I'm cheering for Pacquiao, but the Cotto vs. Clottey fight convinced me enough that Cotto is going to win against Pacquiao. I think Cotto's counterpunching with his jabs would throw Pac off balance. As far as work rate is concern, if Pacquiao could survive the first half of the fight with enough stamina to work Cotto, I'm sure Pac has a chance.

Im a huge Manny Pacquiao fan and I think Cotto is favored (and most likely) to win. I don't understand why most people, even some Cotto fans, think Pacquiao has a better chance at winning.

yeah...Id say you are! Well I see posts from some Cotto fans who think Pac has a chance and it blows my mind (like the above gif) that they think that, but I guess thats their opinion. But hell, I'm still gonna root for Pacquiao.

am I the only Pacquiao fan who doesn't think Pac has as much as a chance as everyone claims to beat Cotto? I think Cotto is way too dangerous of a fighter for Pac. People criticize Cotto for playing survival mode during times, but I can picture Cotto countering Pacquiao a lot...maybe worse than JMM did in the first fight.

you dont get it, Pacquiao loves to trade, we never see that because barrera, marquez and morales all boxed Pacquiao.... and we all know margarito is all about trading and putting on you, where is pacquiao going? hes gonna try and go for the knockout and thats where he gets knocked out of the ring. I disagree, he didn't go for the KO against De La Hoya because he stuck with the game plan (put flurries in and back out afterwards). I'm sure the same gameplan will go along with Margarito. Though to the OP, you're not alone, but I'm not one of them. I think Margarito is too big, too strong a fighter.

I don't understand why so many posters who pretend to be JMM's fans still want a third fight. JMM got knocked down four times in two fights already, do you really want JMM get seriously hurt before you get convinced that he lost to the Pacman? You must all remember that after the first fight, JMM says he won the fight, inspite of the admission of one stupid judge that he erred in not scoring the 3 KD's as 10 - 6 in favor of Pacman. He was then offered $750,000 for a rematch but refused it, going instead to to Indonesia for $35,000 and lost. He was given another chance and he blew it. Plain and simple.... Nacho's fault.

The problem is it has NO ebb and flow. There's no drama all fights end within minutes it's very bland. My major problem is how does a UFC fight end in a fast KO on the undercard and it's considered great but if Ortiz,Jacobs and Lopez get quick KO's then its a bad undercard. I think the biggest misconception is that MMA is UFC when it should be the other way around. As far as drama for fights, you should've been around when Pride FC was around because they promoted their fights better (IMHO) than UFC.

The Mir vs. Noguiera fight is a poor example because - Noguiera's gist of his stand up were from training with the Cuban Boxing Team when he was fighting in Pride FC. - Noguiera is way past his prime. Compare this fight to his fight with Barnett and Cro Cop and you'll see a different person. A better example if you want to use is Rashad Evans vs. Liddell. Also I'm sure Noguiera didn't go for the take down cuz he probably thought He had better stand up than Mir in which case Mir surprised him. Also Noguiera has been known to be versatile so it's not a surprised if Noguiera gets knocked down a lot in a fight.

But what does he have to lose by taking a blood test? At the end of the day this fight isn't happening over a random blood test. And that is Manny's fault. You do realize that Manny is willing to do random blood test and unlimited urine test if done by NSAC. Not done by what Floyd wants

Manny is a bitch for not taking the blood tests that PBF will ALSO take and will ALLOW the fight to happen...I personally think Manny will use this a way to back out and fight Yuri Foreman...Arum isn't willing to give up his gravy train so easily. Sorry just the facts! Again, Pac agreed to blood testing weeks before the fight and immediately after the fight. You would've known this if you did this thing called "reading", something you did before you dropped out of highschool.

Floyd wants RANDOM testing...Pac and Roach want to take the tests when they want to. Like I said in my original post, Floyd says he wants it, but is he himself willing to comply? I'm willing to skydive, but don't be surprised if I'm not enthusiastic when I'm on that plane.

SORRY...I need to be perfectly clear...Manny Has agreed to TWO blood tests - One prior to beginning of training and another immediately after the fight...He has however not agreed to any blood tests beyond this... The problem with this is...PED's can be taken during training and stopped before the end of training and not appear in the two test that Manny has agreed to... Is that better? If thats a common fact why hasn't the NSAC accomodate for such possibilities (unless what you said is false). Then all boxers are in question as well as the reputation of boxing as a whole.

the same can be said about pacquiao.......he fought de la hoya at 147 (a weight oscar hadn't made in 9 years) why not fight de la hoya at 154 like Mayweather???? Because De La Hoya offered the fight to Pac @ 147.
