Im tired of reading guys saying crap like, "I told you Bute was overrated, but no one listened to me". Or "Bute has a glass chin". Froch is one of my top 5 fav fighters, but Bute didnt go down one time in that fight. Yeah he got that ass whipped, but in order to take shots like that for 5 rounds has to say something about him. He didnt go down with one shot!!! Even in the 5th round ta king all those shots, the ropes helped but he didnt go down so he has somewhat of a ability to take a shot. Allan Green is the definition of a glass chin. Bute took Glen Johnsons shots all 12 rounds, kicked Edison Mirandas ass, who has somewhat of a decent punch, and that Librado Andrade first fight we as a fluke, kind of like Wladimir against Brewster one. They both came back and Ko'd their guys. So stop all the damn hating, Bute is still a top fighter. More like a B world class fighter rather than a A world class fighter. Dude obviously has some skills, but that chin will forever be tainted, no doubt. Anyone who understands anything about boxing, or has fought before, im pretty sure will agree with me on this. At 32 though, I dont know if he can come back from this defeat against A level fighters.
Bute actually went down twice just before the fight was stopped but he was saved by the ropes on both occasions. Just because he didn't touch the floor doesn't mean anything, the fact is the ropes prevented him from hitting the floor and that's all there is to it.
I mentioned that in my post, I said the roped helped him stay upright, but what im saying is its somewhat of a moral victory to go out on your feet than it is on your back. Either way its a KO, I agree, just alluding to the fact that the dude didnt go out on his back with his arms at his side.

I agree, he was a paper champ. Good definition, but again the dude has skills, and your right not the best D. He moves his head alot, but is easy to cut off the ring on him. And yeah, he was definately on the way to the canvas when the ref jumped in, but I still give the guy respect.
Overrated huh?? By who? IBF World Champion not good enough for you homeskillet. Damn you got me defending Bute who is not a fav. fighter of mine. Like your boy Floyd likes to say, Im talking to a guy who has never laced them up or fought in the ring, so I would expect you to say something like a former world champ was overrated, lied too, or whatever other BS you said. Not asking you to suck his Dic*!!! He got his ass whipped, but he had good enough skills to take the IBF belt.
had the ref not jumped in, Bute was hitting the deck in the 5th
he looked like he was about to die
hell he spanked Andrade all night and still rightfully got KTFO
Bute can fight some, but he has no defense
and he was cruising while everyone else was in the super 6
his resume isn't good, he was a soft paper champ
