Easy night for Miranda. If Pavlik can get knocked down by a couple of welter weights with little power, I can only imagine what one of the p4p hardest punchers in boxing is gonna do!! I see Pavlik falling face first on the canvas and not moving for 2-3 minutes. It's gonna be brutal, but it will be nice to shutup up these blinded fans that think he has proven something by a record as padded as Tye Fields! Miranda by KO in 1-3 rounds.
We'll see. All Pavlik has to do is deal with Mirandas initial aggression.
I don't think Smoger was wrong by letting the fight continue but he shouldn't have let Miranda get that extra rest when he spit his mouth piece out. He should have made him fight and wait until a break in the action. I think that was what Larry was pissed about.
his chin is great.... alot of people would've been stopped long beofre Miranda was stopped...
his chin is good...
I think we all saw that he has a suspect chin. OK, maybe you can say it's good. No, he didn't go to sleep but he get's wobbled pretty easy and I think his chin will always be a problem for him expecially when he fights a big puncher thats not afraid to push the fight. Green believed the hype and Pavlik didn't!
They both seemed to tire pretty quickly to me. Pavlik still would have won by KO if they were both 100% because he had a smart ass game plan and stuck by it.
Taylor doesn't want Pavlik. He knew the winner was sappose to fight him and he couldn't just say "Yes,Pavliks next." He left an excuse out there when people ask why he isn't fighting Pavlik, he can say "Money!"
He has more fans now because he's more mainstream and I like him because he shut the loud mouth up. He bullied the bully!
He gave me bad karma for saying that about Kelly Pavlik.

apperently DiBella and Palle is meeting face-to-face
I believe taylor vs kessler would have a better chance of happening for the simple fact kessler would go to the US to fight him where Calzaghe seems to want everybody to run to him.
Your probably right. I doubt Taylor goes overseas. Taylor is a lot like Calzaghe though because he likes to have most of his fights in his home state of Arkansas.
Hey Irish....I am hearing that Jimbo might do a show at the Centrum with Jose in the main event. Nothing set yet, though.
Good, I hope he keeps it up. He is a huge inspiration to the average joe that hold's down a job, supports his family, and want's to make it big in boxing. He made it and he’s from Mass. baby!
He's a legend skillwise without a doubt IMO.
Skill wise you can say he's a legend, but not by the quality of the fighters he's fought except for a few. He shouldn't retire after Oscar!
I think it would be a good fight but Joe won't destroy Taylor. Taylor getting a win would depend on whether or not Taylor could handle going up in weight.
I hate merchant but kellerman isn't the best to replace him because he's just as annoying. Either way I'm sick of merchant and can't wait to stop hearing his shitty interviews.
There are more people that think he hasn't fought the "best" and he just runs his mouth, then there are people that think his record is impressive. Don't get me wrong his skills are crazy and he is my favorite boxer but I would hate for him to go out and not have fought the best. To me if he were to beat Sugar Shane he would be among the best and not just remembered as one of the most skilled fighters.
Well he has never lost and so far he has pretty much beaten everybody easily with the exception of a few fights. So we really couldn't judge if he has courage and heroisim. I know some say that he hasn't fought the best and you may be right, but he has beaten some quality opponents.
To say he is a legend now would be a little premature. His skills are probably legendary, but IMO he needs some more big fights to become a true legend.
well said and I think Sugar shane would be a huge test for Floyd but will he be willing to test himself?
What do people think of the judge who had it 115-113 for DLH?
Do you guys not think he should be investigated?
I think that judge was horrible. Floyd clearly won. Oscar just didn't fight his fight, he fought floyds fight.
Very entertaining fight, the tension was incredible,it wasnt a war,but i think most smart boxing fans knew it wasnt gna be a war,it didnt have to be,it was a very good fight, the undercard was bullshit but hey,i didnt wanna see it anyway
Good point, it was a entertaining fight for REAL BOXING FANS. People that just watched it because of all the hype are the one's mad!
the sweet science doesn't always involve violence.
i understand why mayweather became more defensive as he moved up weightclasses. who wants to take hits from men naturally bigger than you?
Good point!
