It's really a question of when both will take the tests.
People here on NSB are so ignorant and they come to conclusions so quickly about this or that I wouldn't be surprised if many of you really believe that we didn't land on the moon or the U.S. Government took down the towers. Pacquiao is willing to take the test, however Arum and Roach are speaking for him and kinda making him look bad out of just being immature and expressing their hatred for Floyd
Now whether Manny is on illegal substances is still in question, but the same can be said about Floyd and as a matter of fact any boxer/MMA fighter that ever fought in Nevada with the assumption that the NSAC's testing is not very effective that it's practically useless. And all in all, it will question Boxing, MMA, and NSAC's drug testing forever if either Floyd or Manny is caught with illegal substances through the proposed Olympics Drug Testing. Sure Floyd says he willing to give blood and comply but words and actions are different
Though do boxers really have skeletons in their closet that Mayweather is blindly exposing that could hurt not only the image of the boxer in question but the entire sport of Boxing? If Manny or Floyd is caught with illegal substance that means every boxer that has ever went through NSAC testing are in question. It's all "Schrodinger's Cat" from here on out.
Well I don't disagree with you. Either there needs to be a commission in place to oversee boxing and put in place efficient year round drug tests, or to hell with it.
My whole thing is with what mayweather is doing and his timing. If this was a concern of his, he should have talked about this years ago and lobbied for it, got congress involved, etc. because even if we say pac is on roids, he surely isn't alone.
I cant hate on that post bro
Well lets hope for the boxers sake that a more efficient way of testing is done and commisioned correctly
From what I've read, he's not refusing to take the blood test, he just doesn't want it so close to the fight. I believe he's agreed to take the blood tests in Jan, before the press conference, and immediately after the fight and all the urine he can produce within that timespan. I really don't believe he's hiding anything, he just feels that he would be weakened if blood is drawn so close to the fight. If he's on something, it would definitely show up some time there.
Very good post, I'm with you on this. Regardless if Pac is on roids or not, floyd is definiately hurting the sport by doing this. And in fact, like others have said, you would be shocked to find out how many guys are on roids. If you are to believe some people's words, probably 80-90% of boxers use illegal substances. If that's the case, you would get to the point of the MLB which is who really cares at that point? Now, I understand how someone like floyd could want to have more strict tests in place. But I think this is entirely the wrong way of doing it. You don't do it right before the biggest fight on the planet, imo.
if their is steriods in boxing floyd is not hurting boxing he's helping ,steriods or any kind of performance enhancers are illegal .Pac has a cloud over him already ,some people just don't get it
Very good post, I'm with you on this.

I have to strongly disagree with you Nats
I think this should be done from now on. We need to either legalize Peds and Roids or demand more effient testing. Its an eye opener just like the margs wraps were
Im not saying that pac is cheating but just that the testing needs to be more efficient.
He already stated he will. Manny on the other hand is afraid of RANDOM drug testing. Kinda odd, don't you think?
I've never accused Pacman of taking illegal supplements but that shit is fishy as hell. There is just no excuse for it.
Ok, read my post AGAIN. I said Floyd did say he will, Though will he?
Like I said in my original post, Floyd says he wants it, but is he himself willing to comply? I'm willing to skydive, but don't be surprised if I'm not enthusiastic when I'm on that plane.

Mosley was subpoenaed in the BALCO investigation and testified before a federal grand jury in 2003. He has always denied using steroids and has never tested positive.

Boxing fans are mostly retarded thats why this sport is in a coma for awhile. Floyd is just posturing and being an @ssh0le or his really a ducker? When somebody accuss a person of a "crime", he should produce "evidence" of the guilt first and not the other way around by making Pac's prove his innocence first. Morons who believe Floyd Sr. libelous statement should be compared to a street drunk who saw superman change costume behind the alley beside the trash bin and flown away after that.:crackhead
I wouldn't think Floyd is ducking (because I don't think a person of Floyd's talent shouldn't be afraid of Pacquiao's style) but more getting every advantage he can. But I wonder if Floyd knows what he's getting into?

he is hurting the sport, but didn't you just made this thread?

the biggest fight on the planet is the CORRECT time to do it.

Got to be the statement of the year , shows the mentality of the Pac worshipers , take your blinkers of bud because you cant see past your nose .
Yes, lets attack Pac Fans rather than contributing to the topic. /sarcasm
Another example of ignorance.
