It was not the injury which effected his performance, it was the injections and..? he underestimated how athletic Wladimir Kiltschko was...
The injections he was talking where numbing agents/anti inflammatory, and if you inject too much of these..? you muscles functioning will be effected...
He complained that his leg felt numb...
The game plan was to ambush Wladimir Kiltschlo with 2 phase attacks, David Haye was doing everything perfect accept following up with the 2 phase of attack...
He would nullify Wladimir Kiltschko's offense and then ambush = That is phase 1, now he has Wladimir Kiltschko backing up or grabbing and holding....
This....IS WHERE Adam Booth planned on the Second Phase of attack! but for some reason David Haye never implemented the attack....
He would just ether back off, or get tied up on the inside...
And the whole night basically went on and on like that, anybody that knows boxing knows! that technically David Haye and Wladimir Kiltschko both nullified each other!
I think if they ever have a rematch David Haye will be committed more to the second phase of attack! against slower heavyweights his first wave of attack 95% of the time is causing serious damage! against Wladimir Kiltschko you need Two phase attacks....
Note: I have not made this up, i am from England and have seen numerous interviews where Adam Booth explained the 2 phase attack! David Haye was not beaten up, he just failed to implement the 2 phase of attack!
Khan is punch grab, punch hold your head down. If anyone is overrated, it's Khan. He's the one who has been overrated for years. He beat an old Collazo, lmao, and that is looked upon as better than when Shane and Hatton beat him. That's the logic of todays fan boy. Even if that where true, so what.
All 3 beat Collazo, it's just that Khan fought an older Collazo.
Talk about overrated, lmao.
Amir Khan can throw combinations at speeds, Floyd Mayweather has never seen! If Amir Khan has Danny Garcia type of power! he would be avoided badly! his offense in terms of output is probably better than Mayweather at this point in their careers.....
Floyd Mayweather is one dimensional offensively, and nobody seems to own up to this. He struggles to throw combinations, he needs time to get his shot off! none of it is automatic....
Khan at this point in his career probably has better movement than Mayweather aswell....
Mayweather really needs to work on his offense, because fighters who are dedicated to working can win rounds! because nothing of any note or bad intentions is coming back at them...
Mayweather fights as if he is a big puncher, with all these single shots! he's not David Haye or Wladimir Kiltschko!
I think Amir Khan beats him...
"He did not drop a round to Collazo, the fact of the matter is nobody has beaten Collazo like that since Mosley! the fact of the matter is, it was a 50/50 fight and Collazo was coming off good performances"....
Amir Khan also throws punches, how many punches did Mayweather throw the other night 400+..?
He's got the workrate of a morbidly obese pre diabetic fighter.
The fact of the matter is, Amir Khan has a intense offensive game! he puts his punches together in punches at incredible speed, also his movement in my opinion is probably faster! than Mayweathers! and with Virgil Hunters training, his physical skills will become more intellectual.
I am not trying to make out that Amir Khan is the second coming, i am just stating the fact that he is a stylistic challenge and possible nightmare for Floyd Mayweather.....
Floyd Mayweather is no David Haye, he's not really going to stop even Amir Khan in his tracks with single shots...
"That is why Mayweather needs to work on his offense, people need to own up to the facts that it is limited! even Floyd Mayweather senior has stated this is his own subtle and descriptive way"....
I think Mayweather will have a hard time landing on Khan, he may land one shot but he won't really be able to follow it up!
Khan has taken big shots of bigger punchers than Mayweather! and Khan may get buzzed but he always fires back....
I think the fight may happen in September...
This thread is a troll thread. Amir khan is a car window. Mayweather is the guy that shatters the car window with his fist and down the window goes. Down Goes Khan.
Khan is horrible. He fights like klitschko and he looks even worse than klitschko when he does it.
Mayweather fights more like Kiltschko...
"Single shots and then he moves or grabs hold"....
Amir Khan puts punches together in bunches, he does allot of work offensively!
Wladimir Kiltschko is a big puncher, he does not need to put his punches together in bunches! Floyd Mayweather fights as if he is David Haye, or somebody with serious offensive destructiveness...
Floyd Mayweather Senior, has stated that he needs to put his punches together! and work on this area of his game in training more!!
I think Khan would look good against Thurman (given Thurman's movement deficiencies) until he gets caught / clipped sometime after the 4th (if it happens at all). Porter would be interesting but a lot would depend on how a rough around the edges Porter, and the ref, deals with a disciplined Khan hitting then holding (or staying on his bike). Developmentally it would be a good step for both Thurman and Porter.
