2 if floyd wasn't removed from the rankings. same with mosley. and when pac fought cotto, clottey, and mosley floyd was in the rankings taking up a spot even though he wasn't even fighting!

at welterweight Manny has two fights in two years vs Mosley and Clottey Floyd also two fights in 2 years vs Mosley and Ortiz so Floyd basically beat the #1 and #2 welterweights in two years while Manny beat a barely top 5 Clottey and Mosley how is Pacquiao still #1 at WW? However, Pacquiao has obliterated seven big-name opponents in the time Mayweather has done the same to three. Thus, there is no reason Mayweather should leap frog Pacquiao to the top. So it’s Pacquiao No. 1 and Mayweather No. 2 in the pound-for-pound ratings. Now on to the trickier question: What do we do about the welterweight division? Pacquiao and Mayweather have each had three welterweight fights over the past two years. Pacquiao has faced Miguel Cotto, Clottey and Mosley. Mayweather fought Juan Manuel Marquez, Mosley and Ortiz. Who faced stiffer competition? Cotto, Clottey and Mosley were rated Nos. 3, 5 and 3 by THE RING at the time they fought Pacquiao. Marquez, a beefed-lightweight, wasn’t rated at 147 pounds while a slightly better version of Mosley than Pacquiao faced and Ortiz were both rated No. 2 when they met Mayweather.
