Probably not, but what's also impressive is how he gets out of the way after throwing it. In the Maidana rematch he didn't move out and got clipped but for the rest of the fight he quickly ducked under and didn't get countered by the same shot for the rest of the fight.
This thread is beautiful...... p@ct@rds and fl0mos agreeing on something.
"If i can change, and you can change...... EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE!!!!!!"
Totally agree Bro.

You guys know why he's so good at that?
What do you think that pad work with Roger is doing? Floyd's got that counter down like we have tying our shoes down. It's beyond second nature. It's ingrained in him since he put on gloves.
Current fighter??? HELL NO
But James Toney, Ali and Archie Moore were damn good at it as well
yes, and ali's right hand counters were a sight to behold as these rights do fell foes down...

At 14:10 Roy throws a counter that is better and more effective than anything Floyd has thrown in his life.
i noticed he changes his stance when he's ready to throw the right lead. he turns his back foot
ive noticed this for years lol and cant figure out why none of his opponents have ever been able to see it coming
when floyd is looking for that pull counter right hand, he lifts his right back foot onto the toes to gain extra leverage/traction for what hes about to do ...you would think somebody would have studied this by now and learned to avoid jabbing when hes in that stance
i guess they do but hes STILL too fast to avoid it:boxing:
