Not even or toughman would be popular. UFC is was more violent before the Unified rules. Nope, UFC is a cleverly marketed product that picked up the trash franbase that went from pro wrestling to poker now onto this fad.

Put it this way......MMA is a lot closer to real ONE ON ONE FIGHTING than boxing....i am a fan of both...
BTW, a top MMA fighter will most likely win a top Boxer in the same weight...
Fighting in reality is not going to be pretty and fanciful like in the movies..... whatever works best in combat is not always pretty...

I love the atmosphere of a boxing gym.... i like to train like a boxer.. but MMA deserves respect too....
hmmm....die hard boxing fans will always support boxing and vice vesa. But if you put mma fighter vs a boxer in a real fight..... who will you bet your money on??? Boxers are BOXers, not fighters. By the way, i like both sports
^^^Yeah look at Georges St Pierre for instance. The guy has fought nothing but top 10 guys in the UFC without getting one can in between. Thats why having a stellar record in MMA is very hard compared to boxing.

In MMA, 15-0 is a VERY good record
in boxing, there are many 3rd tier boxers with that record early in their careers beating bums.
As expected hardcore boxing fans will always hate on UFC, always claiming fake numbers etc. So what is stopping boxing from inflating their numbers too?? I will leave it as that.
UFC 101 was not a great card (only above average) and no doubt it got some momentum and new fans from UFC 100.
UFC 103 in sept however will not get 1 million as the card is not very good. even 700k will be a surprise...
But as you know, the UFC got a PPV almost every month.
I wonder if they inflate their numbers, I know nobody who cares about MMA.
