This has got to be made? Right?
Cotto's team should lodge an official complaint, pay their WBC sanctioning fees and lobby for the fight to be outside Vegas. I know a lot of this will depend on Cotto and the PPV numbers but I reckon it did decent buys. So why not push for the rematch?
MSG, May 2016, especially considering Canelo won't fight GGG unless he absolutely has to at the tail end of next year.
Fight wasn't close and cotto did nothing to prove a rematch was necessary. Rematches are for close fights like Bradley-Provo, the miura fight, Holyfield Bowe, etc. fight with actual drama and a close result. fights like last night don't need a rematch. Cotto had a good jab and threw useless slapping power shots. He honestly looked like an amateur a few times. I was wonder wtf he was doing.
I never said it's a robbery. In fact, I said Canelo winning was plausible, what isn't plausible is the scoring. That's a robbery because when you score it by a 6, 7, 9 point margin, in a close fight, you know the judges had no intention of scoring that fight.
But you keep believing it was a cake walk.
You seriously don't know **** lol for a guy who considers himself some boxing guru :lol1: Cotto was clearly outboxed, Canelo was toying with him
Btw, to all those posting "Canelo won clearly", which is mainly mexicans or floyd dicks, two groups that dominate this forum and literally have no input outside of their obsessions: post your scorecards, I want to see how you scored these wide rounds.
Why would Floyd fans care?
your gonna tell me you watched the fight drunk and think canelo won? you clearly were high as ****.
Canelo didnt get out of the way of anything but yeah, cottos punches werent hard enough to hurt him. It could have been a close win to canelo but nothing more.
Canelo didnt get out the way of anything????lol wow
I have to rewatch it sober but I don't remember cotto landing anything of note.
Canelo was doing what he wanted, avoiding most of cotto's shots and landing big, clean counters and an occasional straight right or hook.
Canelo looked bored honestly. It's like he already knew he was the superior fighter and the fight was in the bag, there was no need to risk getting countered.
No need to re-watch because that's exactly what happened. I was sober.
I really don't know what some people in here were seeing.
Cotto needs to go back to 154 and fight a farewell fight at MSG. Good fights with Bradley, JMM, Maidana, Chaves or Molina
The end is here - no need to be a prop up for a house fighter the new guys anymore. Take a fight in June and then hang it up. Last night was a good fight for him and he can hold his head up high
wait wait wait...even the guys who are scoring it widely for him never claim he outboxed Cotto, he may have landed harder shots but he outboxed? lol wow
He quite clearly outboxed Cotto.

lol This guy was 100% sure cotto would win with out a doubt now hes saying it was a robbery :lol1: what a fckng tool.

lol still giving no credit I see. Canelo clearly outboxed Cotto who was never a better boxer than him. Footwork does not equal better boxing skills. Canelo does everything better than cotto boxing wise.

Sadly you can't post a "I told you all!" thread this time because you picked Cotto to "pick apart" Canelo :lol1:
Your boxing expertise wasn't as sharp when you weren't picking the huge favourite to win.
"I told you all!!! Told you Bradley would beat Rios!! Call me Nostradamus because I proved everyone wrong with that outlandish pick!"
