I don't feel he did do well for his age at all. Maybe he did well for a former professional boxer with nearly 60 professional fights but like Holyfield, his balance and leg strength were extremely disappointing.
Today I am sad....
- - Maybe U missed Mike's severe hospitalization for the first fight date.
All Mike had when the fight was first made after 19 years out of the ring was a puncher's champ. The last few years of Tyson's fights he had become a 4rd Butterbean 3 Ring Circus type of fighter only fighting for the 10s of mil$ he was clearing.
Serrano vs Taylor was arguably the best fight on the card tonight.
Yeah it was but in the end who cares about women's boxing really? The so called best fights a bunch of hairdressers and secretaries lol. There are like 3 women that I would bother to even tune in to watch and 2 of them happen to be in this past fight.
A single fight. Name another
How many fights has Mike felt he had no chance but was fighting for the pay cheque(admittedly large ones)?
Probably these two fights and the Lewis one Mike knew in his heart he was done as an over cooked steak for dinner......
Bellew would do it for sure
I think they should let Mayorga in there just for the build up alone lol
Mayorga is about 50 and is tiny he would get waxed worse than Mike.
So nobody talking about Tyson biting his glove? Which he never had done? Lol
Watch the McBride fight he was doing this. It's a sign of panic or nervousness.
God, what an absolute melt Serrano's trainer is.
How do you behave like that as a grown up?
He's a street guy and it's boxing I wouldn't expect anything less.
He did well for his age I expected him to be gassed in a round, for his dignity it was the best outcome I didnt want to see Mike get knocked out like Holyfield.

Unrelated, but how do you think Claressa Shields would fair against Vonda Ward, Laila Ali and Anne Wolfe.
Vonda Ward?
The last time I saw her fight somebody with a pulse she was looking like a female Tye Fields..
I’m glad Paul didn't try to KO Mike...it would have made me sick. Tyson gets his 20 million...Paul gets his 40 million, and there both happy. This was never going to be anything other than what it was. That's hard to do at 58 years old.
Wow…is this true?
Netflix got fleeced. $60 million spent between a sideshow and a fighter whose best days were 40 years ago. That’s insane that Paul was able to negotiate that with the heads of that streaming service.
Netflix is NOT staying in the boxing business. This is a one off. Only reason they did this was because of the curiosity factor. If they stay in the boxing game, it’ll be because of Paul’s selection of opponents, but they’re not going to start putting cards like PBC with Amazon. Amazon’s probably a year into their endeavor with Al Haymon and seeing everything going down in flames with Tszyu’s implosion and how they went into the red by overpaying Canelo. Boxing is an expensive investment with little to no return. Way too much risk.
Credits to Mike Tyson for taking this fight even if he lost. Like King Floyd, he fought a boxer who was more widely known in another discipline for his final pro fight.
This is the way of a true king.
JP vs Wilder and maybe Wilder can redeem himself to boxing community, boxing YouTube and internet boxing critics and make his career high in purses. Sad that Jake made more money than any boxer this year.
And this was why they made this fight 2 minute rounds... Because had it been 3 minute rounds Tyson would have died of a heart attack.

"Mike Tyson Admits Jake Paul Caused Him 'A Lot Of Pain' By Stepping On His Toe Ahead Of Fight :crying:"

:crying:
I would be very surprised if he fights either
It's always a gimmick with Jake
Maybe de la hoya who is older and smaller and abused his body
Edit wait bellow is only 41 yeah hell no Jake isn't fighting him
Bellew would smoke him, obviously
He's 41 and 6 years retired but that's not too much. He's kept himself in decent shape.
even though he lost to Usyk and retired, he probably could've carried on a couple of more years at a good level.
So there's basically no chance Paul is fighting a 41 year old former WBC champ that arguably could've still been hanging around at world or euro level until a few years ago.
He should be fighting someone like Vidal Riley really
No chance
Tommy Fury was about as high up the actual boxing chain as Jake would dare to go and he still lost, and Tommy Fury was fighting with one good hand.
Jake will keep finding a new opponent that offers very little threat but still makes a decent nights pay.
KSI will be the big one eventually.
Paul is a good salesman, thats his whole gig. He's also self aware and pretty smart and knows he isn't beating any real boxer if he can't beat Tommy Fury. Obviously he's not gonna say it, but he knows it.
