Mayweather 49-0, Leonard 36-3-1
Mayweather 26 KO Wins, Leonard 25 KO Wins
Mayweather Lineal Champion in 4 divisions, Leonard in only 3 divisions
Mayweather 18 world titles, Leonard 7 world titles
Mayweather NEVER BEEN KOed, Leonard got KOed by Hector Camacho
Hell if that's the case, surely you have Hop ranked higher. Considering he fought a slew of higher ranked younger fighters and schooled almost all right? Well into his 40's and all.
No because Hopkins albeit, faced allot of younger guys, he wasnt doing all the things Floyd was doing! Not only that, Hopkins strategically cherrypicks short squared up fighters. Pascal, and Cloud albeit younger, but short squared up guys he can stand taller than, and outbox!
When Chad came along, a guy who was slick af, he wanted no parts of him!
And when Ward came along, he duped him into becoming his friend, so he could use that as an excuse not to fight him! As far as Kov, Hopkins thought he was another squared up fighter like Pavlick, and got outboxed! Kov is taller than Hopkins too!
Floyd on the other hand was always the smaller guy, and when him and Pac werent fighting eachother, he always faced the best outside of Pac. Whether it was a brawler, boxer, swarmer!
All types of styles, and changed his entire style to dominate them all without being touched. People lied how their all flatfooted and slowhanded! They were all fast af, and sharp as hell! And he made them all LOOK flatfooted and clumsey!
Look at Pac. Pac is fast as hell, punch output, footwork, movement! Floyd made him even look flatfooted, clumsey, slow, and scared to throw punches! After that fight, I realize that any fighter in history who faces Floyd, is only going to resort to doing the same thing that the rest did! And Pac is one of the most awkward fighters in history!
well, it is easy with usada, nsac, refs and judges at your side....
Usada, Nasc, Refs, and Judged arent the reason that Floyd had all them skills dude, stop tha lyin! Lol
He looked so sharp, he COULD'VE been cheating! I have never seen a fighter this good in my life! But until something comes out, we just gotta give the man his props! Best fighter in history!
Maidana could probably beat all those guys on his best night if he fought them the same time Manny did.
Marquez would give Maidana hell though, Marquez is built to go to war with guys like that :lol1:
Are you serious Maidana? Margarito could probably dig him to the body and knock him out. And I dislike Mayweather, but I think he won both fights with Maidana. The first fight was a close fight and not a robbery. And like you said, I would favor Marquez over Maidana. Heck, even Clottey (underrated as hell) could probably beat Maidana (50-50).
For Bradley, It depends what kind Bradley will fight. The Boxer Puncher (Bradley Wins) or the Brawler (Maidana Wins).
I don't think his post-cotto is weak if you consider his opposition and natural weight. I think its actually good. Name me one fighter right now in top 10 Jr.WW/WW that could go undefeated against Clottey, Old Mosley, Margarito, Bradley Twice, Marquez, Mayweather (You can add Algieri and Rios if you want). Pacquiao's only real losses here was against Mayweather and Marquez IV. The Marquez III fight was a close fight and Bradley I was a robbery fight.

Got it! Thanks! Glad you get my point!
He is a great fighter, no matter how you look at it!
What do you think of Chavez Sr. If he retired at 87 - 0 68 KOs, do you believe Floyd would be worried about his '0'?
I don't think Chavez retiring undefeated would effect Floyd's career at all.
Mayweather did more in 49 fights than Chavez did in 87.
Pac's record is weak post-Cotto. Even weaker post-Mosley. Then he got K.O.d...
Pac's legacy comes from destroying the Mexican champions, jumping weight classes, and earning 8 division titles. All while being one hell of a whirlwind in the ring, one of the most exciting fighters to ever lace them up, period.
Nobody else even has 7 division titles and the only other 6 division champ is De La Hoya.

