I think that Hamed's biggest flaw was that he began to believe his own hype and I noticed that once he began to believe his own hype it left him open for the beat down that he took at the hands of Barrera.
Hamed would have destroyed Barrera and Morales, are you an idiot or are you wishing upon the stars. If you seen the fight Naz never stood a chance, he was MAB bitch. When you get called Mickey Mouse and sent back to where you belong, it means you were a clown.
Hamed career was stalled by Frank Warren, people forget he started his career at Flyweight and well could have won a title at Flyweight, super-flyweight, Bantamweight, superbantmanweight. But Frank Warren figured he could jupm up from super-bantam to Featherweight and beat Steve Robinson at the time Erik Morales, he would have destroyed Barrea and Morales at that time was unstoppable. He still proved it to a point never getting stopped
At least MAB was modest. MAB could have said she's my bitch but knowing Naz was nothing more then a clown he sadi he was a Mickey Mouse. You know, Disneyland is the happiest place in earth and I hope you British idiots can visit there someday. You can see Naz as Goofy instead. ha ha ha ha
okay naz was a good fighter nothing more nothing less. as for being one of the best featherweights of all time is an insult to all the great featherweights that have fought threw out the ages.
i believe MAB said it best when he went to see naz fight and called him Mickey Mouse.
ha ha ha Juy Juy said Naz unified the 4 belts, what da phukk who are you fooling again you freaking idiot. Suddenly Morales did not exist. You British idiots stop being hypothetical, what's real is real. Barrera whup Naz, he toyed with him, Naz was his bitch and Naz retired, he has money and quit knowing all that beating he's gonna get is not worth it. The end had justified the means, he was overhype, he was a clown, a circus that was sent back because he could perform. Take that you idiot. And please mod help this useless piece of shiet.
Stateside maybe, but in the UK he'll be remembered for being a cocky little bastard who was a good fighter in the ring, with an awkward style to oppose. Barrera schooled him though.
Isnt that all that matters?? :)
Another ringing NON-endorsement !
Robinson was a very good fighter (excellent body puncher). But, if he is far & away your best victim.....you are light years away from greatness.
Agreed, but that was Naz at his best (before he became complacent in his training).
Naz's entrances were inspired by the originator of true boxing arena entry - Chris Eubank (Naz's idol, although he doesn't like to admit it).
WE KNOW, you redundant bag of wind !
His best win was Steve Robinson by miles, nothing compares to that.

I don't know that much about Curry so I won't argue with you.
What's your view on his destruction by Honeyghan? Were there any excuses for it made over there?
He supposedly was completely drained by the effort to make 147.
Maybe he was....but, he was still absolutely pummelled.
Honeyghan just tore him up.
Let's not forget that Naz was the First man to ever hold all four belts..

He was also HBO's greatest asset. Who sold better on HBO, Naz or Roy Jones? It was Naz. Fair play to the little fella :) (although a total waste of natural talent)
His entraces were f***ing lame. I never looked forward to watching any of his fights, nor did any of my friends.
you actually have friends?
Yes, I actually have friends
Donald Curry...for a few years, was the best fighter I've ever see.
He foght often, & beat excellent opposition in incredibly impressive fashion. But, he never lived up to his potential, & never fought back from true adversity or struggle.
I don't rate him as a "great" fighter.
He was better & more accomplished than Prince Naseem Hamed ever was. So, don't ever call Hamed a great fighter, as he's not even close.

Good call
The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters -
Brendan Ingle didn't help much, either.
I laughed when Ingle stated that hamed would "become WELTERWEIGHT champion" someday.
You read that kind of shit & you can't wait for some to be brought down to earth.
