They thought that he needed to be at 147 to be effective against a BIG welterweight in Collazo. When you are fixed on fighting a certain style in Juan Lazcano - 140lbs - orthodox. And at 2 weeks before fight night, the opponent pulls out then it has a BIG effect on a fighter. Hatton had a tough night with Luis Collazo but in MY OPINION won 6-7 rounds plus the knock down.

It's not that, and I respect Mayweather as I said in other threads, it's the fact that he has done enough to secure his rep. as an elite fighter so now is the time to go out with a bang. That's all the people ask for. I can respect people wanting him to go out with a bang but for all the fights people want to see him yall can't place all the blame on PBF for those fights not happening. Its on record that Hatton didn't want the fight a few years ago. Its on record that Mosley didn't want the fight for a vaction once and on the second offer Mosley said he had a tooth ache. Arum probably didn't want to put Cotto in with him so soon. With all that said all the blame can never really be placed on one fighter for certain fights not happening. I know somebody will say something about Margarito but that was a BS fight that didn't need to be made honestly speaking IMO.