Mayweather has just struggled against a Amir Khan victim called Marcus Maidana...."It was a close fight, and not a conclusive win for Mayweather at all".....
Amir Khan decked Maidana and beat him more convincingly than Mayweather!!
Mayweather struggled to put his punches together and was crying all night.
Another stupid analogy he made is that the scoring in pro vs amateur isn't that different when you are talking about TARGETING.
In the amateurs you need gloves with a white front on them to show where the glove needs to land for a scoring blow.
In the pro's you don't have that white mark, but the target is the same. Landing a punch with the side of the glove, or back of the glove is illegal.
The same way landing a shot to the back of the head, or below the belly button is illegal.
If you hit arms, shoulders, hips, forearms it hurts and can be used as a strategic aspect of the trainer, but it does not count as a scoring blow.
This place is full of retards, they should stop watching boxing and go watch the UFC where you can fly off the side of the cage and kick someone in the side of the head.
Listen...
I am from Liverpool City...
If i want to see a fight, i will walk outside....
"People know how to score a fight through human intuition, its basic instinct. But throughout the years all these upper-class butter wouldn't melt individuals are playing with your minds, punch statistics are aload of nonsense in the professional game"....
The amateur game is a game of tick..
The professional game is violence, there is a point in every professional boxing where it becomes a fight.
"Body shots, hitting arms, pushing the boundaries of gamesmanship"....this all counts, but the amateur game they will be over looked.....
The fact of the matter Floyd Mayweather needs to go to work, and i think he will back in the gym this week. He turned up on Saturday night thinking it was the amateur game, and he and his whole camp got a taste of professional violence....
Its time to go to work..
Don't count on it Cotto is a 9 round fighter
I am favoring Sergio Martinez, i am just merely speculating...
I think it has taken massive balls for Cotto to take this fight!
But i have a feeling that it is a calculated decision.
The same reason why he could not do it against Hatton, Maidana's footspeed and ability to cut off the ring was decent! not as good as Hattons! But Maidana did not smother his own inside work as much as Hatton!
"If you can move forward faster than Mayweather can move backwards and sideways, one of his biggest defensive weapons is neutralized"...
37 posts in 8 years? something tells me people didn't miss you as much as you think
PS. I hear EEG brain scans aren't as expensive as they used to be, look into that Prima. I think your screws may be coming loose.
It took me 8 years to make my first post....
8 years in waiting!
Welcome to boxing scene!
Lets go to work!
Impulse = Force / Area...
Amir Khan's power is ok, when he stands his ground and punches properly...
But at times in my opinion he still thinks he is fighting in the Olympics, sometimes in my Opinion he favors those short spitfire punches.....
"Which do score him points, but they don't have the power behind them compared to when he throws proper mechanical punches....."
There was a point in the Collazo fight, when Collazo thought he had him hurt! and Amir Khan reverted by the instincts and throw a 1-2, and the right hand stopped Collazo in his tracks....
Amir Khan's body punching is A-1, and the power he seems to get into them is decent....
Just imagine if Amir Khan had Danny Garcia type power, he would probably win most of his fights by KO......Collazo would probably be retired....
Then I suggest you watch some football and stop watching boxing because you clearly don't understand the sport.
Again, you can argue that Maidana did more damage, that's fine. The pro's is about doing damage when you compare it to the amateurs but that doesn't mean every boxing match has to be a street fight.
Boxing is a skill, it's the sweet science. It's about defense and offense, hitting and not getting hit. Floyd didn't get hit as much as you would like to think. He boxed beautifully and countered well in the later rounds.
If you want to talk about scoring, you are completely wrong and don't know much about the sport. Hitting areas that are not targets under the rules DO NOT COUNT.
They hurt, but they don't count. I can't punch you 2,000 times in the elbow and think I won the fight, but I didn't.
Stop trolling and sit back, drink a pint, eat some fish and chips and watch footy because in the words of Roger Mayweather, "You don't know sh1t about boxing!"
Floyd Mayweather got hit, why are you lying to yourself...?
And here you go again, with all the play on words that have been imprinted on your kind through the media. Floyd Mayweather got hit, he got roughed up if you have a problem with that i suggest you go and watch some amateur boxing....
"Yes it is a science, a rough science!"......
Even Bernard Hopkins knows this, it seems like Floyd Mayweather has his whole manipulated fanbase has forgotten...
You are spending too much time on your pink iphone, listening to Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber......did i spell his name wrong..?
Guess what..? I don't care..
Stop trolling..? i have been a member here for 8 years, how long have you been a member for..? I have kept people waiting for 8 years, and now i am back!
