Idiot....TBE has been doing this for 17 years plus, of course he has a better resume than the Cobra and Son of God.
You sound stupid by just referring to people by their nicknames
Downright hilarious talk from Froch there. Agree with what people are saying about about the disrespect and that it's a bit rich, but I do think that Groves is actually worried. "His glazed little eyes", haha
I enjoyed the video too. I liked how he cliped the clips together. Nothing but pure combinations.
Any reason why you didnt use any footage from either fight vs. Pacquiao? Some beautiful combinations landed in the first fight, including one particularly memorable one where he snaps his head back with a left-hand.
What about Judgement Night when Tyson and Holyfield fought for the first time:
At the Nynex arena in Manchester, people on the card included Danny Williams, Michael Gomez, Michael Brodie, Carl Thompson and Herbie Hide. Then Nigel Benn fought Steve Collins (WBO super middleweight title), Winky Wright fought Ensley Bingham (WBO light middleweight title), and Naseem Hamed defended his WBO featherweight title against Daniel Molina.
Then it switched to the MGM Grand in Vegas, and Ricardo Lopez defended his WBC title, Henry Akinwande fought Alexander Zolkin (WBO heavyweight title), Michael Moorer fought Frans Botha for the IBF belt and then Tyson took on Evander Holyfield for the WBA belt and lineal championship in Ring Magazine's FOTY 1996.
My nomination for all-time great card, certainly of the last 30 years. And I have the entire card on 7 precious DVDs including pretty much all the buildup and post-fight reaction. Beautiful!
Im sure anyone who posts in the non stop boxing is a die hard fan LOL
I am a future champion who is a diehard fan and got people I look up to..
Where is that gif from in your sig?
Hopkins, because he never "compromised in prison" (seriously, think about that. What's harder to avoid: a rear naked choke or getting raped in the pooper).
:haha: :haha: :haha:
Cuz he wants to be like his hero Manny Pacquiao LOL J/K
So is he now going to throw away all of his boxing technique and allow himself to be schooled too? ;)
If its about Pac, this type of reply is expected from you.
I don't know why people take xcaret so seriously. All his posts are basically Pacfan baiting, with a large tongue-in-cheek. All y'all let yourself get wound up by a guy whose life mission seems to be to wind up the pinoys.
I dunno, I think the term schooling is used too liberally and promiscuously by most posters as to accentuate their agenda. The suggestion that Pacquiao, who lost the fight on three judges score cards by a margin of 7-5, is absurd. Change just one of those rounds and you have a draw. If Pacquiao was schooled, then that would suggest that Morales had a dominance over him and what occurred in the second fight should have never happened. That Morales found himself on the canvas twice in the tenth and decisive round goes to show the merit of the claims that Pacquiao was schooled.
He wasn't schooled that badly mate, calm down...:)
Why does a simple jokey comment draw so much spite from everyone?!
This is one of the biggest fights I've been waiting on most of the year. It would really suck balls if this fight does NOT happen. First off it's watching Mayweather get dumped by Baldo then this fight. I pray Erik makes weight.
Fucking tell me about it, I'm flying to the fucking States from the UK for this bastard.
Erik mentioned that he's saving the right hand for Manny. There were speculations that Morales will use Cleto Reyes on his right hand to maximize the impact. However, his jabbing hand will still wear Winning gloves.
Are you serious? WOW! If that's true that's the best thing I've heard in a while! Doubt it is though.
Not many boxing fans like Calzaghe in England, they never have and don't think they will.. a few months after the Lacy fight it was back to hating him. People just didn't (and don't) like his 'over-confidence' (how can it be over-confidence though if your whooping your opponents asses?!), slapping technique, his promoter or his dad.
Even as an amateur, nobody liked him for some reason. Hell even at school he was bullied. And the general public outside of Wales just do not know him (despite being one of the most talented sportsmen in Britain of the last 15 years IMO), because he's too introverted to do any publicity stuff. He had the looks to model anything, and in his younger days an attitude/arrogance in boxing to rival Naseem Hamed. He could of been so much bigger, and long retired.
It's a sad waste of a talent and career you could say, but Joe will argue his name will be in the record books and says you won't see another world champion reign for a decade in your lifetime. And that performance against Lacy was 25 years of dedication and frustration, and will be shown as a masterclass in many years to come, I hope.
I'm sorry but your chatting shite mate. Since the Lacy fight and the advocation of British boxing back on ITV even old women where I work have been bringing him up.
That's bollocks.
Pacquiao's knockout of Morales is different from the stoppage of Barrera I think, in that the way the knocked out reacted to getting chased inside the distance. Barrera seemed to react with a sort of resignation, the reactions he had the whole way through the second half of the fight was that "I can't beat this guy".
Contrast that with Morales, who had the benefit of beating him once before. Morales I feel was galvanized by his loss, he has that athletic ego that he believes he will always be able to find a way to win. Morales is in decent shape, about 3.5 weeks till the fight and he's at 142, which isn't that bad. It's gonna get harder for him when he gets to 135 range to drop weight, for all we know he might just stop losing weight at a certain point and the fight is compromised.
Assuming all goes according to plan, Morales will come in and give a very spirited performance. He knows in his mind what a victory against Pacquiao looks like already, in his head it's all a matter of putting the formula together he used in March of '05. As a Pacquiao fan, and as a boxing spectator in general, I am not sleeping on Morales on Nov. 18. Morales is coming to fight and Pacquiao is gonna have his hands full all night.
Nice post. The beacon of sense in this thread's matrix of crap. Good K. I can't wait to be at the fight, a Brit in Vegas watching a potential FOTY, wonder how many of us UK cats are going- shit! BTW, I got a slot as a feature writer on another site...I'll PM you. Thanks for the sound advice man.
Is this true?
And no wonder He owned FEROCITY in this video!Stallone got pissed at ferocity talking shit bout the pacman hahaa
Quit making aimless threads about Pacquiao you boring fuck.
I say Quartey beats him now and back in the day as well.
I'd go for Tito back in 1999. Quartey decided to trade with Vargas and was getting caught with huge shots alls night. And we all know what Tito did to Vargas. IMO, Tito would have had him out of there if Quartey would have employed those reckless tactics.
Now? Probably Quartey. All that inactivity will have done Tito no good, plus it's pretty evident that a solid jab and constant lateral movement befuddles him.
"He says that I've priced myself out of a fight but I wasn't even aware that I've asked for a price because my next two fights are done deals," Hatton told Sportsweek.
Urango & Castillo?
"He is a wonderful talent but his last fight was very boring. They carried him to the ring dressed as Russell Crowe and he ended up fighting like Sheryl Crow."
LOL
