This is why a lot of people hate Manny because people make him out to be what he is not. He has just been strategically marketed over the last 4 years to be this fighting machine. You do realize that the guy in your avatar believed this. That's why he asked for the tests.
the greatest brawler of all time gave up when he fought a slick fighter for the first time lmaoUm, Duran beat Leonard when they fought the first time. The No Mas fight is their second fight.
where have you been everyone knows shes the same one that robbed pac man even mayweather mentioned it
even floyd mayweather mentioned this.Is there a video of this or an article?
Funny thing they failed to mention is all those fighters that got ko'd was getting s/c from ariza lol. So maybe the famous shake doesn't work after all.Out of the four, only Linares was TKO'ed not KO'ed with Ariza. Senchenko was using Marvin Somodio as the S&C, with Khan it was with Ruben Tabares, Pacquiao did not do any S&C with Ariza.
BTW, Pac asked for drug testing because at the time Rios was with Angel Heredia.
Canelo?
They basically did the same thing, yet mayweather is praised but rigo is crucified.Wrong. Floyd and Rigo didn't do the same thing. Rigo waited until Donaire threw something to create some type of offense. Because Donaire barely threw anything, it was a boring fight.
Floyd, on the other hand, fought off his jab and would box Canelo into corners with 1-2s. He would at times instigate the offense when Canelo wasn't throwing.
Floyd showed another dimension to his offense while Rigo just countered all night.
And I'm saying this as someone who dislikes Mayweather.
Danny Garcia belongs on the list. Alvarez does not.I agree. Canelo didn't belong on the list in the first place. Danny earned it with the decisive win over Matthysse.
evertime a decision don`t go the way some people felt it should go(or wanted it to go).Al Haymon is a manager, he don`t have as much control of a fight as a promoter do.Both Gabe Rosado and Kid Chocolate are signed to Goldenboy.Goldenboy have far more control of a fight then Haymon does.In the Ishe Smith/Carlos Molina fight,Molina won a disputed decision, and that was fought on a Mayweather Promotions/Goldenboy Promotions fight where Al Haymon is the business adviser to Floyd.Badou Jack-whose on Mayweather promotions-got a draw against Marco Antonio Periban and most people-including myself-felt that Badou Jack deserved the decision.I thought Gabe was signed with Russell Peltz?
I agree that Pacquiao landed the better shots and deserved the win, but based off of last night I think Bradley could handle Pacquiao better next time, or he could get KO'ed from trying to trade.I wonder how Bradley would take a whole assed Pacquiao being that Pacquiao fought half assed when they last fought. It's like Pac didn't give a shit during that fight. At least he was trying to knock out Mosley in their fight.
WRONG.
BHop.
WRONG.
SRL and SRR were far from being boring. They were incredibly slick but also exciting. Both used head and body movement to deflect punches while delivering destructive combinations. And when they knew they had someone on the line, they went for the kill.
Ellie was my boy thougth he was gonna move onto bigger and better things BUT now hes still on youtube and now completely turning his back on Pacquiao afer the exposure he got from Pacs fame/videos.
Now he riding Rios now, and acting like he wasnt a pac fan before.
Its great Pacquiao lost, because that is when you see who your true fans are.Elie used to a HUGE Pac dickrider. And when I mean huge, I mean to the max. Pac used to even invite Elie to play basketball, eat lunch and dinner with him at the Thai restaurant, and to his prayer meetings!
I love how the guy in the ring immediately called out Elie for riding Brandon's nuts in Oxnard.
This is the best interview of Floyd in a LONG time.Stern tends to do that. I used to dislike the guy when I was younger, but his interviews with artist David Choe and Rich Cronin from the boy band LFO are awesome.
I've heard that these numbers actually beat the numbers for UFC 166, which was the third hyped fight between Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez. And they said that UFC is taking over boxing? Yeah freaking right.
It was a close fight, but I can definitely see Chavez just pulling it out. I didn't get the chance to score it though. But this was no robbery.True but that 98-92 scorecard for Chavez. WTF.
Damn I can't stand EllieI can't stand the guy either. I used to like his videos but when he blamed HBO for stealing material I stopped watching. He believes he's all that as a journalist but all he is a guy with a camera asking some of the stupidest boxing questions. He's also fickle as all hell when it comes to boxers. Sorry Elie but not every boxer is a boxing "star".
The problem was that VADA intentionally did not release the positive results to the Neveda commission, Golden Boy, nor Team Khan. They released the result at the last minute, and it was only Peterson who knew about his positive for over a month.
That incident was a mistake by VADA, and that's ok because they were new to random testing, especially in boxing. But people think VADA has been flawless which is not the case at all.VADA also changed the way they handled results because of the Khan/Peterson debacle.
It's weird though that Ward is refusing testing. Even Pac of all people is testing through VADA now.
This is why the fighters of today can't hang with the fighters of the 80s and earlier. Too much hand holding, complaining, advantages, bitching going on.
