i think oscar waited too long to accept the fight. while pbf has gotten better, oscar has gotten older. perhaps he did it on purpose. that way he can say well i was not in my prime. its a shame that these 2 are not in thier prime at the same time. oscar always had handspeed but not quite like pbf. i honestly don't like either fighter but i do recognize thier greatness in the ring. oscar will have the power speed advantage. but pbf will have the over all handspeed advantage. pbf is also more elusive. however i think oscar is the smarter fighter. i'm not sure how good this bout will be but it would have been an awesome fight if they were both in thier prime.
I don't think it was fixed because I don't Oscar or Bernard would do somthing like that. They both have alot of respect for boxing.
about as much respect for boxing as pbf has for women. what they do respect is the all mighty dollor.
its all about money. and oscar and b-hops are making it. they fooled alot of you guys into paying $60.00!!!!!!! c'mon..did anyone really think dlh had a chance? if you ask me that fight was nothing more than two boxers that went to acting school at WWE. it looked fake as hell to me. oscar never could act. what a rip off. i'm just glad i didn't shell out the $60.00.
not to take anything away from judah but baldomirs style gave judah trouble all night. i had judah winning the early rounds but they were close rounds. pbf would totally dominate zab. it would be a short night and an easy payday for pbf.
It helped but i still think Morales would have won, it may have taken a few more round to work him out but it wouldnt have effected the outcome. Remember Manny had the blue print to beat Morales(thats if you think Barrera did beat Morales)
For those say it didnt help at all - why did Morales watch it a lot??
that i can agree with to a degree. he could have watched any of his recent fights and still gained the knowledge he needed. i mean why would he seriously have watched the jmm fight so much if all of pac-mans excuses for not winning were true? i mean seriously....if the reason that mannie didn't dominate the whole fight because of socks and hand wrist problems wouldn't that make it pointless to watch the pac-jmm fight? and wouldn't it make watching it useless? perhaps the excuses were true and legit. maybe they weren't. believe what yuo want. but if you believe in the blisters and sore wrist or hands whatever from jmm then morales watching that fight is null and void. if you believe that the excuses were shit then it looks like jmm did a great job of recovering from 3 first round kds and basically controlled the rest of the fight. perhaps it did help erik if this is the case.
pacquaio looked three times shaper because barrera didn't bring his A game. morales and marquez made him look less sharp by out boxing pac.
exactly. morales made pac look like a fool. he beat manny to the punch and made him fight his match. i think morales watched more than just the jmm fight. he knew when pac was trying to get set and stopped him by taking the fight to him just before he did get set. like i said...pac has no real boxing skills. he is pure energy and power.
I just have a feeling The fight would have been different! morales has never been known for avoiding punches haha we all know that he doesnt have the defense of JMM! he actually imitated jmm's style by pressuring the aggressor and make them fight backing up.
actually that has always been morales style. morales has always been a banger. he is always an aggressive fighter. and morales does have some defense. not the best but he does have some. otherwise he wouldn't be where he is. morales can take a punch to be for sure...but he doesn't always have to. the fact is the best man won that fight. fair and square. would it have happened the same way if the fight was before jmm? who knows. the destroyer imo has always had weaknesses. he doesn't really have boxing skills. and it was only a matter of time before someone exposed that. don't get me wrong people....i do like manny.....i love watching his fights. whats not to like about the guy? he brings tons of excitement. i hope his career continues on and he wins lots of fights. heck i think it would be cool if he beat morales in the rematch and setup "wwIII" (did i really just say that?) he as a great camera personality too. what the hell did he say? j/k
man it's as clear as Poland Spring Water. jest read it man.
i can read and i speak english. and that post made no sense. is it partially in some other language? no offense but it just isn't legible.
are u really that blind to see it or are u just hating?
i'm not hating anyone or anything. all 3 shots are below the belt and done at perfect timing when the ref was on the other side and can't see it. are they awesome shots? yes. however that are below the belt. they would have still ended the fight if they were above the line probably. but the fact is they are below the belt.
ok my apologies....after further reveiw i can now see more clearly that the blows were just above the belt. the first time i watched it the feed was lagging and it appeared that they were low
I mean he makes fat dough, he probably got 3 cars right bout now, a dope house, has a bangin wife, but shyyyt his boxing skills coulda taken him on top. I was watchin him fight Peden earlier today and I can't help notice that wit that skills he showed, he could probably handle Barrera and even Morales had they met in te featherweights. Now, tis guy is fightin bums like Thailand's "finest" Chris John on December, who I strongly believe ME MYSELF can whomp in a 4 rounder fight. Wit good skills like that, you shoulnt be showcasin it gainst bums. He should fight somebody legit. Personally, I feel bad fo him becuz he's infamous fo duckin Pacquiao and gettin lucky wit ta judges wit ta draw. Wit ta skills he has, he shoulnt be bagged on like he gettin now. If Marquez fights sumbody LEGIT and wins it, ma respect fo tis guy will comeback.
