Anyone See how as soon as Taylor fired Pat Burns his Jab Disappeared into thin air?
If he would have kept the trainer that got him here You think He'd be doing better?
Would you keep your AM Trainer after you made it BIG?
I think Stewart wasn't the right trainer for Jermaine...He needs to Hire Pat Burns bakc and get that old style training back.
I'm starting to think Em. Stewart fucked up taylor. Pat burns was Hard and tough on Taylor and wouldn't let him slack... I dunno about now.
Yall do realize that Taylor wasn't listening to shit E. Steward was telling him. Steward was cussing Taylor's ass out damn near the whole fight for not doing what he was telling him to do. I never blame the trainer if the fighter doesn't do what the trainer is telling is telling them to do I place that blame on the fighter.
I'm tellin ya man Right after the Freddy Cuevas fight on ESPN wit Pat Burns (Scored 2 knockdowns and ridicolous amount of jabs thrown and high percentage landed) He stopped using the jab right after the hopkins set of fights..
Pat burns would have kept him the beast that he was.
I totally agree, great stuff. Burns is not your typical amatuer trainer having been an Olympic team coach.
Thats funny, cause Steward usually makes his fighters fight behind the jab and keep the lead hand up in the face(thats why he loves training big, tall fighters)But I agree, Steward did not make Taylor better.
I was excited at first but not anymore.. its kinda sad.
I would stick with whoever got me to the top. I'm just loyal like that.
all Boxers should think this way... I mean you can have the big names come help you out but not completely fire your trainer that got you to the BigTimes.
I actually agree. Manny didnt make Taylor any better.