This is professional boxing, and there are many areas to the game. The sweet science, and the rough science! and the gamesmanship......
Floyd Mayweather Senior has already highlighted things he has seen, and that deep down he is not happy with...
Its time to go to work!
thank you. It's always the posters who complain the loudest that don't know how the judges are required to score a fight.
Ohhh and boxing judges get it so right every time.
Mug.
He has just struggled with a fighter who was picked and being set up for a stoppage win or one sided stylistic beat down....
"And he struggled badly with this fighter"....
Maidana was picked because to the casual fans he looks like a killer, but stylistically boxing fans across the board predicted a easy fight! when you start struggling with stylistic fights where you have the advantage! Its a poor performance....
I give Mayweather a C- it was not conclusive win at all, and he was hit and rough up and out worked by Maidana....
I think it was a poor performance offensively, and what i am saying has basically been repeated by Floyd Mayweather Senior. Mayweather needs to do more offensively, he needs to stop being one dimensional and put his punches together.
i just dont understand why people who claim to be boxing fans trash any style they dont like, i dont like brawling but i respect it, i understand their are different styles to boxing and not everybody fights the same i appreciate all styles, one guy even went as far as saying when floyd ducks a punch its a biyyyatch move.... its just a stupid logic when a fighter is a biyyyatch for moving when the glove is coming his way or running when hes using the ring and a strategy to throw his opponent off
Who's talking about brawling..?
Was Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Junior, even Mike Tyson & Evander Holyfield....brawlers..? No!
They just weren't one dimensional offensively like Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd Mayweather is not the first fighter in history to avoid a punch all those guys up above at great defense at the top of their game, aswell as a vast offense! Mayweather's offense does not match up to his defense!
The pound for pound rankings are aload of nonsense, and are basis towards smaller weight classes....
David Haye when he was WBA heavyweight champion, and former Cruiser weight Champion! beating guys at heavyweight out weighing him by a average of 203 stone! should of been in the top 10 pound for pound rankings...
But he wasn't because, he is not a welterweight...
The pound for pound rankings are aload of nonsense and are based off nothing, but popularity, and media nonsense....
Roy Jones was the last pound for pound number 1, that went above and beyond to claim it out right!
Ban incoming in 3...2...1
Why..? because i am raising good points and leaving everybody speechless....
Maidana was set up for a stoppage, Mayweather was talking about stopping the guy...
But he got inside the ring and his "One dimensional offense let him down"...
Floyd Mayweather Senior has stated recently, that Mayweather needs to put his punches together. He has those single shots, and very rarely creates anything else off them shots! great offensive fighters have 2 phase attacks....."Not one phase attacks"....
Damn another alt.
I am nobodies alt
I am currently honoring a 2 month ban from my normal dwelling of ***************.....i was not banned officially, but i am honoring my word.
I stumbled across this website, and i am impressed by the actually boxing talk on here. Compared to my normal dwelling it seems far superior in those aspects, i have become tiresome with my normal dwelling and needed a change....
I am impressed.
Broner does need to start thinking before he speaks like, i think militant black men like Bernard Hopkins are annoyed with him.....
Back in the 1960's black people carried themselves with more dignity....
He is immature and will learn from his mistakes hopefully...
I think he just gets stimulated by the media, and it energizes him to say certain things and go mental!
Amir Khan could throw 800 punches in 12 rounds easy, 800 punches of punches in bunches....
That's what you need to do, to stop Maidana in his tracks...
Not throw 400 single shots and 1-2's like Mayweather!
Amir Khan beat Maidana more conclusively than Mayweather!
No....
Joe Calzaghe fought and beat more former world champions, or fighters who went on to become World Champion...
Its a myth that he did not face good opponents, he has better wins that Carl Froch across the board!
Over proven fighters!
mayweather is only effective from midrange. take that away and he cracks under pressure. the guy has no inside game and just clinches for dear life. defense alone can't win fights. maidana won. 43-3 baby

I agree...
I am not sure why people can't be real with themselves, Mayweather is not a great offensive fighter and i think his offensive has decreased in effectiveness in his last few fights....
"I think he is one dimensional, does nothing outside of single shots, if you want to talk about power..? i think that is limited aswell. For a fighter that is so intelligent, you would think he would understand to put his punches together to stop guys like Maidana in there tracks! But the fact of the matter is he did not do this, because in my opinion he does not have the ability to do so"....
"Amir Khan is not a big puncher, and he put his punches together both head and to body creatively, and he hurt Maidana more times than Mayweather did, and he dropped him! Mayweather never once hurt him or stopped him in his tracks"....
