Don't matter.
The ref had already warned Uzcategui about post bell shots.
Despite Uzcategui not understanding English he damn sure knows what a bell sounds like.
Despite excuses about mid combo, a skilled fighter knows how to pull punches properly. Baring that, you heard the 10-second tap, so don't go into combos more than 2 deep so that you CAN pull.
It's not like Dirrell took a shot and stayed standing, which would have probably resulted in a point deduction. Look at his head in the gif. He took it FLUSH and was out. That's why it was a DQ.
The doctor is the one who recommended stopping the fight. Blame him.
If you and certain others are under this assumption that a human being is willing to risk an Abdusalamov treatment so they can win a title, I'm call you on your BS.
You're just making schit up. im not even going to read this babbling load of gibberish, you're the only one trying to defend this charade, everyone else clearly sees it for what it is.
No dude.

He was out cold for a good few minutes. The doctor is the one that asked for the fight to be stopped.
Nope. He sat up . His Corner told him to stay down and the Big F -up is the ref for advising Dirrell he was gonna DQ Uzcategui if he couldn't continue . The ref was Clearly biased ! Why was he so angry in the post fight interview ? Why after the interview does he run to Dirrell and apologize n start kissing azz ?
I wanna see Uzcategui fight again .
I'll pass on Dirrell
lol @ comparing this to the martinez-williams punch
this was a very slightly late punch at the end of a combination that ruined his equililibrium for a few seconds. He sat right up, realized he could get the DQ.
P Williams was out cold with his eyes rolled back in his head and people thought he was dead/in a coma.
Not similar punches and dirrell is not made of the same stuff as williams.
Taking a loss is more marketable than winning by fake DQ, twice. His career was in the toilet after the first one.
That punch was maybe 0.0001 seconds late in the middle of a combination that started before the bell. Barely warning material much less DQ.
What's worse? The flopping around like a fish and pretending to have amnesia for half an hour after the Abraham punch or the cheapshot this time?
No dude.

yes dude. i wasnt talking about the punch...post the gif 2 seconds after that one...
Dirrell did the right thing, even if he wasn't hurt...why the **** would he fight on if a DQ was on the way? Don't like it? don't hit after bill....unprofessional ****
Also a lot of people don't get this, but when a fighter is in the middle of throwing a 3-4 punch combination, it's set in his mind to throw it. That was completely unintentional and the ref blew it.
No dude.

Ever fought? He knew if he didn't continue he'd get the DQ win. Horrible job by the ref for telling him that.
Definitely milked it. Was losing the fight and not impressive. And when he went down and didn't hear the ref counting he started milking and Dan Rafael reporting that his corner was yelling stay down. Ref should of taken a point away and if he couldn't continue gone to scorecards. At this point I'm done with dirrell he is never going to do anything special in this sport.
Huge fight between him and Kermit Cintron.. that would be great and make the unpredictable become predictable.
First to jump and fake a KO to milk a W.
If he rematches this guy, he's going to get KOed again. Granted, Dirrell had his moments in the fight. But Jose is simply to fast and too strong for him.
First time it was arguable that he quit. This time? No, he fell Paul Williams style. This one was legit.
lol? he was sitting up on his knees about to get up, the reff asked are you ok, do you want to continue, he replies ' yes, im ok'
the reff says time out ill handle it, then andre decides he will milk it and get a DQ victory and falls over on his face like he cant continue :lol1:
He was completely aware of the situation. Can't continue, victory.
he fell flat on his fukin face lol doubt he faked that.. he recovered like 3 mins later
LMAO, this dude faked an after the bell seizure twice in order to get closer to a win. Phucking fraud man, this dude has always been a punk. His brother seems to be legit but Andre is a straight up tool. Then with his uncle's shenanigans, it's just a mess.........prolly better off not fighting anymore.
I don't know know if it was fake because Direll was fighting well. I'm sure he would have continued if the fight went on but if the ref say he's going to disqualify the other guy why would Direll beg to keep fighting? With that being said, Direll is not living up to his talent. I wouldn't say he needs to retire but he needs to reconsider his career.
