Steroids in athletics started in the 1950s in Sovietland, so Joe was clean, but I'm not sure when boxers started using them. I feel like it was in the 80s that heavyweights all started to have that look to them, not saying they all used but seemed to have more muscle than the guys of 10-15 years before. I guess we'll never know as nobody comes out and admits it unless they get caught.
I know that what was I was getting at. Holyfield was a juicer and Louis was not. If Louis was around in the 90's and using like Holyfield I think he would be able to hold his own or beat Evander for sure. Comparing a clean 1930's to 1950's athlete with the steroid infested guys from the 70's through today is useless
Keep in mind that Manny Pacquiao has never competed in the olympics at all
He was already fighting professionally at age 15 wasn't he? How could he fight in the Olympics?
really a prime judah and corely well ok corely you right but it he still struggles and a prime judah wins
Oh the prime Judah that got knocked senseless by Kostya? GTFO here
I don't see it at all, Pacquiao wouldn't have kept Oscar off of him, Oscar likely stops him. Canelo would have caught Pacquiao coming in, he has all the tools and on top of that a considerable size advantage. Marquez, well we know how that usually goes. Also, Castillo would have tested Pacquiao on the inside, cut the ring off on him and he'd have the chin to compete. Genaro Hernandez would have been problematic as well. Again I don't see it, Pacquiao isn't big enough for the most part to do it.
Oscar couldn't deal with the speed of Manny, he would have destroyed the Oscar Floyd fought as well, Oscar was already washed up then.
Canelo would have gotten his face busted into pieces while trying to outbox Manny like he did against Floyd and he would have been weight drained the same and gassed after 5 rounds and Manny would have destroyed him.
Castillo would not have had to,cut off the ring, Manny comes right at you, he doesn't run away..Mannys speed again is,the difference and he busts up Castillo in a good scrap.
You're right about Marquez though, they fight 100 times and it's 50-50 with a couple stoppages either way.

Packie's dad says no.
Now post a pic of the Marquez that was drinking his own piss to gain some weight going into the Mayweather fight... Let's compare the roided up version to that version.
Pac would never fight DLH and Cotto at 154 and Canelo at 152. Ever. He'd be too scared and want some kind of advantage, despite being the same size as Floyd on FN.
Lol...you're delusional if you think those first two make a difference..then u talk about advantages and yet Floyd fights the young tough kid at 152 instead of 154 where he fought the first 2 you mentioned. You Floyd lovers are the most hypocritical posters around.
Pacquiao was 33 when Marquez knocked him out, Mayweather was 32 when he fought Marquez. I suppose Pacquiao was 32 when he robbed Marquez.
Age doesn't matter when one guy is fighting 2-3 times a year and the other once or not at all for 2 years. Lot more wars for Manny mixed in there.
DLH fought Floyd at 154, and rehydrated to who knows what, probably 160+. DLH fought Pac at 146 and DLH came in to the ring at 147lbs, rehydrating 1lb. If you think an Oscar that weighs 160+ on fight night would not better than an Oscar who weighed 147lbs on fight night, you are the delusional one.
Floyd fought Canelo at 152 but make no mistake, Pacquiao would never even fight anelo at 150lbs, he would ask him to come down below 150lbs or he wouldn't fight him. He would not fight Yuri Foreman, forget Canelo. Pac tried to get a rematch with Cotto below 150lbs again.
Oscar was shot regardless. He had lost to Sturm and got the bogus decision then got KO by BHOP. Beat R Mayorga lol..... The speed of Manny was to much for Oscar and it wouldn't have mattered at 154 at that point in his career.
So because Manny wouldn't fight above 150 where he maxed out, Floyd gets a pass because of it lol...Floyd had fought two aged guys at 154 and made a huge deal of it ." I fight guys where they're comfortable" remember? Then makes the young tough guy drop the extra 2 lbs...the kid can't even make 154 it seems, never mind getting to 152.
So you're saying Manny fuc**ng Pacquiao ducked Yuri Foreman? Come on, now you're just being stupid to try to make your point.
Manny hasn't and won't fight over 150 after the Margarito fight, he's said it and hasn't since.
Remember Tank fans hyping up that Barrios win?? That kid just got lucky to get a draw against a retired 46 year old guy lol... Absolute trash at 147 right now
Nope, I’m just pointing out that this clown show should’ve never been sanctioned by the WBC as a championship fight LMAO
Of course it shouldn't have... But Manny looked way better than most of us even expected and Barrios is complete garbage..
You still don’t get it. Barrios got paid to look like trash. And bragging that he’s ‘better than the fans’ isn’t even an argument, he’s a pro boxer, of course he’s better than average couch potatoes. We can all agree this fight is pure garbage, just like Pacquiao himself for begging to make this pathetic circus happen
What are you even talking about lol. Who said anything about he's better than a coach potato? Barrios just blows my man, he didn't get extra money to look terrible, he just is.
Typical casual. You’re not even reading your own nonsense earlier. Barrios clearly got paid to go easy on Pacquiao and not punish him too much. How thick are you? You still don’t get it?
I said he looked better than most people thought he would look. Your reading comprehension is not the best pal. It's late, go to bed and shake it off.
How about a robot for a referee? One that really implements rules like no holding and clinching?
Yeah I can see it now, a guy holds excessively and the robot goes in to grab the fighters arms from off the other guy and rips them clean off his body lol
Why would he be when he can become undisputed at 168 in just 1 fight and make more money by 5 times the amount than he'd make in those 3 other fights at 154.
I truly believe he didn’t train for this fight
He probably spent more time at the tailor for his outfit than training for Roach
If he didn't train he wouldn't have come in at the weight he did.
Inoue vs MJ
Get it fughin done already
Shut many of these posters up once Inoue destroys MJ proving he ain’t all that
That wasn't already proven when he lost to Tapales?
I have seen Roach fight and struggle with far lesser guys. I have seen twice now what happens when Tank doesn't Knock his opponent out, and that's go to close decisions on the cards as the A side in the fights. I always thought Shakur would frustrate him and outbox him over 12 rounds and nothing has changed except me being more positive of that happening. Unless SS has a glass chin he beats Tank in an 8-4 type decision.
The fight should be changed to a win for Roach if the judges didn't give him a 10-8 round. You can't call a fking timeout in the middle of the action and have it granted unless the ref stops the action for one reason or another. This is comical.
Serrano vs Taylor was arguably the best fight on the card tonight.
Yeah it was but in the end who cares about women's boxing really? The so called best fights a bunch of hairdressers and secretaries lol. There are like 3 women that I would bother to even tune in to watch and 2 of them happen to be in this past fight.
I wonder why the boxing world is so bent on making Taylor the "greatest female" fighter of all time? I am just at a lost at this point, i simply can't understand i, Woman head butted all night and still got out worked. I don't understand this taylor madness of forcing her to be something that she clearly isn't......
Good news is nobody gives a sh^^ about women's boxing anyways
