Im tired of reading guys saying crap like, "I told you Bute was overrated, but no one listened to me". Or "Bute has a glass chin". Froch is one of my top 5 fav fighters, but Bute didnt go down one time in that fight. Yeah he got that ass whipped, but in order to take shots like that for 5 rounds has to say something about him. He didnt go down with one shot!!! Even in the 5th round ta king all those shots, the ropes helped but he didnt go down so he has somewhat of a ability to take a shot. Allan Green is the definition of a glass chin. Bute took Glen Johnsons shots all 12 rounds, kicked Edison Mirandas ass, who has somewhat of a decent punch, and that Librado Andrade first fight we as a fluke, kind of like Wladimir against Brewster one. They both came back and Ko'd their guys. So stop all the damn hating, Bute is still a top fighter. More like a B world class fighter rather than a A world class fighter. Dude obviously has some skills, but that chin will forever be tainted, no doubt. Anyone who understands anything about boxing, or has fought before, im pretty sure will agree with me on this. At 32 though, I dont know if he can come back from this defeat against A level fighters.

If your a avid boxing fan and you actually know the sport's in and out's then Im sure you have heard of Bert Sugar. Dude is considered boxing royalty mainly because of his damn hat and cigar, but the more I read things this guy says the more his reputation dwindles away. He is supposed to be the most knowledgable sportswriter in boxing yet this last article on boxingscene he called Mayorga a "great fighter". Are you kidding me Bert??? And its just not that article either, if you ever see him on ESPN's boxing classic everything he says about a fight or fighter is ass backwards. I just think he lives on his image for being in the fight game for so long. His sense of humor is horrible too. Im sure I'll get backlash from some on this thread, but I guarantee theres some true boxing fans who know what im talking about.

Every fight manny has some hater on here is always talking about he's going to get exposed for the last 5 or 6 fights. Eventually, if he keeps fighting at a high activity rate, yeah he will lose and then the threads will be flooded with see I told you so, and he finally got exposed, and I told you he was never that good. Its a no win situation for that dude, so Im just fore warning all you Pacman fans on here to be expecting that because if he loses anytime soon, its coming.

That first fight with Castillo should have been Money's first loss. The numbers dont lie. I know his record says he's undefeated, but in my eyes, and this is just my humble opinion, he has one loss.

As great as he is even Pacman is still human. Pwill will outweigh him by fight night around the same amount that Margarito did or a little less. Pwill and Sergio Martinez are both just to big for Pac to be messing with. Every boxer has their limitations and Pwill and Martinez are Manny's limits. Im not saying their are better than manny, but at some point roach and koncz have to realize he is afterall human and they need to make sure that they dont bite more than he can chew. Between Pwill and Manny, if that fight was to happen and go the distance, over 2200 punches would be thrown with around 1000 of those landing between the both of them.

About 95 percent of the people on this site have no clue about boxing so its only those remaining 5 percent that actually know all the aspects of boxing that I want to hear from on this matter. Seriously though I think Spinks is a clone of Mayweather except for the fact that Spinks HAS A QUESTIONABLE CHIN AND DOES NOT HAVE NEAR THE POWER THAT FLOYD HAS, I think they fight somewhat similiar. Both have very fast hands, both can punch from crazy angles, and both are defensive whiz's. What do all you home skillets think????

Why do all the so called pactards (a term that I hate because it sounds stupid as hell) and Flomos (another retarded ass nickname) argue so damn much. Its one thing to have a civlized debate and stand up for your guy using valid statistics and facts but damn this has gotten out of control. I bet if some of the people on here put as much energy into their jobs as they do into this website, they could all be CEO's. The fact is it will all be settled when they do fight. Both are great fighters, and although I dont agree with how Floyd acts like a immature hoodrat, you have to admit the dude is a great boxer. Same thing with Manny, the dude has gotten ten times better since even the david diaz fight. Personally I think if Manny had already agreed to take a blood test immediately after the fight was over, then I have no clue whatsoever as to why that wasnt good enough for Floyd. It doesnt make sense. As far as the fight goes I can see Floyd catching Manny and seriously hurting him. On the other hand if Manny hurts Floyd just one time in the fight and realizes he has the power to do so, that will be all she wrote. Im a Manny and Mayweather fan and I know there are more like me on this site. You can recognize us easily. We are the ones who arent threatening other dudes over who is better, manny or floyd. Just chill people, but if this is your life and thats all you have to live for then do your thing. But damn if thats the case you have alot more issues and problems to solve than who is better between floyd and manny.

