Castillo was defending his title, that used to mean something. But it was a close fight!Castillo clearly beat him in that fight. Castillo is an exception because he was robbed. Everyone else Fought a great fight but Floyd still beat them clearly.
They are not built like a fighter is supposed to be. True fighters are Russian and American.
Look at Tyson fury for example. He looks like a giant inbred bowling pin.
Stick to drinking tea and eating scones.
American heavyweights will always be betterAgreed. How do you see Joshua matching up with Wilder?
He isn't underrated, he isn't overrated either, he just happened to rifle towards Andre's right all night. Basically, he lasted the entire fight with a far inferior skill set because all he did was circle to Andre's right all nightWhat fight were you watching? Brand was whipping that ass until Ward switched. Get some glasses.
Absolutely - the sheer volume of quotes from Tyson Fury regarding homosexuality is becoming quite blatant.
He's openly a pitcher - maybe when he comes out of the closet, he'll speak about catching. He talks like a power top yet loves the idea of being surrounded by AJ and Wilder.....
He's being facetious, numbskull.
Funny one might think he could be facetious without being gay for once. Some things apparently just come naturally to him.
It's funny to me, now comparing the GGG-Brook fight is an insult to Marquez according to the Floyd fanboys. You guys have taken the fanboyism to a whole new level.
Dude I'm not excited about GGG-Brook and IMO eyes to just like when Floyd fought Marquez and if you can't see that then you are the true blind one and too much of a Floyd fanboy. It's absolutly nothing like Floyd-Marquez. On any level really. Nothing fanboy about it. It's apples and oranges. You can't see this because you know jack ***** about boxing.
If you are to blind to see the comparison I will for you. But I guarantee you will not agree with it because how can you when it's talking about Floyd.
First off when Floyd fought JMM, Floyd was the number one welterweight(don't give me the retirement thing, he was only out for a year and a half still the best), as is GGG the best middleweight. Floyd decided to fight JMM a lightweight who was the best in that division, and like Floyd, GGG is fighting a guy two weight classes below and a guy who is considered by lots of people the best at that weight.
So there it is Floyd the best welter is fighting the best lightweight and so GGG the best middleweight is fighting the best welterweight.
Got me?
Let's just hope GGG doesnt pull a Floyd and screw Brook on the scale as Floyd did to Marquez. Remember that one?You shouldn't be allowed here after comparing Kell Brook to JMM. Brook isn't the best WW either.
Golovkin has nothing to gain here. If he wins he beat a WW. If Brook manages to go the distance or even last late into the fight it doesn't look good for Golovkin. Brook really has nothing to lose aside from his "0" which I'm sure if he's signing to fight GGG he doesn't care about it anyway. He can hop right back down to WW like it never happened and be champion.
This fight will bring GGG to a god tier level fcking awesome the best ever boxer about and you know it, salty ass babies crying when lil Ward is fighting some dude who's best win is against a mother****ing pensioner?
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GGG = 1
Props to Kell Brook he is the king he can be second place in P4P rankings now.Yawn, beating a fairly untested WW isn't much to brag about. Yea, it doesn't make him special either. Are you 8 years old or something?
Well I'm pretty sure I posted the same thing about him beating smaller guys earlier in this thread but honestly Hopkins fought everyone from 160-175 that was out there.
Both Taylor fights could have went either way, Calzaghe was close, Dawson had his number I agree. Pavlick he schooled, Tarver he killed, he beat a bunch of guys at 175... The guy is a legend but I guess you get more credit for beating washed up names then fighting a bunch of really good fighters in their prime and losing a few here and there nowadays.

He didn't beat a "Bunch" of guys at 175. He beat a few decent fighters but the best owned him at 160 and 175. You cannot deny that. You also can't deny 2 of his biggest wins as a middleweight were against welterweights(DLH, Tito).
So stop defending the guy. Makes you look beyond remedial. He's a joke that was never the elite of any division. His Middleweight reign made Joe Calzaghe's look daring by comparison.
Even-though he's a world-class operator, Lara's career is in such a pathetic state of affairs. He won't fight the Charlo twins, Andrade doesn't seem keen on fighting him, and he's holding out on a GGG fight that will never come.To be fair they don't want Lara. Lara doesn't duck anyone. Can anybody blame Lara for wanting GGG? Historically Lara has always gone after fighters nobody wants to fight. Anyone remember Paul Williams?
He went to 175 and beat the piss out of Tarver. He didn't get big until he fought the good WW in Tito and Oscar but he then moved up and fought the best. Hopkins is a legendReally if Tarver is your claim to fame you're not a legend. Truth of the matter is a majority of his career was spent beating smaller fighters. Anyone his size with skill handed him his ass Tarver was an exception(a guy that made his name by beating one man, Roy Jones Jr.) Chad Dawson, Jermain Taylor, Roy Jones Jr ring any bells?
Narrowly escaping defeat against Porter to hide out in the UK fighting Kevin Biziers of the world doesn't make you the best Welterweight.
With that being said GGG doesn't even have a Porter level fighter on his resume.
Yea you're right. I loved watching the demolition of future Hall of Famer Kevin Bizier. That one really sold me Brook. An excellent way to prepare for GGG. I'd be shocked if GGG made it to the 6th round really. After that why not Joshua? Slight height advantage but I'd say power is even. How do you see that historic matchup playing out?
Unless you're a die hard you don't know who the fck these people are....Meanwhile Showtime is giving us 3 or 4 nights a week on cable. HBO really has hit the *****house
The only thing Brook has that's possibly better is th jab.
I guess if he could somehow manage to stick and move that would be his best bet. But GGG is extremely skillful.
With Khan there was a way you could invisage him win. With Brook there's not IMO.
Brook might die in the ring.
