I feel that Mosley is sort of overrated, heck of a fighter in his prime and a sure hall of famer, but if you really break down his career it's not as great as people think. He feasted on nothing but mediocre fighters in his run at lightweight, and his best wins over DLH, are questionable as I thought Oscar won the second one and not to mention Shane was juicing. He has pretty good wins over Vargas, Margarito, Mayorga, and Collazo but nothing really stands out. He also has some pretty ugly losses where he was completely outclassed (Winky x2, Forrest x2, Floyd, Manny, Canelo).
I'll pick Cotto.

I agree that Ward looks untouchable in his division, not entirely sure how the Dawson fight will play out as Chad can be very awkward and boring. But yeah I see Ward winning.

He may be 31, but I'd say he's got at a minimum 5-7 really good years left. He's taken almost no punishment, already has a belt, and while we all know how great he is he's only fought 10 fights. He needs to just stay active, fight every couple of months, abuse people, and by the time he reaches fight 15 or 20 people won't be able to keep avoiding him.
Agreed. Because he fought so regularly in the amateurs, it's not like he always cut alot of weight for his fights. I bet he keeps himself in great shape. Hopefully he can keep his speed into his late 30s.

I agree with this. I don't see anyone at those weight's I'd pick over him. In his last 2 fights against Teon & Rico (though they're not that great) make me wonder if others could even touch him. He seems omnipotent.

You never know. Williams' has only one unavenged loss, to one of the best boxers on the planet on his record, so there's a good chance Williams exposes him.
I like Alvarez and his fights are entertaining but you just never know. People give the kid a hard time, but not many people have fought an (albeit past their best) hall of famer and a banger like williams by the time they're 22.
His appeal and marketability almost work against him in some ways, as he has big-money backers who are trying to sculpt a good career and maximise profits... Which gets him nothing but hate from 50% of people on here. But i'm sure he just probably wants to fight, he's always calling out the big names.
I agree with everyone's problem that he's been gifted the belt and not been forced to fight anyone decent in a few years to defend it... but money talks in boxing i guess. I don't really think he deserves all of his criticism, as much of it is other people not wanting to throw him in at the deep end and lose their investment.

I watched the Ward-Froch fight with some friends and enjoyed the whole thing (even as a Froch fan) as it's rare to see someone so skilled, at the top of their game putting on a lesson like that against a tough pro. However my friends thought it was boring as hell! and moaned the whole way through (as no one ever looked hurt or wobbled)