Im neither a Floyd or Manny fan. But to all you people, especially the one who started the thread stated something to the effect of if you reject a test for steroids your guilty. The man is not rejecting being tested, he gets tested before and after every fight hes ever been in and has never once failed or came close to being considered suspicious. What the hell is wrong with you people. He's already said he will be tested three times and they can urine test him all they want. I mean seriously folks, are you that hard up or have that much hatred for the man that you reach that far for saying he's avoiding it? Use common sense. He has not once said I refuse to be tested for steroids. This should end this debate once and for all on this site. Talk about something else.

When people start talking about a certain fighter being in his prime, what they are really talking about is how good the fighter was up until their first loss. People always talk about a Prime tyson being the baddest man ever to lace up the gloves. Well when he got that ass knocked out in 1990 by Buster Douglas, he was in his prime. That was as prime as he was ever going to get. That is why tyson was overrated. He was like 25 or 26 when that happened. It doesnt get any more prime than that. So to all you Tyson "nuthuggers" (that appears to be the term that everyone on here likes to use), take tyson for what he was. An average HW that had above average power. A 20 year old Tyson couldnt even knock out James "Quick" Tillis. Tillis was knocked out by Tommy Morrison in the first round. No way he should be a Hall of Famer. His greatest win was probably beating a old ass Larry Holmes or a blown up cruiserweight named Michael Spinks. Holyfield beat that ass, Lewis beat that ass, but oh yeah he beat the Trevor Berbicks, and the Pinklon thomas's, and the Peter Mcneelys of the world. Maybe if there were a separate Hall of Fame for boxings biggest punchers then maybe he could make that, along with the David tua's, and the tommy morrison's, and the Hasim Rahmans of the world.

Joshua Clottey outclassed Cotto in every aspect in that fight. He was quicker, stronger and had more endurance. Cut or no cut, Cotto is not the same 12 round fighter he used to be. After the Mosley fight, he suddenly became human again. He doesnt have the stamina, legs or pop in his punches that he had say 2 or 3 years ago. He has the Hatton syndrome. To many rounds and wear and tear on his body. If Clottey was to fight Cotto again, and if Clottey actually showed a little heart, he could win 8 or 9 rounds, and maybe even TKO Cotto in the championship rounds. No way Cotto won that fight. It reminded me of the Chris John-Rocky Juaraz fight. John wins that fight by 3, 4 or even 5 rounds everytime I watch it.

Just to make a quick point about wlads chin. He has never truley been counted out in any of his losses. He has never been hurt so bad that he hasnt able to get back up. You cant say that about Lewis or Tyson.

Tough Question. Joe had alot more power back then too because his hands werent all that jacked up.

Corrie Sanders is really the only person to really hurt Wlad and even then he couldnt put him down for the ten count. Lamon Brewster during their first fight never even landed a solid shot that hurt Wlad. The guy was so exhausted he fell. We all saw what a healthy in shape Wlad did to Brewster the second fight. His chin is about average for a heavyweight. Brock, Austin, Peter, McCline, Tony Thompson, those guys have decent power and couldnt put him away. To all you Klitschko haters, dont get mad at this posting, its just facts man. You cannot dispute facts.

I think Taylor is going to win but not sure. Its kind of like Pavlik vs Abraham, it could go either way. But Pavlik is my boy, I hope he pulls it off if they ever fight.

Anybody with any kind of boxing sense knows that John controlled that whole fight except for maybe the last two rounds. Juarez's face says it all. Chris John had a little cut and that was about it. John landed over 100 more punches than Rocky.
