I laughed when they said that Barrios is the only champion at 147 that Manny can beat. I think he beats all of them not named Norman. He beats Rolly. He beats PTSD Haney He beats Cryan. He beats Paddy/Crocker winner. He beats Shakur/Benn winner. They should make Tank vs Manny happen in Nov/Dec since both are coming off draws. Pacman -tank is a big dollar fight and a very exciting that guaranteed fireworks.

That would be slightly too ridiculous. Barrios isn't losing his belt to a 46 year old coming straight out of retirement. This was a very convenient outcome. Good story, an event people are talking about, Barrios praised for how respectful he was, Manny praised for his performance. If this was an exhibition then everyone would be saying Barrios was carrying Manny. Because it was a title fight, people can't believe that it was scripted. What? Boxing couldn't be shady? Of course it could. so they gonna rig the fight but say "hey, let's just make it a draw"???? While we don’t always agree, what I respect about you as a poster is understanding the sport of boxing vs. the business of boxing. This fight was always about the business but you treated it like the sport. You felt he looked better than this before and it felt like he tried to lose and accidentally had a draw. I figured this was the case when the fight was signed, which is why I picked Manny to win. I’m surprised a guy like you didn’t see it the same way.

People talking about "Barrios got exposed" are crazy. There was never anything to expose! Dude hit the lottery when Thurman passed on the Ugas fight - Barrios was next in line, and when they got in the ring it turned out that Ugas was a shell of himself. That's it. He's been hanging out fighting soft touches, waiting to sell that belt to the highest bidder. If there's no Pac rematch, I wouldn't be surprised if its Conor Benn cruising to a UD against him next. Benn ain't making 147, get real.

Damn...Manny impressed the hell out of me! I never expected him to look 1/2 as good as he did! I almost was afraid to watch it, thinking he would be in horrible shape, but he defied his age. He almost pulled off a major upset...just a touch more energy in the 12th would have sealed it. But still, a draw against a 30-year-old Champion was super impressive at 46 after what was a coming out of retirement fight and just a 2-month training camp. Manny is a true legend!
