Floyd eventually figured out Zab, but many had Judah leading at the six round mark. So he was in the fight up until the 8th, 9th round on the scorecards before Floyd walked him down and took his heart out.
Judah was a southpaw with speed. If he could give Floyd some problems than why not Pac? Just curious. Pac hits harder than 2005 Judah and quicker
Some are making it seem like Floyd just dominates from the start. Im not saying he wouldn't win, just saying it won't be that easy/
Marquez is used to Pac's style because they had fought twice already. This would be Floyd's first time fighting Pac and he is a southpaw
Lmao I always laughed at the whole "Floyd has trouble with southpaws" argument. His toughest fights were against orthodox fighters. Once you get to the truly elite level that Mayweather is on, the stance of the opponent is irrelevant. It's the individual fighter that causes problems. Judah would give Floyd the same kind of fight if he was a righty. It was him doing the work not his stance.
Funny how even Judah did better than #48 and he is suppose to be the fighter with mental issues.
Even the mentally unstable Vic Ortiz fought with more passion and effort before going full retard. I think he threw 150 punches in only four rounds while Manny threw 400 in 12...lol.
Two mental midgets in Ortiz & Zab gave Floyd a tougher fight than #48.
Judah was up 3-3 + KD (or down 2-4 + KD if you insist). Pacquiao was 3-3 or 2-4 going into the 7th.
Difference is Pacquiao made it close until the end, Judah just folded up like a lawn chair like usual after the 6th.
Don't really see how he did better in any way.
Nothing was close about it Pac won 3 rounds AT MOST 4,6, aaaaand I'm not even sure what the other round was that I felt generous enough to give him... in order to have a fight close you have to get on some sort of roll string some rounds together, win 2 consecutive... none of that happened. That fight honestly wasn't even close. I was may to win an 8-4 type fight but most rounds being competitive instead we got a whitewash ... LETS MOVE ON ..
2 reasons.
1) Pac is old and past it.
2) Floyd fought completely different to Pac than all his other opponents. He didn't go into a defensive shoulder roll for the first few rounds, instead, he smartly adjusted his game plan. I've never seen Floyd use his shoulder roll position so little in any fight.
Gotta give Floyd credit for that.
Why did the second part surprise you when he typically doesn't use the shoulder roll against southpaws.
I don't understand these arm chair critics. Like they spotted the glaring problem with using the shoulder roll against a southpaw that Mayweather, the one getting punched, didn't. When it comes to boxing, he's more educated than most on this site.
OMMFG.........Roger told Floyd to keep walking Judah down. Hence giving Zab opportunities since Floyd was always in front of him. After the 4th round it was over. Sr always tells Jr to box and move.

Seems I was wrong. Pacquiao was capable of setting traps and timing Mayweather on a few occasions. Like Judah though, it was not enough to win.
Pacquiao has had the ability to time guys and set traps for quite a while. The only issue is he's not that good at it. Well, not as good as guys like Mayweather, Marquez, Rigondeaux, or even Zab Judah. And he doesn't set traps consistently enough. He tried setting traps in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Marquez fights but when they weren't working or Marquez began to adjust Manny would easily become frustrated and begin walking into shots.
Although he didn't get reckless in his fight with Floyd, and boxed well at times, you could see he wasn't consistent when it came to timing Floyd. It took him four rounds to adjust to Floyd's jab and even after hurting Floyd he still got hit with the left jab repeatedly.
Judah gave Floyd problems because he boxed with him, set traps, timed him on a few occasions. Things Pacquiao can not do.
Aside from being a southpaw and having quick hands they do not fight alike.
Judah didn't even give Mayweather problems, he was competitive for 4 rounds then got dominated.

KFC never figured out castillo
castillo didnt perform in 2nd fight and it was still damn close
KFC fought better than DLH but cross dresser out worked him
pac is floyd's worst nightmare- he wants the media to beat manny for him
floyd is s-hit scared of losing-
This is laughable. First of all styles make fights Judah has an in and out style that gives Floyd a little trouble. With that in mind he still dominated and would have stopped Judah had he not been nailed in the balls and then on the back of the head. Pacman does great when someone comes right to him, Margarito, Hatton Etc. He does not so good with counter punchers. Floyd is a far superior counter puncher to Marquez and Marquez was landing a lot of clean shots. Floyd is also bigger, faster, more versatile, and has is far superior defensively. DLH, Marquez, Martinez, and even Pacmans old trainer say the same thing Floyd beats Manny. peace out
pac has 4 rounds to ko floyd at best and he wont. mayweather may actually tko pac later in the fight. he showed absolutely 0 resilliance against 38 year old marquez at welterweight. hes not beating floyd.
I think it's most fans who like flashy hand speed and combinations just see the wasted potential, he is as talented as SRL but unfortunately had the mentality of Mike Tyson.
And Prime Judah 140-135 is a Nightmare for Pac, he would be just as fast if not faster and more powerful(my opinion-hurts alot of people early) and when he's at his best he is better than Pac IMO, but i will concede i always support the boxer!
Clear Cut? Ok
boxing= hit and don't get hit
Show me one Video of Pacquiao sliping to the side and landing a counter left straight or uppercut! You won't be able to because he can't do it! He has to go forward! That's not a skillful fighter
You don't have an understanding of what skill is...Whether Judah is faster or more powerful it's irrelevant to what skill is. That goes under the talent category...Talent is something you're born with. Skill is something you learn.
I don't understand why you talking about hit and don't get hit. We talking about Judah here...The man gets tag a lot....He gets hit a lot...He is not a hit and don't get hit fighter...What Judah are you even discussing here?
Just because a fighter goes forward doesn't mean they're not skilled. Again some don't truly understand what a skill fighter is. You can be a skilled pressure fighter. a highly skilled pressure fighter...Now whether Pac is a highly skilled pressure is irrelevant to comparing his skills to Judah.
And, for your video, Pac did mix offense with defense in his KO of Hatton. Now there you have what you asking for...However, that doesn't prove at all whether he is or is not more skilled than Judah.
I saw both fighters fight, and IMO again IMO Pac is more skilled. But, then again I never got the big hoopla about Judah. He was athletic very much so, had amazing athleticism, was a very flashy guy, had talent, speed, reflex, and power. But, skill wise I didn't see it. And, I don't see how anyone could call the man slick...That's like calling Paulie slick cuz' he fights in a certain style...Just because you move and fight off your back foot doesn't make you slick. He got hi way too much to be called a slick fighter.
Likewise with Pac. I dont see how anyone can see that much skill in him. He has the worst balance in the history of the sport. Ive never seen a fighter off his feet so much. Look at all the gifs here of Manny, all of them have him throwing punches on 1 foot and getting punched and standing on one foot. Technically, thats stupid and I could never see Zab doing something so dumb.
Yes because pulling straight back with your hands down is technically brilliant skilled move.
Thank you for your unbiased and astute post sir.
who ever says this fight wont be close is an idiot. its floyds hardest fight on paper. his gonna have to fight his ass off to win against the beast pac-man
You lost last night jabroni...
