Wow! Yes! That was an amazing fight! What a dominant performance! Dubois may come back strong. Oleksandr Usyk is clearly the best! Great win for Oleksandr Usyk and congratulations to him on becoming the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World again! He's a class act! Oleksandr Usyk is the Greatest of this Era and truly one of the All-Time Greats!
Usyk was dominant, but showed signs of slipping due to age. His legs are not as springy and quick as they used to be. Still he is ahead on the cards vs. father time.
I didn't get how you don't get this.
By becoming the IBF Heavyweight Champion.
He brought a belt, more money and a couple of good recent wins.
Why would Usyk fight someone for less money and no title?
If he continues then he'll fight Parker. It will be ordered.
You're responding to a troll, why bother?
Even absent the belt, Dubois was TBRB #1. There was a case for Parker being next but it was marginal.
So the belt that DDD had is meaningless? The only other two fighters that have momentum out there is Parker and Kabayel. There was a reason so many were watching this fight including you.
Stop wasting your time responding to trolls. Just imagine the psychology of someone who watches that performance last night and sees logging on to a forum to shit on it as a priority. This won't be the only platform he's doing it on either. He'll be in comment sections and social media all over the internet, a total loser.
This interviewer is pretty bad
Good observation. When you're not speaking someone's first language you need to ask short, concise questions. It made for uncomfortable viewing.
Usyk would have been bigger and taller than Mike Tyson.
Tonight Usyk weighed 16.3 stone which, at a guess, is around 230lbs. Tyson in his prime, weighed between 210 and 218 pounds. Usyk is 6ft 2 and Tyson was and is 5ft 11
So with this comment are you saying that Triple D is as good as prime Mike Tyson ? And coz Uysk beat DDD he'd also probably have beat Tyson. You haven't really thought this through, have you ?
Would not matter, if Usyk ran Tyson would catch him and kill him. You aint beaten prime Tyson on the back foot.
I agree. Usyk would not get past halfway.
Prime Tyson went to distance with lesser opponents. After the first 4 rounds coming forward Tyson will walk into something big and break mentally. In the real world that fight would never have happened same reason the Foreman fight never happened.

Wow that's a level of stùpidity that I didn't think was possible even on this board. No I, very factually, didn't say that. You couldn't even infer that from my post. If you are capable, feel free to go and read it again or have an adult with a reasonable IQ explain it to you.
I was just pointing out that your incredibly simplistic view of Usyk as a fighter was completely wrong. Do you watch boxing? In his last few fights he has taken centre ring, he has bullied his opponent, not by 'trading punches' but through movement, feints, jabs, and leads and he has done that regardless of how dangerous the opponent was.
He beats Tyson, in my opinion, because he's a much better boxer than Tyson was. It's boxing, not the 'baddest man' contest. All you have wrote is Usyk beats Tyson. How ?
Tonight was Usyk's FIRST real beat-down and schooling of an elite HW
His two fights with AJ and Fury were very competitive (He won them all, but he hardly ran them outta the ring). At the time, when Usyk fought Derek Chisora, at the end of the fight I thought Usyk just done enough but would not be surprised if that was a draw. I remember it like yesterday, watching it during covid, no crowds. Many thought that in the Usyk Vs Dubois 1 fight. That was a legal shot by DDD and he should have got the belt.
So my point Usyk is has not separated himself as WAY BETTER than his peers, the way Tyson did in his prime.
I must have turned it off before this happened or was this not apart of the broadcast? Lol
Paul posted it and mentioned them doing MMA fight that has previously be mentioned on social media .
Usyk wrecks him either way lol
That con job doesnt belong in a ring with a real champ. Get that garbage outta here.
Usyk trains in kickboxing, sambo, wrestling and judo and has for years.
Honestly Jake may well be a little safer in boxing.
Correct, and Usyk would have been great in MMA. But with his talent level in boxing + the money the sport brings, it never made sense to go that route. I cannot see this happening.

There’s only one person left for Usyk now before retiring as an All Time Great.
And that name is: Ivan Drago
Usyk’s left hook needs to be put in a museum.
What a beaut.
You've just watched Usyk take centre ring against bigger men over the last few years.

He did it again tonight against a guy intent on applying pressure. A braver man you won't find.So with this comment are you saying that Triple D is as good as prime Mike Tyson ? And coz Uysk beat DDD he'd also probably have beat Tyson. You haven't really thought this through, have you ?
No, he wouldn't stand and trade with Tyson. He's too good for that. You don't need to take centre ring by trading punches if you're as good as Usyk.Would not matter, if Usyk ran Tyson would catch him and kill him. You aint beaten prime Tyson on the back foot.
I wouldn't put Tyson in the Usyk conversation personally.
I agree. Usyk would not get past halfway.
He said that before the rematch. Sensible right? On other occasions he has said Chisora or Joshua.
.
ive never heard him say chisora or joshua were his hardest fights lol
he said chisora hit him hard i remember that alrite
fury 1 was usyks hardest fight and he has said that in an interview

He gets asked a lot of questions and says a lot of things.
Personally I think that second fight was as close as anyone has run him. Through 9 I believe Joshua was ahead and had just had his best round of the two fights. Usyk brought it home convincingly from 10 on but he was definitely challenged. I think the last 3 rounds and Joshua's post fight mental collapse have made people forget what a good fight that was. Possibly the best version of Joshua that we ever saw, and just possibly a slightly diminished Usyk given what went on the buildup.
To beat prime Mike Tyson, you had to beat the **** outta of him, round after round. You have to be brave and stand and trade with him centre ring and not take a step back and test his heart and desire. Usyk doesn't fight like that.
But if Usyk did stand toe to toe with Prime Tyson ? He's dead. He would not have the power to hurt Tyson, nor would he have the power that Tyson would respect.
If Usyk got on his bike ? Even worse, Tyson's foot speed would catch him and kill him

He fights where he needs to fight.

I wouldn't put Tyson in the Usyk conversation personally. Great at his peak, but never this level of elite fighter.
