I thought the tide had turned the 2 rounds prior, and that KO was gonna come sooner or later. Froch did enough body work to make Groves lower his hands just enough to land a bomb sooner or later.
I found this interview with the boy's mother. Currently reading through it. This is some heart breaking stuff if true.

after reading that article all I have to say is that Richard Schaefer has to have some serious dirt on Oscar.
117-111 was crazy, 115-113 was a good score. I think the right man won this one. You cannot win a fight running that much. That was not slick boxing that was just running.
I hope Cotto can pull this off, but Martinez looks like he wants to kill him let alone beat him...Btw someone needs to explain to Sergio what B-side is lol
My two favorite fighters but Marquez no doubt about it! Cotto is very good but it takes something else, something special to be great and Marquez has it
another side note..SMH @ JuanMa after the ref clearly favored him through out the fight and kept warning Salido, he still had the nerve to say the ref jobbed him?!.. AGREED classless move by JuanMa just classless
Pac merely paid the price for the complacency he's fallen into, ever since the late stages of the margarito fight/mosley fight.
He really shouldn't be fighting with so much on going on in his life outside of boxing. The fire just isn't burning i the ring for him as it once did. He wants it to be, as we saw how strongly he reacted to the knockout trying to bring out the old manny. But it just isn't there, and we saw what happened when he tried too hard hoping to re-ignite it.
Props to marquez, who clearly always is able to bring the best out of himself when facing his eternal rival in the ring. That might be the most brutal and shocking knockout i remember seeing in such a high profile type of fight.
In saying all this, i wouldn't mind a 5th installment, i could watch these two legends fight each other every week
Couldnt agree more
