It's the annoying videos taking up half the page all the bot threads. The site absolutely crawls anymore.
The mods allowed a lot of these insane people to just post whatever they wanted to on here. Complete trolling and just a mix of the horrible culture of the younger generation. Just take a look at the guys in the lounge. No one wants to be around that stuff.
This site reminds me of a Blue State. Everyone just packed their things up and moved.
The Floyd Mayweather brigade is on full force to defend Floyd.
Who was the 147 champion in the Fall/Winter of '05? Judah right?
He fought Judah and then Baldomir in '06. The Champions.
Lest we forget Ali living, being an activist and fighting during Jim Crow and the Civil Rights Movement.
I thought that thread was a joke until I started reading comments.
The recency bias and lack of awareness is worrisome.
Usyk is one of the greatest fighters of all time.
Patterson isn’t a “legend” stop it lol. As for Norton and Frazier, they both beat Ali in their first fights with him
Patterson became the youngest heavyweight champion of all time.
Because people are lazy & ******.
they see old footage in black & white & are too dumb to understand that lower resolution video doesn't capture the greatness of athletes of the past.
This TED talk perfectly encapsulates why modern athletes aren't that much better than athletes in the past, even with all the PEDs & "advanced training"

Good post.
Can soft sparring on a weekly basis harm you and still increase your chances of getting cte ? Does soft sparring become more dangerous without headgear ?
Find a new sport.
Lomachenko certainly didn’t have a bad career, but I think more was expected. Maybe if he had stayed at 130 lbs instead of moving up he would have been more dominant?
You say the heavier weights limit opposition, but Usyk is beating much bigger and stronger world champions.
To be honest, I completely agree. But he beat Haney, and beat the hell out of Lopez. They're Tank-like-cowards of the new era.
Loma kind of under performed to what his hype was to be honest...i think he started too late
What? Lmao..... Nobody would fight him and the whole world knows he beat Haney. Salido would never fight him again and almost got stopped weighing probably 20 pounds heavier on fight night. Don't get me started on Lopez. These guys manipulated everything they could to stay away from.
He was the most feared fighter. You guys are into the culture wayyy to heavy.
Do you think Lomachenko had the better pro career?
I think Usyks career is obviously incredible, but to say something like "Loma didn't live up to his hype" is insanity. Usyk is obviously fighting at a heavier weight which limits opposition, especially in the modern era. Loma's reign as the pound for pound king was pretty extraordinary.
Would we be asking this question if the judges got it right and gave it to Loma instead of Haney? Or if Salido and Lopez gave him rematches? These guys were as scared of Loma as any ghost in history.
You have to lean on Usyk's career based on what has happened, but everyone avoided Loma.
Bumping this thread is getting so old now tbh
I can see how certain people thought Broner was good. To me he was less than Naseem Hamed. He cherry picked guys and when he tested himself finally he got whipped.
I always thought he was a complete moron. You can’t be a good fighter being as dumb as him.
No dude.

He was out cold for a good few minutes. The doctor is the one that asked for the fight to be stopped.
Ever fought? He knew if he didn't continue he'd get the DQ win. Horrible job by the ref for telling him that.
I've never seen Froch beat anybody elite. He looks like a slappy amateur every time he fights. Dirrell definitely beat him.
Dirrell quit again tonight. His corner told him to lay down, and he laid down.
First time it was arguable that he quit. This time? No, he fell Paul Williams style. This one was legit.
He was completely aware of the situation. Can't continue, victory.
Also a lot of people don't get this, but when a fighter is in the middle of throwing a 3-4 punch combination, it's set in his mind to throw it. That was completely unintentional and the ref blew it.
Once Floyd had Pac thinking it was over. Pac was fighting a step behind all the way. It became a typical Floyd fight, I expected Pac to push Floyd to the limit.
Watch the Mosley-Pac fight. It's basically the same fight except Floyd was in charge. Pac comes in a straight line every time and the fight gets boring. He would never adjust or anything.
