Is Canelo being routinely tested? Simple question. And if he is, is it by the same agency that is testing Plant?

These so called boxers should never have their fights televised. They are a complete disgrace to the sport

I was thinking, people on this forum always seem to have an almost cultish fascination with minority fighters that are not Mexican or black Americans. For example, Inoue, Hazegawa, Wangek, Choco, Matthyse, S. Martinez, LInares, Valero, GGG, Bivol, and all the Cubans. On the other hand, no matter how great Mexican or AA fighters are they are constantly criticized or hated on. Why is this?

When is the hypejob Inoue fighting someone who isn’t a bum?

I saw someone comment on Instagram how Ramirez could benefit from changing trainers. I had never thought about it, but the more I think about it the more I feel like that could be the case. I’m starting to think that RG isn’t as great as a trainer as he is made out to be, and I feel like fighters don’t really grow under him. I think someone like Joel Diaz would be a great fit for Ramirez, or of course Reynoso. Is there any other trainer out there y’all think would be a good fit for Ramirez? Or is Garcia the right trainer for him? Thoughts?

Ramirez arguably won the fight yesterday, and for sure he won at least 6 rounds. Nevertheless, whether you think he won or not, Ramirez fought his ass off and took it to Taylor in the early and late rounds. He was knocked down twice and was severely hurt, yet he got up like a warrior and fought on and despite being hurt won at least 4 of the last rounds. Why is there no appreciation for this humble warrior? Is it because he made Taylor, who was supposedly on another level, look ordinary and arguable beat him? I don’t get it. Ramirez represents everything that’s great about this sport, and he’s a great person outside of it, yet I hardly see any love for him. Yet on the other hand you have people praising people who are utter dicks and I don’t get it. Either way, Ramirez will be back stronger than ever and I look forward to seeing him show his skills and warrior spirit. :boxing:

Xavier Martinez is a bum. Burgos was robbed, and I can’t wait till he gets wrecked by a Mexican who is not over the hill.

That he’s a skilled warrior and is top 3 in the heavyweight division. Last night he gets knocked down and like a warrior gets back up and fights thru fire the first three rounds, and then proceeds to adjust and outbox his opponent. Arreola was in the best shape of his life and had one of the best trainers by his side who completely transformed him, and he has always ways been a dangerous foe, yet Ruiz toyed with him. This fight reinforces my belief that Ruiz is top three and would wreck wilder and probably beat AJ again. Fury would be a toss up but only because of the physical disparities, not because of skill or will.
