This was my posted top five p4p list two days ago:
1. Mannie Pacquiao
2. Joe Calzaghe
3. Ricky Hatton
4. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
5. Kelly Pavlik
Two fights down, one to go.
this list is a joke and you know it...
what are you basing it on?
skill? achievements?
floyd has done it in 5 weight classes!!!!!
he is also the most skilled boxer in in the sport..
ricky hatton and kelly pavilk make your list a joke!!
number 1! if weight were not an issue calzaghe would beat pacquia and mayweather!
Yes, that is my criteria as well. Based on that view, Joe is the best fighter in the world today. I would even favor him to beat Pacquiao given they were the same weight. If Floyd can beat up Hatton, or vice versa, then I may be forced to make an adjustment.
Until then...Calzaghe is boxing.
How can Hopkins possibly be ahead of Calzaghe?
Hopkins has lost 2 of his last 4. His win over Tarver was good, but Tarver was complete shit that night, and only became a name for beating a chinny old Jones.
Wright was a lightmiddle, and not a dangerous one at that.
Hopkins was top 3 some years ago, but not now.
I have already had Calzaghe at number 4 in my list before the fight. He is an all time great SMW but can you really sit there and tell me he belongs with names like Louis, Ali, Leonard, and Robinson?
If he's considered the greatest SMW of all time then he's an all time great. But, BPP already posted one very good article, I know you saw it, that says exactly what I've been saying...ie...that if Cal won tonight his place as ATG is assured. I'll ask you: How can an undefeated 10+ year reign, and second all time title defense record (behind only Joe Louis) be ignored? Answer: It can't.
Well, skils, I'm two for two thus far. You were saying earlier today that a Calzaghe win tonight "in no way skyrockets him to ATG status." I'm afraid that it has. And even you are now talking about Calzaghe in the top ten p4p. Am I right?

Thats mine atm. Might change befor the year out thou. I'd rate Floyd higher if he wasnt as boring as his last few fights and allways running.
