I'm sticking by with what I said even with that Floyd catch-weight of 152lb. Canelo is going to Stop and decapitate Floyd.
Mayweather will eat leather to the body all night. He will get caught lunging backwards with his hands down, good night.
Mayweather's only hope is to potshot, hold, and bicycle. Even that won't help, Mayweather will eat the canvas, I promise you.
Excellent analysis.
Kevin Kelly was spot on imo:
Obviously the Maidana fight hurt his stock bad. Beating guys who alot people don't expect him to like Matthysse, Maidana, Crawford etc but also doing it in impressive/dominant fashion could bring him back.
Whether he can do that remains to be seen but if he can't there is not much chance of him being fighter of the decade.
Crazy thing is he will only be 30 when the fighter of this decade is decided. The way he lives he may be one of those 30 year olds who are completely done.
Probably not, but what's also impressive is how he gets out of the way after throwing it. In the Maidana rematch he didn't move out and got clipped but for the rest of the fight he quickly ducked under and didn't get countered by the same shot for the rest of the fight.
The question you have to ask here is whether or not Joe Frazier would live with a modern super-athlete like Tyson Fury. It seems unlikely.
Indeed, they call him '2 fast' for a reason:

I showed the Castillo fight to a couple casual fans who are friends of mine a couple months ago; they think Castillo beat Floyd.
Whenever someone claims Floyd is truly undefeated; a quick YouTube search will show that it simply isn't true.
Wow so some casual fans felt Castillo won, what does that prove?
No sir I didn't
It's actually impossible to come to a 115-113 scorecard if you score even rounds
That's why i'm curious about your card because with the point deduction i don't know how you could get 115-113.
115-111 Castillo.
Floyd didn't do enough to take the belt and was out landed by some 100+ punches.
Sorry that doesn't win you a fight :) especially when you're not the champion.
That gives me the indication that you could possibly see it as a draw with some close rounds but you gave the BOTD to the champion Castillo.
I agree with you on the chino fight
116-112 maidana.
Second one was closer for me
115-113 maidana giving fraud jr benefit of doubt for ring generalship
I've never seen anyone have Floyd beating Castillo but losing both Maidana fights.
i'm curious about your 115-113 scorecard, did you score any even rounds?
That if you show the Castillo fight to a casual fan they will most likely think Castillo won. That's what it proves.
Let's cut the BS. Floyd didn't win the first fight, admit it and move on.
Like John said; we can't rewrite history: but we can watch that fight again. Robberies happen in boxing, Castillo fell victim to that unfortunate situation.
What was your scorecard for this fight?
Ward is very good defensively but i'm not convinced he's 'great' defensively and that's probably what he would need to beat Kovalev.
I'm 60/40 in favour of Kovalev to win by KO, I don't think Ward could get the better of Kovalev on the outside even with his speed adv and when he tries to go on the inside to maul he will probably get caught with a big right.
WBC All Africa Light Welterweight Champion (140*lbs)
WBC Supreme Light Middleweight Champion (154*lbs)
nonsense.
if you watch old clips with a good audio, you can hear duran and octavio meyran talking in spanish.
"ref, i gotta take a crap."
"can you hold it in?"
"nah man, i can't hold it NO MORE."
NO MAS was perceived by the non-espanol speaking anglos as a surrender.
but in fact the great Duran just needed to take a dump and was telling the ref he couldn't hold it in no more.
:rofl::rofl:
i think pac still has pop.
a few of those shots he hit bradley with or dropped algieri with probably drops khan.
1-2 shots that pac tagged floyd with probably hurts khan.
Yeah maybe but I just can't really see Pacquiao stopping any top at 147 especially with his KO drought. For his last several fights there has been the hope he would get a KO and it hasn't happened.
This fight in 2010 at 140 is a whole different story though.
What's funnier is even his roided up self couldn't beat Winky, he got two gifts against ODLH I dunno...
His last good performance was against Margarito but even at that Shanes a good fighter but nothing over the top special he didn't age well into his
30s I don't think.
You thought he lost the first Oscar fight?
Those cards are too wide but this isn't only with Canelo. Close fights have and will continue to have outrageously wide cards under the current 10-9 system.
Rigo knows his limits. He's not ducking Loma in particular he just knows 126 is too much for him. Remember he also said there has to be a rehydration clause for a Donaire rematch if it was at 126.
He is already outweighed by 10-15 lbs at 122 as it is.
Well get that George Contanza lookalike out of your display pic then you donkey
