Hang on....what's the point of boxing?
We are through the looking glass here.
If Taylor didn't chin him twice he wouldn't have won, lol.
Exactly! Had he dominated the entire fight or kod Ramirez then I’d give him his props. Ortiz shatters his body
Yep he even with biased judges. Always got to fight the judges in the US. On another note. WTF has happened to Mexican boxing? Canelo is carrying them. Where's all the top quality little guys gone?
What are you talking about? There are plenty of Mexican and Mexican American champions and prospects. They’ve basically cleaned up al the UL fighters they’ve faced, and they would’ve continued the streak had Ramirez not been robbed tonight.
Like you said Ramirez would? You were WRONG… :lol1:
Lol although Ramirez is a humble warrior, and he is a warrior as he showed yesterday, he is just missing the little extra dog in him. And yet still, he won more rounds than Taylor yesterday and was robbed of the fight. Nevertheless, Ortiz is just a whole other beast...he has that dog in him and the skills, power, and body punching that will make Taylor fold like a lawn chair.:boxing:
floyd best win against prime opponent.
1. baldomir
2. corrales
3. castillo
4. ortiz
5. guerrero
not bad as good as crawford resume.
Still pretty terrible tho.
Lmao it was an easy win for him and the excuses are coming already, and now people now people calling him Ramirez bum, embarrassing
Yeah so easy he ran the last three rounds like a bitch lmao. There was nothing easy about that fight...in fact even with the 2 KD I had Ramirez winning the fight.
Everything you stated in your first post, Josh Taylor does and did in his fight against Ramirez. Haney isn't dirty, he was hurt and he held. Taylor wasn't even hurt and did everything you consider dirty.
This is true too.
Everybody loves Estrada
You have some weird haters...like that terencebudcrawford fella.
I’d say Jose Ramirez....I’ve hardly read anyone say anything bad about him if at all. He embodies everything that is great about the sport and outside of the ring to.
I still don't get the long count stuff. Dude was on his feet well within 10. If he were nearly unconscious, he wouldn't have gotten up at all.
Too much exaggerating going on.
Exactly! And to that I would add, why wasn’t Taylor able to finish him? Either Ramirez wasn’t that hurt, or Taylor is a terrible finisher. If anything Ramirez should be praised for having the balls to get up and win most of the subsequent rounds.
Hell of a resume at 140:
Miguel Vazquez (former IBF lightweight world champion)
Viktor Postol (former WBC super lightweight world champion)
Ivan Baranchyk (reigning IBF super lightweight world champion)
Regis Prograis (reigning WBA (Super) super lightweight world champion)
Jose Carlos Ramirez (reigning unified WBC and WBO super lightweight world champion)
Undisputed WBA (Super), WBA, IBF, WBO, The Ring, Lineal Super Lightweight World Champion
World Boxing Super Series Tournament Champion
Doesn't get much more complete than that. Took out three reigning champs in the division, one former champ in the division, and one former champ one division down on his way to completely unifying 140.
What a trash resume filled with b & c level fighters lol
Stop trying to please the fans? Lmao Who df do you think pays for these events? People want to see action packed fights, not boring ass marathons or hugfests.
Why is he scum?
Have you not seen how he acts and how he acted towards Ramirez leading up to the fight, even though Ramirez was nothing but humble and respectful? Taylor is a dick and I can’t wait until he’s humbled.
I take it that you are not a fan of Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran then?
Theres nobody at 140 beating Taylor.
Correct. I am not fan of them. In fact, as a fan of Canelo I was completely turned off by how he acted towards Andrade. I happen to value the characters of the athletes I support.
You’re so delusional…
Bayless literally dragged your boy up from the canvas.
As I said, just accept you were WRONG and move on.
Why didn’t Taylor finish him tho? When someone beats the shit out of another or is superior to the fighter, they either finish him when they have them hurt or dominate the entire fight after having had hurt them. Why did Taylor run the rest of the fight? I’ll accept that I was wrong about the outcome, although I still think Ramirez was robbed, but will you also accept that it wasn’t a wipe out like you are making it out to be?
Why? Isn't there plenty of fighters at 147 for him to fight? Isn't he good enough to fight them?
Yes, but they all have engagements already, so why not feast on scummy Taylor?
:lol1: :lol1:
Taylor beat the sh** out of him. Bayless saved him twice.
Stay salty though man.
Ramirez had him running for deer life the last three rounds, never mind out boxing and outhustiling him the first 5-6 rnds lol. Why wasn’t Taylor able to finish him when he had him hurt?
Providing they all meet at 140 Does Taylor Beat them All?
Can he Defend Undisputed against honestly who wouldn’t want a shot?
Active Only:
Erol Spence
Mikey Garcia
Manny Pacquiao
Bud Crawford
Devin Haney
Tank Davis
Shakur Stevenson
Ryan Garcia
Lomachenko
Keith Thurman
Anyone 135-147
Who does or doesn’t beat him on the list? (Opinion).
He beats Mikey, Stevenson, Haney, Loma, and maybe Keith Thurman. The rest beat him, with Ortiz laying the most brutal beat down in him.
Why would Taylor who is undisputed at his weight want to fight a guy that hasn't even won a title? I think his sights will be a bit higher. Maybe if Ortiz ever makes it to that level Taylor will throw him a bone.
All I know is Ortiz eats him alive...I mean Ramirez got robbed because he didn’t have enough power to hurt josh (even though he had josh running for half of the fight lol), but Ortiz has the equalizer and would fold him in half :boxing:
