JMM doesn't deserve a 3rd fight with Manny!

He was getting counterd all day!!!! How many rounds did pac have in the bank? The rounds that pac won were very hard to judge and could of gone either way!!!Just chasing someone and throwing punches doesn't mean you win the round... You can say that about JMM also. According to the media, there were rounds that were closed that JMM won, those rounds could have gone either way. Backing up and countering and not landing does not win rounds. JMM was hitting gloves and air in some rounds. And as far as the total punches landed, JMM had more cuz Pac did not throw anything(or just a couple) in round 8 were he had a cut that bothered him through out the round. It does not mean he landed more in every round. Pac beat JMM fairly. Even the judge who was replaced had the same judge that replaced him(114-113). Even the media said not a robbery and respect and must stand on the judges decision. Some of you said that Pac didn't beat JMM clearly. You can say that about JMM also. He did not clearly beat Pac. Media and fans said it could have gone either way, it went Pac's way, lived with it. The Ring mag even predicted Pac will beat JMM by a closed decision, even by controvery. This was 2006 or 07. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- As far as a 3rd fight, don't want to see it. The reason is when Pac beats JMM, he will be called shot. JMM had his chance of a rematch 4 years ago but turned it down. JMM fans said its his management's fault, well blame JMM also. His reason was that as the champ, he should earn more money than Pac(from reading in the forum). Being the champ does not mean you get more money. You want big money, you have to earn it by fighting top opponents, not by being a champ.

What has Juan Manuel Marquez done since the losing to Manny. Nothing. He beat an old solid veteran in Cassamayor. He gets props for that, and then what. He nneds to earn a title fight for the 3rd time. What JMM nneds to do is stop flying to the Phillipines and beat and clean out the 135lb division. And then he will earn that fight. Manny gave him 2 chances and if it wasn't for a judges error would have beat him twice. A close decision win is exactly what it is a close win. he does deserve a rematch cuz i have it even...1 for manny & 1 for marquez.

But tell your boy JMM to go fight Chris John and go get that RING belt his company owns before telling him he deserves a 3rd fight with Pac. He had his chance before. Pac deserves to get paid by fighting for big money with De La Hoya and Hatton. JMM brings nothing to the table financialy now. I don't understand why so many posters who pretend to be JMM's fans still want a third fight. JMM got knocked down four times in two fights already, do you really want JMM get seriously hurt before you get convinced that he lost to the Pacman? You must all remember that after the first fight, JMM says he won the fight, inspite of the admission of one stupid judge that he erred in not scoring the 3 KD's as 10 - 6 in favor of Pacman. He was then offered $750,000 for a rematch but refused it, going instead to to Indonesia for $35,000 and lost. He was given another chance and he blew it. Plain and simple.... Nacho's fault.

JMM vs Pac 3 would have easily put up the numbers after they both picked up a belt at 135. Unfortunately, Delahoya decided to try to pick on Manny and ruined any chance of that happening. A third fight between Pac and JMM would have been much more competitive and exciting than that farcical "Dream Match." I agree that a 3rd fight would have been better than the Nightmare match. In reality any top 5 fighter at fight at 140, 135, 130, and 147 would have been more competitive. But the reality is he has to earn that 3rd fight.

ha, gotta love how Casa was "old and shot" and everyone on Manny's resume was in their prime. ****outtahere. Casamayor robbed Santa Cruz and barely beat Katsidas. This wan't Casa of old. Judging by how close teh two fights were, (I gave teh first one to Pac, teh second was sooo close) I would say JMM does deserve a third fight with Pac. hmmmz??? i dont think so man.... manny will go for the big figures.. and jmm doesnt bring them.... not right now.. he will milk his fame as much as he can!! and he knows jmm aint no walk in the park... soo.. he would rather loose to anybody else for more money.... some one like cotto for example... JMM wanted an immediate rematch simply because he's older and it won't be long before he starts to decline in ability. Somehow it got twisted into "JMM is crying for a rematch." I don't see how wanting to get right back in the ring with the "p4p best" fighter is "crying". LOL. the new memorable moments scoring system? Watch the fights and score the rounds on the ten point must system. There is definitely an argument for Marquez winning the fight despite what you mentioned. But I agree on you on Marquez having the wrong attitude, even if he didn't think he olst he should say he thought he won but in a way that doesn't come across so bitchy. on a side note... i disagree with this thread.. because i think that he DOES DESERVE A SHOT!!... but i cant see that fight in the near future! :sad:
