Unlike Ortiz as well Pacquiao can throw straight shots, Ortiz punches very wide very telegraphed, surprised he landed as many as he did against Mayweather.
Pacquiao straight left will give Mayweather huge problems, not sure how Floyd deals with it.
How will manny deal with floyds straight right? and you do realize that the punch that ortiz was somewhat landing was the right hook?
So you think he will pot shot and move, that won't work, the jab will be blocked and counter, and Manny can avoid the straight right with simple steping to the right.
Manny will fire the jab, feint it an throw the right hook.
Floyd will be too slow to counter Pacquiao, as he was against Judah.
really now?
It's called temperament. Like a pitbull who lost a leash he goes deranged and attacks. Victor's old trainer said he is weak minded. He loses control. He was like a nasty dog who got his leash removed and went nutts in the ring.
It's like a dog. His kind of bread is unstable and has the tendency to bite or go nasty. Like tyson was. He gets crazy when frustrated, hence the balrog head butt. But if he was stable and in control of his head he would realize he was winning the fourth round. It's all in the breading. Some are stallions some are crazy mutts.
If he was winning the round why was he frustrated? I just don't see how you have ortiz winning the round, he landed two good shots that initiated the flurries but he didnt land anything with those flurries.
So he decided to headbutt floyd in a round he was winning this makes sense. So he was frustrated from hitting floyd and making floyd miss this really make sense.(please catch the sarcasm)

Just last month you sounded optimistic about Ortiz and a litte skeptical about Mayweather.
:bottle:
lmao at the ts
Why don't YOU prove to me he didn't come in at 160 since every body already knows he came in around that weight.
Don't get mad or bring up authority here....it has nothing to do wit what we are talking about. First of all it was JMM who exactly said what I said that's why he wants this fight and he is not worried about the weightclass he is coming in. They will both come in at around the same weight come fight night so it will be an even fight in terms of size. Don't play ignorant!
The reason Floyd had so much advantage going for him against Marquez is that besides Floyd's skills Floyd outweighed him and didn't even come to the stipulated agreement of 144. Only a dumbass ignoramus would say Floyd did not outweight Marquez by at least 10+ pounds in that fight.
I don't know why you brought up Gatti at 160.......he's not a middleweight, everybody knows that. We are not talking about how the weight of the fighter at the day of the fight should be his weightclass, this is about the same fighter weighing in at the same weight at the day of the fight. OK?
Can you prove he came in at 160? No you can't and who is this everyone that knows he came in at 160? I doubt floyds ever been above 154 on fight night.
When an American lose their 0 they have been exposed. But the only one person on your list thats "dominating" have an undefeated record. So pac was exposed in the philipines, sergio was exposed by margs, wlad was exposed by sanders and brewster , froch by kessler, and haye by thompson, and marquez by chris john and pac. so according to the ts method of being exposed all but one of the fighters he claim are dominating have been exposed.
(insert any top 10 SOUTHPAW)
He just doesnt want to pay them good money, these clowns are doing it a few grand. You honestly think he is learning anything by fighting these bums?
Its like beating up little kids, you cant learn anything.
You can only learn when you are challenged. Fighting fighters who cant make it on FNF? Yea, its a one sided clinic that doesnt develop anything.
Are you going to name them?
yes it is
Pac "ducked" a guy he beat twice? :joker:
Marquez was given that draw due to a judge mistake, but to be honest nobody that I know thats in to boxing and myself does not believes that manny won the second fight, it was a close fight but everybody that I know who watched that fight believes maruez should have won.
Did you guys really not know that JMM turned down 750 for a rematch and fought John in Indonesia instead for 35k?
Or that JMM asked for not only 50 but OST knowing damn well that what killed the Floyd last year prior to fighting Clottey?
But, yet have the nerve to say "this proves you only follow the sport since 08"
Lord have mercy. And, then people ***** about my "high horse" attitude.
i still don't know why he took that fight john it made no sense at all
Who cares if he could've have beaten them point is floyd didn't want to fight the best
He wanted his career to stroll down easy street , he fought good fighters only cuz he was forced to
Floyd has never been in a "classic" fight , never will cuz as soon as he senses danger he starts hugging and smiling den hopes on his tricycle for the duration of the bout.
are you serious?
both amazing rounds, but ill go with Castillo Corrales rd 10.
The unexpected ending did it for me, after getting put down twice, to see him get up and force a tKO stoppage after such a punishing fight was special. Even if he did spit out his mouth piece to buy time
that finish was amazing
IMO Gatti-Ward was better because the fight commentary with Steward, Lampley, and Merchant was hilarious.
"HE GOTTA HIT HIM TO THE BODY! HIT HIM TO THE BODY! THERE! THERE!" - Emanuel Steward
"Before this fight you'd think we might have had a fight of the year but never the fight of the century!" - Jim Lampley
"THIS IS A FIGHT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE 1950s!!!!!!!" - Jim Lampley
Steward was barely a commentator that fight. He was screaming and shet.
steward screaming hit him to the body was hilarious.but the commentary for that fight did add a lot.
point being, wifebater isn't a great puncher at 147 lbs.
true but he does have some pop in his punches and he can hurt fighters if he hits him with a good counter.
He can outbox him win, but Floyd is versatile and I think alot of people are forgetting that. They just think Floyd is going to potshot and move for 12 rounds. Floyd will mix it up on Manny from the 1 second to the last second of the fight. Some of things that Manny has done to his recent list of opponents just won't work against the best boxer in the sport. And Floyd is much more cerebral now in his career, so I see him outwitting Manny and mixing it up from start to finish.
i see it the same way.
Doesn't matter wheather Floyd counter puncher or not, he punches like a girl. Pacman can throw as much as he wants up to 2000 and won't get hurt. But I think 500 punches will be enough to KTFO Floyd by round 6.
floyd punches like a girl? i've never heard a fighter he fought say this, matter of fact they say most of them usually say he is much stronger than they thought.
