amount of floyd/hatton threads leading up to the fight??
Not really, no. It's the build up to the one of the biggest fights of the century so far so naturally theres going to be a massive overload of threads discussing it. Over the last few weeks I've only been reading the Floyd/Hatton threads.
This all boils down to excuses before the result in my eyes. Floyd fans have started to notice Hattons intensity and power and have started to, basically, shit themselves stupid. Excuses are flowing just in case. Sore hands, crooked ref, bought judges, all excuses.
Hatton hasn't even got the job done yet kids, chillax and let the fight flow.
On that note, just to put it out there, as much as I like BHop as a fighter and as a person, there's no way he's beating Calzaghe. Just no way.
Pound 4 Pound, Calzaghe is the best all around fighter on the planet.
Not many can adapt to any given situation and come out above all else.
Okay, so he's not the hardest hitter in the world, call him a slapper, but who cares how hard you hit when you can throw 1,000 to the average persons 10.
Oh come on lad. BHop isn't a racist, he's just caught up in a culture that thinks its okay to openly talk about whites negatively. I mean we did enslave his race ffs.
There's loads of black fighters who insult other fighters race. It's considered to be morally acceptable so it's said to provoke, not to belittle an entire race.
Nah, I disagree. I got B-hop, even at his current age of 63. Hopkins is a legend, the ageless wonder
Hopkins could be 63, 43, 103 or 23. Joe Calzaghe would dance with the stars all over BHops legacy.
Smokin Joe demands respect.
He gave rice and beans to tito. Stomped on the Puerto Rican flag. What happened? Every Puerto Rican and their mama ordered the PPV!!!
Hopkins is smarter than the average bear, thats for sure.
NO THAT WASN'T A RACIAL SLUR MMKAY.
I said bear, not monkey.
MMA is a fad. They have no stars. There is no science to it, it's first punch first serve. It's all quick, short, shocks. It's the Jackass generation looking for the next fix.
Like someone said, all their "stars" have recently been beaten, MMA can never have real superstars because it's anybodies ballgame. Let it be, it will pass.
De La Hoya has no reason to fight Hatton, he has nothing to prove and doesn't need money. Though I would love to see that fight.
I wouldn't want to see Hatton/Mayweather, I detest Mayweather and can't bring myself to watch him anymore.
Hatton/Cotto would be magic.
No doubt about it considering MMA news is reported just as much as wrestling news on Wrestling News sites. Every wrestling forum on the net has a special little corner to discuss MMA.
Hatton could very well knock Mayweather out.
I personally think he's more likely to get a decision though. Theres no way Mayweather will knock Hatton out, Hattons heart wont let it happen. The only way Mayweather is winning is by TKO because Hattons face loves to cut up. Mayweather wont get a decision over Hatton and he 100% will not knock him out.
If Hatton doesn't cut to death, he will win this fight. Hatton will overpower, out punch and bring the fight to Mayweather throughout. Mayweather has seen nothing like Hatton.
Theres Danes on here?
I don't really think we shut them up, Kessler showed he's a fucking warrior last night... Calzaghe just did what I always expected he would do, prove he is far superior to any SMW in the history of the sport.
Being beaten by someone as classy as Calzaghe isn't a bad thing.
As much as anyone can say about Hatton and as fat as he gets in between fights, we all know he wouldn't turn up to any fight out of shape, let alone the biggest fight of his career.
