True, but the guy I replied to said "hardness of punches" not clean punches.
Oh, sorry it was you I replied to the first time too.
Clean and Hard punches. Both are the most important factors in judging.
Clean punches are important too. Quality jabbers tend to land the jab very clean. Hence how Malignaggi was capable of winning rounds but Malignaggi has had plenty of his own problems with judging, precisely because of this issue of the force of his punches.

Not as much as you think or Malignaggi would have never won a fight.

Lets get something clear, you do know that the hardness of the punches landed is important? Correct?

garcia lost to herrera who had a close fight with provo who lost to algeiri who pac jus fought
garcia vs pac should not happen
garcia should rematch herrera
it definitely was.
i've seen the fight 21 1/3 times already. several times on mute and some without, several different commentaries (english and foreign). i also read 8 different articles on this fight getting different opinions and insights and watched several highlight videos.
every time i scored it 8-4 or 9-3 for herrera.
this was the biggest robbery of the year and maybe in the past 5 years.
yea i agree its a big time robbery,
politics in boxing really does mess up the sport,
can understand why peeps are turning to mma
Danny was splattered all over the ring by a tune up. Herrera clearly won that fight.
And before im labeled a Lucas fan, I picked Garcia over him. But then he fought Rod Salka and all my respect for him went out of the window.
He needs to rematch Herrera. Period.
And :lol1: dat poll doe.
yea the poll made me laugh :lol1:
yes lets just give the decision to the guy that just jabbed the whole night. Didn't stun danny at all, not once. "but the nose bleeding tho". Look bruh, a child can punch a full grown man in the face, and his nose is capable of bleeding. So the "damage" dictates who wins the fight now???:pat: I mean, algieri's eye was completely closed. Mayweather's face was busted up against maidana with a big fat lip. Did they get robbed too?:pat:
You're going off on **** I didn't even mention bro. I never mentioned anything about him getting robbed I simply felt he won. Also no where did I mention his bloody nose, everything you posted is based off emotion and your feelings for the fighter.
There was nothing "pitty patty" or amateurish about his performance. Dude kept Garcia off-balance with his jab and landed numerous shots that clearly snapped his head back. Most of the fight was Herrera walking Garcia down. It was really a fascinating performance from Herrera if you get past the nationalistic bias.
Outlanded him in the power punches category. jabs alone are not gonna win you the fight, if he wants that, go back to amateur boxing.
that power punch stats for danny was also clearly exaggerated. i watch that fight a few times and danny hardly hit him cleaned or even yet hurt him. danny missed with that left hook all night. Im not a danny hater bro, but he clearly lost that fight. and its sad he lost by a guy who "jab" him all night.

He didn't hit and hold. There were very few clinches. And Herrera's "pitty pat" punches were bothering Garcia a hell of a lot more than the other way around. Herrera was the one chasing and landing the power punches late in the fight.
The pitty pat punches were pesky, his stiff jabs and occassional rights was bothering Garcia
its not hate its the truth.
and what did Danny do in that fight to get that victory??????.... Ill wait.
