What do yall think? This is a clear 10-8 round. The ref even gave him a timeout.
The definition of lame
Keep playing playstation or whatever game your fill your brain with it, it should setve you well in the future. And you still missing the point.
When I mentioned how lame that 10-8 would have been, you tried to one up it by mentioning another lame AF 10-8 rd.
You're missing the point, lame or not it should have counted as a knockdown and probably another point for going to his corner or DQ,.
You're a fanatic with your own rules, not a fan. It was more than two seconds, (25.30 seconds passed from the moment he took a knee and the time the ref reinitiated the bout) here we can see how wrong and biased you are, and even if it was only two seconds, he couldn't stop the action because he needed to wipe his forehead after taking a knee. I follow boxing, not TheProudLunatic, so I'm sure we no longer need to discuss this subject. Be safe.

You're missing the point. Lame has nothing to do with the rules. Then again, if you choose not to understand, it is on you.

If being a fan = weeping over an unorthodox 2 second time out, then you're 100000% correct :)

Goes on to compare lame AF 10-8 rds.....

I'm not comparing; I'm just telling you that Floyd's was lamer than Davis's, and it was counted as a knockdown..

So
You're comparing lame as fck 10-8 rds with each other
This is too essy
I'm not comparing; I'm just telling you that Floyd's was lamer than Davis's, and it was counted as a knockdown. Davis went down, turned his back to the opponent, went to his corner, asked to be cleaned out, and almost returned to the action without letting his corner man wipe his face, I think he got to wipe his forehead. Yes, it was lame, on Davis's part, but it should have been a point deducted (the knockdown would have covered that) or DQ.
It doesn't matter. Roach threw a flick jab which landed then Davis took a knee. If you take a knee that's a 10-8 for the opponent
Even without landing, if he takes a knee is either 10-8 or he looses the fight if he gives his back to the opponent and go to his corner, takes his head out of the ring and the seconds climb the mat.
It wasn't the first timeout now that I think of it.
If you remember Round 8 of Davis-Hector Garcia, there was a commotion in the crowd that caused the referee to inexplicably step in and stop the action for at least a minute or two. I say inexplicably because I've been at events, we've all watched events, where there have been multiple fights going on in the stands and the fight in the ring was never halted.
I believe it happened right after Garcia had a minor moment of success landing a shot that got Tank's attention.
You haven't seen enough boxing to say that. Floyd hit Hernandez and took a knee because of the pain, it was a rule correctly a knockdown, then you have the other side of the coin, he got hit hard and stumbled where one of his gloves touched the canvas, the referee didn't count. No, it wouldn't be the lamest 10-8, but it is another black eye for boxing.

For the millionth time
It would have been the lamest 10-8 rd in the history of the sport.

You have been so passioned about it that I thought it was your friend, my bad and my apology. The rules are clear, you take a voluntary knee, and it is an automatic point deduction counted as a knockdown, you turn your back and walk away, and it is a DQ. Why you're going out of your way to defend such blatant corruption is beyond my understanding, and now we learned that the NY commission was lying when they stated they couldn't review the knockdown.

Exactly!
He should be punished.
Just like every fighter who has touched down. Right??
If its just Tank you want punished i have to ask why?
Because he did it, is not that reason enough?
- - Davis quit to flee to his corner where he was coddled with a towel. This ain't as bad as l'l floydy running crying to he crack daddy about his l'l pinky getting bit by Maidana when Floydy had him in a headlock shoving his glove up his mouth to choke him out.
Poor officiating and overall oversight of the the sport is why boxing has become such a fringe sport.