Floyd wants shortcuts to greatness. Fight GGG at middleweight and then people may consider you great alongside SRL. But discusions like that can only begin once you've fought GGG and we can evaluate the performance ourselves.
I know we can't just cut the in-betweens as they're used to increase in weight slightly but Manny would "technically" still gained half of the weight division titles or at the very least two divisions 70 years ago.
Flyweight - Lineal
Featherweight - Lineal
Lightweight
Welterweight
Aside from that hypothetical fact, he's a 4 weight lineal champion (112, 126, 130, 140). The first one to do that. Then came Floyd I think with the Canelo fight.
Got it! Thanks! Glad you get my point!

or the "RAY WAS NEVER RANKED #1 P4P BY RING"
ring mag didn't have an official P4P list til late 80's. :lol1:
you got em all LOL
man these NSB posters
Tua you are so cruel
Got it!
But back in the day, there were less weight divisions & sanctioning bodies right? So that 8 or 7 weight divisions stuff doesn't mean all that much to many!
If they create even more weight divisions in the future, such as 140, 141, 142...... Guys in the future can get titles in many more weight divisions!
Additionally if There are more sanctioning bodies that come in, if say, Yahoo or Google start their own sanctioning bodies, where the best have to fight tw best, and have their YWC, and have big bank to throw around, things could get interesting!
They have the money to do it!
Very interesting!
Fans could go to an Ifight store and purchase a fight you would like to see! Then if the money was right the guys fight, promoters would be ass out! Fighters would keep their money, minus some charges, and get paid for taking risks!
Seems fair enough!

Ok! But I got one question??? I will preface my question first! Floyd beat
Marquez, Canelo, Mosley, Corrales, hatton, Cotto, and MannyPacman
Each time Floyd beats a guy many though Had a chance to dethrone Floyd but couldn't, he gets no credit!
Q: why is the preflight guy who the media says could beat Floyd, after this challenger fails, is later spoken of disparagingly by many in the media and rabid PAC fans?
Yet, after Floyd beats them, the typical excuses come out! Floyd beat a guy past his prime, too young, too slow, whatever! But manny can beat the same guys, and he is better than Floyd! Manny fought the best! Etc!
Why are they not good or legit challengers after Floyd wins?
But PAC can beat them after and he is the best??

Because he gave it his all and gave the best performance possible. He had the best record against the 4 name guys Hearns, Duran, Hagler, and Benitez.
Floyd's legacy is defined by fabricated cherry picks where Floyd and his handlers knew he was in no real danger of losing. Never really laying it on the line and never overcoming much adversity because he just would adapt and pull out. He'd minimize every risk to the finest detail and fight taking the perspective that he will not do anything that could get him hurt. He just kind of coasts though rounds and does what he needs to do, and wallah....another hard fought UD. Amazing boxing talent and truly an elite. But he took a business approach and treated himself like a stock not a champion boxer. Simple as that

Hahaha! I used to wonder why you were so negative about Cotto and spouted all these stats. Now it dawns on me it doesn't really matter. You've just shown your lack of knowledge about boxing. I shouldn't have to explain why you're dead wrong, but I will anyway.
Leonard overrated and Mayweather underrated?? Leonard fought and defeated none other than: Wilfredo Benitez, Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler.... among other greats. That list alone puts Mayweather's to shame.
Weight divisions and titles? You should know better than that (or maybe not). In today's age of catchweights and alphabet organizations, it's easier to accumulate trinkets than in Leonard's era.
Finally... you mention Leonard's KO loss to Camacho. Seriously?!?!?
LMFAO!!!
You mean the one when they were both over-the-hill old men?
THAT knockout loss??
Thanks for letting your true boxing knowledge show through.

SRl may have big names, as well as legends on his resume, but Floyd on the other hand was in his late 30's fighting guys who outweigh him by 15lbs, and half his age. Just humiliating them! This is a little dude with no power, working on pure skills.
Not a little dude with power, just battering everyone, but outslicking them! 20yrs against, bgger men, barely getting scratched! Thats why I have him TOP 3! The circumstances, and having the deck stacked against him with size, weight, age, and still making it look easy!
In that regard, SRL's resume, albeit flashy, is not as good as Floyd's! Not even close!