Opinions?
i have no clue what you just said.
i think it was very hard for some of you guys to see your champion get rocked the way coralles did. i agree with some of whats to be said about castillo not making weight. if he were 3 lbs lighter the fight would have ended the same way. personally i think he gained that extra weight in his balls for even wanting this fight so soon after the first. both of these guys are true warriors. i admit as a fan of castillo i am disappointed that he didn't make weight. i admit that as a fan of coralles that i am proud to see him continue on and fight any way. as i have said before i like these two guys equally. i just think that castillo is the stronger of the two fighters. i think he has the better chin as well. the only thing that uopsets me about this fight is that it only lasted 4 rounds. but i will admit....i think its better for both of these guys that it did end quick because no man should have to go through what they did again so quickly. no respect lost for either of these guys. there has been contraversy surrounding both fights and in my eyes the 3rd fight they go in 0-0
why do you guys all think this dude raheem was a nobody? because you the casual boxing fan have never heard of him? thats kinda like lennox lewis..... he too was relativly unknown to the casual boxing fan. why? because noone would fight him. why? because he was too much of a threat. we can all sit here and try to say why erik lost but that doesn't make him any less of a fighter than anyone else out there. erik morales is a living legend and will be a legend when he is dead. he has beaten the best out there. one thing that has been mentioned in articles about his last fight rings true....he hasn't really faught any slick black american fighters. well it looks like its not the best idea for him to seek that out at this point cause he lost to one in his last fight. raheem is a former olympian so he has had skills for quite some time.now is manny better than morales? thats a childs question. At this point in the game its not somwthing that i feel can be answered. sure morales once and in my opinion did it in convincing fasion, but can he do it again? i think he can. i also think manny can beat erik but he would have to change alot to do so. we shall see come january. some of you manny fans are cracking me up with your logic on why manny is better than morales. pac-man has very mediocre skill at best. he is lightning fast and has power. he has stamina and fights with tons of aggression. i have noticed that the higher in wieght he goes all of these seem to deminish. i was very proud of manny for being able to turn the tides in his last fight against someone who seemed to have the ability to create an upset. both manny and morales are deserving of being called greats at this point. but morales will be rememberd as an alltime great. manny has more time as he is younger to establish himself as an alltime great.
i wish both of these guys the best in the rest of thier careers.
because from lightweight up americans rule boxing? ummmm lets see.. the higher weights make the most money? america rules the higher weights? the money is where? seriously, are you basing you attack on hatton? one person from the uk? please.
It's interesting if Lewis was the only British fighter in the top 10 lb4lb in America, yet here in Britain he wasn't our best lb4lb.
here: http://sport.guardian.co.uk/boxing/story/0,,996634,00.html
lewis doesn't scratch the top 10 p4p imo. doesn't scratch the top 10 heavies imo.
o wow..... u wasted time typin tis corny ass shyt?!!
nyahahaha, only Mexicans r laughin wit yo ass.
actually that shit is funny as hell. anyone should get a laugh outta that one

Busy as hell, I have 3 fight cards to work inside of one week, July 19th, and the 23rd, and the 26th, then again on August 6th and of course the fight I will be doing in China on August 20th.
Plus moving our offices has been some work.
To top it off, I have to keep an "eye" on Hurricane Dennis as my belongings are still in New Orleans since I have not had time to get everything up here yet! LOL
oh snaps! how the house deal going? have you decided what you're gonna do yet?
Easier said than done buddy. You really think this gonna be any easier for Corrles. He fought his fight also its just that nobody wnats to stand and trade with Diego when they feel his power.
If anyone is gonna get worn out its corrales, castillo imo opinion is tougher than corr.did you read what diego said?
he has never felt pain like that in his life, things people shouldnt have to feel. Castillo was ready for revenge the NEXT DAY!! while diego couldnt even walk. We will see who is finished! :boxing:
no shit man!!! i read that too. i new that clown was in pain.
....Great for the fans, but those guys are crazy for fighting so soon after that brutal war they just had.
so true if they are gonna get it on the way the first fight was, but i really don't think it will be. corrales isn't gonna battle teh same way he did before. he knows that the mouthpiece isn't gonna save him this time.
