He was stood infront of Wlad with his hands down for half the fight wanting him to open up. Wlad didn't it was jab, jab, step back. Wlad may have had the centre of the ring but he fought just as scared as Haye. Wlad was fighting for a points decision, Haye was waiting for an opening that never came (wrong tactics). Both failed to deliver what they had promised.
What the fug are you talking about? Are you fugging serious? Did you see the fight?
Haye stayed on the outside the whole fight, until the final round. His tactic was to stay outside and jump in occasionally, but all he did was stay on the outside.
Haye did not want to get punished or get koed so he decided it would be better to look good and lose rather than look bad and maybe just maybe win.
Nobody cares Haye lost. What they care about is, this fugger didn't leave it all on the line, he barely took any chances at all.
He did not go to war. Fug Haye. Guys an idiot.
dunno, never seen robinson against anyone that fast, or a southpaw
i doubt it would be easy for either one
THe thing is SRR fought every possible opponent around his weight limit. He regularly fought people outweighing him by quite a lot.
Pac at his prime was insane though. He was not that easy to hit, like people are suggesting. He would slip in and out, quite a bit.
Still, SRR's footwork, power, boxing, hooks and those straight shots, should mean he would beat Pac, perhaps even easily. But SRR does appear to be the greatest.
2 reasons.
1) Pac is old and past it.
2) Floyd fought completely different to Pac than all his other opponents. He didn't go into a defensive shoulder roll for the first few rounds, instead, he smartly adjusted his game plan. I've never seen Floyd use his shoulder roll position so little in any fight.
Gotta give Floyd credit for that.
In American no one trusts Ricans. Some of them like, 1 or 2% are okay, but the rest are known to be h0m0s, rapists, thieves, and murderers. People say Ricans don't like to work, just rape and steal.
Cotto is a h0m0 so its a weird validation of what ppl say about Ricans. In my neighbourhood there was a big problem because Ricans were going around robbing everyone.
Adonis can beat him. Its a closer fight than people think.
Kovalev is a great fighter, but he's not impossible to hit, and Adonis has greater one punch power than even Kovalev. Its a good fight, obviously. I think Kovalev would win, perhaps by decision or late stoppage, but I could easily see Adnois koing Kovalev in the middle of the fight.
OMG, can you imagine if FLoyd dies in the ring this May 2? God forbid. But I have a feeling a big time fighter is going to die too, this year. Very strong feeling. In fact, I already know. I had a vision.
I would rather die than share that picture.
My dignity for a 1 in 50 million shot at a million dollars?
Suck on these nuts.
Hahaha, lol, same. I'd feel like such a huge tool.
I would assume the network would be decided depending on who wins the purse bid.
Thats not how it works. There will have to be an agreement, which can happen.
Looks like Adonis saw something he liked, he saw a vulnerability.
Adonis hits waaaaay harder than Pascal. Its a great great fight.
Well Maidana himself admitted that Jesisto Lopez almost Koed him, that if Lopez didn't back down when Maidana was badly hurt, he would've stopped him.
But Lopez backed off for some reason, perhaps, he thought it is better to not go for it, and just box.
And Maidana was down multiple times against Ortiz, too. He doesn't really fight any big punchers Maidana, while Rios has proven his chin is rock solid.
An impossible fight to call, but perhaps Rios would destroy Maidana. Rios is a lot more awkward that people realise, and he could just get on the inside and beat the crap out of Maidana, Ko him within a few rounds.
Fight will never happen obviously, same trainer, and different promo firms, plus neither of them would ever take it anyway. Rios ducked Ruslan. And like I said Maidana doesn't fight big punchers, and is a bit of a cherry picker, even backing out of an agreed fight with Tim Bradley like a coward.
‘Also, a lot went wrong for me in that Super Six final. I was looking forward to appearing in Madison Square Garden but it was moved to Atlantic City .Out on the shore in the cold of mid-winter. Disappointing. The date was pushed back so I had to hang around in America a lot longer than planned. It ended up a week before Christmas and my mind was on getting home to the family instead of the fight.
LMAO, Froch always full of pathetic excuses.
3 million on NBC is absolutely TINY! That is freaking nothing at all. A buncha old folk that left their TV on while they fell asleep on the couch. This is not going to excite anyone, or make NBC a believer in Haymon at all.
If not Khan, I'd like to see Brook fight Thurman. How does this fight go?
Brook has already said he would never fight Thurman.
Brook is not that long at all. He's 5'9 pretty average for a WW. Also average speed and no foot movement. He's not that good.
He had to clinch more than any fighter alive to beat Porter. Thurman KOs Brook.
Seen Erol fight many times. Nothing but another hype job. Has no speed. Very slow in fact. Tends to keep his hands down.
Lots of WWs would beat him. Theres a reason he has not made a move in boxing. Another Mike Jones waiting to happen.
Floyd is an slow feather fisted old man. Thurman would KO him easily. That fight never happens.
Anyways, Thurman keeps talking about facing a real WW, but fights Guerrero? LMAO.
Bika is moving up from 168 and is coming towards the end of his career, he's too aggressive and reckless to survive against Stevenson imo.
If he is aggressive than, I agree. I'm worried he'll jut go into survival mode, like Bundu against Thurman, or something.
Is this Bika's first fight at 168? I think I'll put money on Stevenson to KO him. Got a feeling about it.
For fugs sake.
I may not like the snake Haymon, but at least he knows how to put on a fight. He knows its not good business for fights to start so god damned late every time. You'll never pull in anybody but the absolute most hardcore.
I don't get why it's so fugging hard to get it right. At least Haymon is smart enough to do away with ring walks, and start fights on time, in a timely fashion.
Bika is tough as nails and a very awkward fighter and never been stopped before so you never know. If Stevenson does knock him out people have to give him some credit.
The bookies have it more likely that Stevenson will Ko him rather than decision him, but like you said he has never been Koed yet. Still, Bika is so overmatched, I kinda feel like putting money on the Stevenson KO.
I'd like to put some money down, but I guess this is too risky. I really wanted to put money on Russel and Brook KO last weekend, but I ended up going to party. Oh well.
Brook has never been this ripped. And frankly he looks to have the vascular definition that PED users have. AND boxing training is 90% cardio, so a lot of your muscles tend to be burned away, that is unless you are throwing in some PEDS.
