RA - Well I think the people that pay attention to the sport can see through it easily. If they pay attention to what really goes on to the history of the sport like no fighter in the history of the sport never had to go through all of these demands before. Nobody ever had to take these blood tests like this- this amount. No fighter had to ever deal with this before. In the history of boxing, Trinidad and Dela Hoya didn't have to do it. Lewis-Tyson didn't have to do it. Manny Pacquiao's 50 other something opponents didn't have to do it. Mayweather's 40 other opponents didn't have to do it. So if you follow the sport, this is just like Floyd ducking and dodging tactics, trying to get into Pacquiao's head and discredit him. People that pay attention to the sport can see through it. BUT the mainstream media will go 'Oh it's a simple test. Why don't Manny just take the test?' They don't understand that you gotta get blood drawn out of you 48 hours before the fight and outside your will and disruptive of the training camp when 'Who the fcK is Floyd Mayweahter?' Is he supposed to be the commission? He's not the commission. He's just another fighter. So why should the champion- Pacquiao- have to do whatever Mayweather's people say he has to do? So if I'm Pacquiao, Imma say F*** off to these guys too. BUT the mainstream media will go 'Well if he has nothing to hide then why just not take the test?' It's not just a test. He's willing to take blood right the second he finishes the fight. The minute after he finishes the fight against Mayweather he's willing to take the test in his locker room. He's willing to take blood (tests) two other times. He's willing to take urine (tests) at will. The man is willing to take 3 blood tests. Now if that's not good enough, then Manny fights somebody else or Mayweather go fight somebody else..." "You know what's funny? When this fight was moving forward supposedly around a month ago, a lot of my friends were going, you know RA, Floyd's not gonna fight Pac Man. The way he walked through Cotto's shots, he's not gonna fight Pac Man"

It was obvious from what he said to Floyd he knew what he was talking about, more than half the people on this forum in fact! I am not questioning his knowledge. Some stuff that he said, I have said and agreed with. I am pretty sure he is a fan. And, he probably has great knowledge of boxing and his history. But, really after 1 damn interview. People act like his opinion matter. Nobody was asking him boxing related questions before that interview. And, every single time he has an interview or there is an article Floyd name pops up. I heard him say that Hopkins is his favorite fighter. That is great why not talk more about him and stop talking about Floyd. I am sorry casual knows the deal about Floyd and Pac. So talking about Floyd does not impress me. Prove to me you have some knowledge. By doing 1 interview 1 article that does not mentioned Floyd. Floyd is not the only boxing related topic out there for him to keep talking about. Until he has one interview one article that does not mentioned Floyd at all. I won't give a damn what his opinion is. That will show me that he is the same as 95% of the posters out here.

Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that RA all of a sudden became a boxing expert? Like I didn't even know he was a fan of boxing until he had that argument wit Floyd on the radio. Dude came out of nowhere. And, now everybody is asking his opinion on boxing related issues. It was obvious from what he said to Floyd he knew what he was talking about, more than half the people on this forum in fact!

RA is totally right though. I mean, it's exactly what Floyd is doing. I wouldn't take the blood tests either. It would piss me off that somebody is forcing me to do it to get inside my head and because they don't trust me. I had a strong feeling Floyd would duck Manny to. I just can't see Floyd taking such a tough fight.

Nursery teachers dont need severe tests everyday of their working lives to prove they arent pedos do they? I think as long as they havent got previous convictions of child tampering they should be ok and trusted. So why isnt Pac not having failed any tests enough for floyd and his flomos? It would be easy to doubt the honourablity of people who work with children wouldnt it? But they arent subjected to being wired up, with graphic scenes of child porn displayed to test them are they? That would be too severe woulndt it be? So is subjecting Pac to the highest tests when he has passed every test, and just because floyd wants him to. Even non pedos with nothing to hide wouldnt want severe tests even though they are innocent. Its still worrying to take them in any case. Pac dont need worrying disruptions so close to a fight. Making movies is not worrying btw PBF thinks he is royalty and is so self indulgent, thinking he can ask Pac olympic testing whens hes been test consistently for so long. In regards to your question, do you know for a fact that all fights from here on out are going to require more strenuous testing? I'm not against it for the sport at all, but do you really think its going to be for all fights? Where is the testing for Berto Shane? But since you've cared so much about better testing, why wait until now to demand it? Cheats have been caught all decade long. Not a single issue has been raised about better testing until now? Some get caught and some dont, however just because some DO get caught doesnt prove that your testing is the best out there. Its a known proven fact that the olympics and cycling have the best, most thorough testing procedures. They miss people too, but they know that blood and urine tests are the way to go. Its just the science behind it. I never claimed that from now on every fight would have it. Where did you get that idea? My point is, a boxer is within his rights to ask for the best testing procedure out there to ensure that he is on a level playing field. Why? Because its his health thats on the line. Its the same logic behind having someone from your corner checking your opponents wraps. Why do YOU want to deny a boxer this right? And to be clear, blood tests are exactly torture sessions. Athletes all over the world have to deal with random blood testing. It hasnt ruined any careers so far. Hasnt put anyone on IR from what I can tell.

Yes, asking the champ to come down in weight to fight for his title cheapens the fights. No matter who it is. I think that if you cant beat the Champ at his best then you dont deserve his belts. And yes, Pac would have beat Cotto at 147 as well. But thats how I feel about the weights. It is just a fact that urine tests arent as good and as accurate as blood tests. Thats just the way it is. I did not make that up, all PED experts say so. Why do you think they do random blood testing in olympics and in many states? For the fun of it? You're more excited about seeing the Pacquiao name ruined by baseless speculation. btw, did the title fight at 145 between Chavez and Whitaker cheapen the sport? did the title fight between DLH and Hopkins at 158 cheapen the sport? No, I don't deny the best testing improves the sport, but I don't agree that it should be done for just one fight, which is the case here. People are FORGETTING THAT FLOYD MAYWEATHER WILL ALSO BE UNDERGOING THE SAME RANDOM AND INTRUSIVE BLOOD TESTING THAT MANNY PACQUIAO WILL BE GOING THROUGH. At least, now I know that Floyd is clean and Manny is not and for that I will always rate Floyd higher than Manny.
