so after watching their first fight again and watching madiana over the weekend i just cant see how he beat amir. he would have trouble with the movement just like he had in the first fight but now when he gets in close amir would clinch and pull down on his head to sapp his strength. amir is still quicker, has the better jab, better movement and is nice body puncher.
if they have rematch im picking amir
In order for Khan to give Maidana this terrible beating and knock him out with his vicious body punches he has to sign a contract and get in the same ring with Maidana. I don't think Khan will ever do that.
It's more likely that Maidana would avoid Khan, just like he avoided Thurman. He's already been soundly beaten by Khan and he wouldn't stand much of chance to do any better in a rematch.
Khan can surely outbox Maidana to a UD (for a second time).
I don't see these major improvements from Maidana. Better conditioning, and maybe now he has a vague notion of what a jab is. But that's about it.
Khan though has to fight an intelligent fight in order to win, and Amir cannot always balance caution and volume.

he he glass jaw vs glass body you guys are funny...
IMHO it is good viewing as one hit could actually change the outcome of the fight and this go both ways...
lol the version of maidana wasn't even training for fights. as angel garcia put it, maidana was fighting little kids in puerto rico doing 3 rounds.
khan was taking punishment alll fight and was literally runnin gfor three rounds. i loved how he would shake his head to maidana like your not hurting me, maidana wuold smack him and he would run. he's a real cunt.
Amir Khan could throw 800 punches in 12 rounds easy, 800 punches of punches in bunches....
That's what you need to do, to stop Maidana in his tracks...
Not throw 400 single shots and 1-2's like Mayweather!
Amir Khan beat Maidana more conclusively than Mayweather!
khan would KO maidana.
maidna is great if he leads, and sets first.
however when he is hit, he does not like it at all and settles into a passaive mode. even broner made him back off by tagging him
khan has the speed and power to hit you, so he will again win plety of rouns.
heck i think khan hurts him to the body even moreThere must be two different Maidanas. The one you are talking about and the one I have been watching. The Maidana I have seen has the heart of a lion and he doesn't have a passive mode. He doesn't mind taking punches to get his own punches in. He always takes the fight to the opponent and throws from 800 to 900 hard punches every fight. He didn't get one of the best knock out percentages of the top pros by being passive and backing off. In the Broner fight he averaged 80 punches a round to 30 punches a round for Broner.

Says the man from LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND.
The first fight was not the least bit easy for Khan. He only won by a point or two and likely would have been knocked out without such an interfering referee who kept breaking them when they weren't tied up to give Khan extra recovery time. Maidana has improved very much since then and Khan has been knocked out again and seems to be a lesser fighter than he was when he fought Maidana. Maidana has asked Khan for a rematch many times over the last few years and Khan always refuses. Gee, I wonder why? Anyway, regardless of what you think, Maidana is a higher ranking welterweight than Khan now, as he deserves to be.
khan will knock maidnaa out for good this time around
his bodypunches look even more devastating
maidana was saved by the bell last time around
and i noted floyd hit maidana with a hook to the body and you cud see the pain in maidanas face and he den ran on the backfoot, i'll have to make a gif of the particular punch, think it was in round 6
i am surprised floyd didnt work that body as much
khan wud go to work on maidans glass body from round 1 and onwards
khan is throwing punches way more harder, and maidans glass body is still the same, there to be hit
khans body punches are so underrated
Glass Body vs Glass Chin :boxing::boxing:
Maidana stops Khan this time around. Khan got lucky GBP paid Collazo to take a nap instead of trying to win the fight. They also paid off the ref just in case Collazo decided to put in an honest effort. Khan still left the ring with a battered face.
How did you score Pacquiao-Bradley 1? :bottle:
Is basically a few fights ago this guy was knocked out. Am I the only one that thinks khan is finished and he is talking his way into a retirement fight with mayweather ? I mean after he got knocked out he is being protected with bums to preserve the little name value he has. Wake me up when he fights someone with a pulse.

The reason he had no jab against khan was because the speed difference was too fast and he'd get beaten to the punch every single time. Khan won the fight with movement. He'd probably win the rematch on movement too
The reason he had no jab is because he wasn't calculated and barreled forward. Khan was allowed to run and didn't have to stand put at all and judge Maidana was doing.
No dount Maidana has improved, but after the Collazo fight it's obvious so has Khan. This time Khan will Andre Ward his way to a more decisive win and you'll keep crying about the clinches.
Also the fact Khan is punching harder and did well on the body vs Collazo is a factor to consider and remember what happened in Round 1 the first time around? Yup it was a body shot. Maidana perhaps isn't even getting up this time.
