Hey guys,
Heading to seattle for the weekend but can't miss the fight. Can any of you suggest a good spot to catch the fight? Ideally good volume, lots of tv's etc. Any info would be appreciated....
You should hit one of the many casinos in the area. I was stationed there for 8 years and saw many fights there.
With all the BS floating around I've come to the conclusion, Manny is stuck with Top Rank.
This is just a short list of the things that lead me to this, in no particular order
1 Manny suddenly hires an accounting firm (Vision Quest) to look into how he's being paid.
When Manny did this, did you notice a sense of ergency on Bobs part?
He seemed to be very uncomfortable with them snooping around. All of a sudden Koncz is on a plane to see Manny, rumors of VQ being fired swirled/denied then confirmed.
From what I've read VQ found out mannys shyt was in shambles, shoe box files, no real order or any way of tracking real ammounts paid/owed to Manny.
They even found out that Koncz was employed by Top Rank.
Koncz is there to protect manny from being taken advantage of not only from outside sharks, but also he's there to protect manny from Top Rank. So why is he also employed by Bob?
Now this part really got me..
manny hiring VQ was a good move, but Mannys next move puzzled me.
He fires VQ then hires a firm that was recommened by Bob Arum? Why would he do that, VQ had no ties to TR so I assume they'd be looking out for mannys best interest more than a firm that has ties to the company they're investigating.
My guess is, Bob has dirt on Manny (i could only imagine what that dirt is). It seems manny has sold his soul to Bob, Bob knows a lil too much about manny and manny allowed Bob to have too much control for too long.

Everything in bold sounds EXACTLY like my brother and I wouldn't put it past Mayweather to pull that off. I still think Pacquiao has a chance at beating Mayweather. My brother thinks it'll play out exactly like Márquez/Floyd with Pacquiao being slightly more competitive.

pacquiao would try throwing his jab, landing at an almost nonexistant rate due to his size disadvantage, and he'll try his leaping in combinations, but floyd would just put all of his weight on the back foot and pacquiaos combinations would serve only to gas himself out
takes a lot out of a fighter when youre hitting air, floyd doesnt even need to be particularly elusive, he'll just hop backwards as Pacquiao jumps in (off balance like he always does), and Floyd will nail him with pull counters and straight right hands
if Ortiz had a bit more experience and ring smarts the fight would have probably went 12, only because he's bigger than Floyd, Pacquiao is SMALLER than Floyd with a significant reach disadvantage
Floyd will jab/pull counter him to the point of frustration
I'm telling you right now, and people here who truly know how to dissect fights can critique me here , Pacquiao's punch output will be very un-pacquiao like because he wont be able to effectively get close enough to Floyd without getting tagged

don't get me wrong I don't think he is scared to lose his 0. I respect floyd and believe he is the best in the world right now. But every one has limits. If this dude comes in that much over the limit I think floyd has every right to bail. You sign for a contracted weight you make it thats it.

Does anyone think floyd and GBP are going to cancel the biggest fight in more than 5 years, a fight that could sell 2 mil ppv's, has sold thousands of closed circuit tickets and has already set the live gate record, because Canelo misses weight?
Honestly I think Floyd would if it meant he was being taken advantage of and put in aposistion to lose his 0. Floyd has options he is the big money draw why risk it with a guy weighing in at 154-156 and 170+ at fight night. Just saying.
The only way the fight gets canceled is if somebody loses a arm or leg. I'm here in Vegas I can't explain the atmosphere right trust me they ain't canceling the fight over weight.

I dont think he was "ducking" anyone. Only idiot so called boxing fans would come out and say that he was ducking without any evidence to support. we had basically the same ****ing fight the difference was the eye swelling caused by a thumb and if you paid attention even the ring side Cottosexuals said the same **** from rounds 4 through 7 and in the 9th it was clear the fight was shifting.
There was nothing different about this fight except the eye and Cotto made minor adjustments, but by the 9th you could see that Tony had applied enough pressure to make up for Cottos adjustment.
Look at Tonys reaction when the bell to end the 9th sounded, (Glove slicing the throat) telling Garcia Cotto was all done...
The difference in this fight is Cotto may have gotten stopped or quit again in the 12th rather than the 11th.
Man I don't know what fight you were watching... Cotto was up 7 rds on all the cards and looked 10 times fresher than Margo going into the tenth... he was fortunate to have the doctor save his eye... make no mistake the 3 rds Cotto had left he was going to pound that eye until Margo was blind as evident by the stare down after the stoppage.
