"I've been boxing Kassim Ouma; he's been giving me some good work. I got Kassim Ouma, Deandre Latimore, Sechew Powell, and I got some other guys that came in. I got 4, 5 or 6 guys, so I got some good work. Everbody else has been impressed with my work, but I think I can do better," stated undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather, who took a brief break from his busy training schedule to give us an update on how everything has been going for his upcoming September 17 return to the ring to face WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz. Check it out!
BT: How's everything going, man?
FM: Everything is going good. I gotta get ready to do my run. I'm on my way over there to do my run right now. That's where they're taking me to.
BT: I heard you've been running through sparring partners already.

BT: A lot of people are curious as to why you don't work with one of these strength and conditioning coaches that a lot of other fighters use.
FM: I don't need no strength and conditioning coach. All I need is God.
BT: That's all Floyd Mayweather needs? If it ain't broke, don't fix it?
FM: You know I do three workouts a day. But Ben, who's the fighter that just fought Zab?
BT: You mean Amir Khan?
FM: Jessie Vargas wants to know why Amir Khan is ducking and dodging.
BT: (Laughing) You trying to get Jessie in the ring with him?
FM: Yeah. He's asking for him. Everybody is ducking and dodging him. He's my fighter and he wants him.
BT: That's funny because Amir said he wants you.
FM: He don't really want that; not selling 2500 tickets and having a bunch of giveaways. No, he don't want that. Okay Ben, I'm at the place. I'm about to get my run in.
BT: Alright my man. I'll catch up with you later.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have Judah in the gym as a sparring partner as well....

He just doesnt want to pay them good money, these clowns are doing it a few grand. You honestly think he is learning anything by fighting these bums?
Its like beating up little kids, you cant learn anything.
You can only learn when you are challenged. Fighting fighters who cant make it on FNF? Yea, its a one sided clinic that doesnt develop anything.
He's fights different guys for different reasons.
Ouma is the perfect guy. Size speed and power. Latimore for strength, Powell for speed.

Thats not how it works..maybe if you're training partners you spar together every now and then but you dont hire top fighters to be a part of your camp that takes away from their training and it takes away from your sparring.
You want sparring partners that you can work with.
I like the old dundee idea though, have a private fight if you're gonna take a long layoff.

You arent very smart at all. Top 10 fighers don't agree to be sparring partners.

Are you going to name them?

Named them a$$hole and why would any top ten southpaw agree to be a sparring partner.
Would Pacquaio (who is top ten) agree to be a sparring partner for Money.
Also Ouma, Powell and Latimore are all former world champions.
Please name the top ten and don't duck the list.
Who should he spar smart guy?
Lay some knowledge down.

floyd needs God and duckqiao needs ariza :lol1:
Floyd doesnt need god, he is still awaiting God's Bloodwork to come in before he can even talk to God. Apparently he is waiting for the USADA rep to draw God's blood.
Why is he sparring bums like Powell / Latimore / Ouma? He couldnt get some undefeated guys or guys who are even FNF fighters?
Pactard is sparring with Chinny Chin and Floyd sparring with bums who hold his jockstrap.

Floyd is probably around the 160lbs mark.
Lets hope Floyd's confidence spills over in the Pacquiao negoatiations.
:lol1: :lol1:
Can't let it go, huh? Such a troll...over nothing.
They're definitely good sparring partners, but it sounds like you've been overpaying for mid-grade.
:rofl:...so what you sayin?!?...they're more like some kush or what?!? lol
Zab was comming of a lost to a journeyman.
Zab was comming of two good wins at his favoured weight.
Floyd - Zab was more offensive minded and minus a couple beatdowns (cotto, Clottey) and he was 28.
Khan - Zab Judah should have loss vs Matthysse and beat a one dimensional brawler. He is 33 and well past his prime. He fought in a defensive matter in which he barely threw punches.

Two good wins. Mabuza most agree, was a fight he was losing (i thought it was close for zab) before the ko. The Mathysse fight most believe he lost. I don't know if that is good wins but 140 is a better weight for him.
Just too much time between fights to judge.
The time between fights is so long that it really is impossible to compare the performance of zab. Thats the logic HAtton used when calling out floyd, I beat CAstillo better then floyd did. Didn't work out too well.

Floyd lost the first 3 rounds, maybe the first 4, was also KD but not called by the ref.
Khan on the other hand dominated Judah from start to finished and made him not want to fight anymore, and stopped him in 5.
