I'm still confused why Pacquio is running for office. I respect his decision to do whatever he wants, but hes still young and peakin in his prime, Now is when he can $CASH$ in on his natural born talent in boxing. In 5 years from now, hell have the rest of his life to run for office and dedicate 100% of his time into it. I think the Filipino people would agree too. I think right now, they'd rather have him be a hero in the ring then in a congress seat.
Yea thats weird to me. If pacquio will fight Yuri in March, why not just fight Mayweather? I like Roach alot, but I think the Pacquio team is flip flopping. I hope they can agree to fight first half of 2010. People bash Mayweather for ducking, but hes at least been all in since he getgo w/ this fight.

I read Teddys Book. Supposedly he was dating his future wife at the time, and the female Mike supposidly forced himself on was a relative of Teddys Girl. I can see the story bein a bit scew'd, but Tyson being that young, I can totally see him being the guilty one. So I'd have to go with Teddy on this one.
In general though, even w/ that said, Ive been a Tyson fan. Dude has had a rollercoaster life & is still probably the most recent heavyweight boxing STAR. I'm excited to see this movie, hopefully its readily avalable to see.

I think he has speed advantage on most fighters, just not Khan. Khan made him look slow. Lamont also has SMARTS advantage, which most fighters dont have. He knew to attack body constantly. Very close fight. I think Karma took this one
funny how the refs gloves matched petersons trunks right? haha but seriously. I wish Peterson went all out in the 12th, then I would of had him winning. Instead I have it a draw, because i feel this fight was unfinished.
I do think Khan is a real good fighter, but dont see him being able to win verse flyod at all. At most, I think he could maybe win 2-3 rounds, similar to how Zab did. But people really underestimate Flyods inside game, he would be rollin Khans punches all day and countering when it counts. As the Peterson fight went on, Khans punches turned pretty soft. Still fast, but no pop. Mayweather would start getting more ballsy in the later rounds, ala ricky hatton, and possibly knock Khan out IMO
Not sure if this was mentioned, but I dislike him because he really didn't fight very long. Look at his final record 36-3-1, when Duran won over a hundrend fights. I hate the pitty patter style...and something that makes me laugh is he got KO'd by Hector Macho Camacho....Come on Sugar Ray no matter what age you can't get KO'd by that guy. haha
I actually voted for mayweather, because I hate de la hoya, and I really want to see DLH flat on his ass (althou i bet it will be a boring 12 round dec) But I do recognize he is why 80% of people are buying this fight...de la hoya is more known, even thou mayweather is the better boxer.

Lets not get Crazy, DHL is not a legend. He's a superstar boxing figure but not a legend. Mayweather is on his way, but even if he beats DHL and Mosley I still won't say he's legend. He needs to fight more NOW fighters, fighters who arn't getting rusty but are hungry. Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, & Williams. If he can take out two of them then He'll be a Legend.

Maybe you didn't read my post correctly. Most of the international boxing media is based in the states! plus Britain is small. Thats like only fighting fighters from Massachusetts & New Hampshire. I'm not saying thats bad, I'm just saying there keeping themselves from gaining international respect & noteterity. Plus, generally speaking US fighters would travel to try and get titles, most recently Lacy, Ruiz, Manfrado, Holyfield, etc... Most Lost, but at least they took the flight to chase there dreams. There's one thing being comfortable were you are & another thing wanting to be considered a great.
Number One, our country (america) is fixated on trying to have the next heavyweight champion be here from the states. Plus America controls most of the boxing media coverage. I personally think Russian Fighters get less credit then British Fighters. One thing about British fighters thou is besides the Lennox Lewis's, most fight in there own country never expanding themselves to go international and show the rest of the world there good or not. You can't just beat up Todd down the street for the rest of your life, if you want to be legendary. yah feel me
You guys really need to watch the Tito / ODHL fight again, ON MUTE. Watch it like that Please. Jim Lampley (and he did this in the Mayweather fight to) Is a De La Hoya Dick Rider. He always makes more of De La Hoya's lil bitch punches then they really are. Numerous times he says, He nailed Tito witha devistating left hook, when they didn't even touch Tito. Seriouslly WATCH IT ON MUTE!!!
How can you compare one to the other? De La Hoya has never been dominated by anyone in his entire career and a lot of people thought he just beat Mayweather, the current top pound for pound fighter in the world. In the worst case scenario, De La Hoya lost 5-7 to Floyd. Trinidad has fought three time sinces 2002. De La Hoya has fought 7 times since 2002 and he barely fights once per year.
How many fights has De La have in the last few years? How Old is he? Not dominated, didn't Bhop beat De La's Ass? Look at De La's resume, he fought the fighters Tito already beat up. I laughed at that Myorga come back, all De la had to do was watch what Tito did to him before. You guys are suckered into the mass media Image of De La and its kinda sad.
